Moisturizers -mark - Matte Chance

I recently repurchased this moisturizer from Amazon, and let me tell you right now, I have no idea why I waited so long. I had no idea how perfect this little jar was until it wasn't around anymore! My skin just drinks this stuff up. It's mattifying, but not all day for me. My extremely, almost freakishly oily skin, has pretty much backed me into a corner, so much so that, I've pretty much ALMOST given up trying to find a product that mattifies me all day. This comes pretty close. Smells so sweet and pretty, the pump is awesome, and the consistency is nice and thick. A bit pricey, got my first bottle for $18 directly through mark. and my second bottle for $20. I would recommend it to anybody, though. Really really great product. Will repurchase once I run out. :)

Conditioner -Garnier - Pure-Clean

Why all the negativity? Seriously, one of the best conditioners I've ever used. Maybe you all are using too much? Or maybe the formula is just more suited to curly hair. Not sure, but either way, used in conjunction with it's matching shampoo, Aussie 3 Minute Miracle rinse out, and a Garnier leave in conditioning cream, my hair looks and smells fabulous. Love this stuff.

Cleansers -Yes To Carrots - Yes To Cucumbers Face Cleanser Towelettes

I watched a beauty guru use these on YT. She described them as being very calming, great smelling, effective, all that jazz. So I go out and buy myself a pack with my friend, get home, super psyched, rub all my makeup off. Lo and behold, I felt like someone was rubbing alcohol with a loofah into an open wound. Horrible pain, and after a little while, one of my eyes swelled to a tremendous size. Gave em to my friend, and her skin which can handle anything. Not worth twenty cents, let alone $6. I had a lesser reaction to the body butter, but it still made me real itchy and red. My advice? Wash your face at night. It really is the best thing to do.

Liquid -Cover Girl - Clean Makeup, Sensitive Skin
rated 4 of 5
FloofyCurls 6/27/2012 6:26:00 PM

Light sheer coverage that goes on smooth with a foundation brush or sponge. I would recommend finishing it with powder for better coverage. The packaging made it SUPER hard to get out though. Have to bang it on my hand to get the product out. True to its name, it feels clean and light. Little bit of a chemical smell, but it's not too bad. All in all, a nice light, clean foundation for oily summer skin.

Scrubs -Queen Helene - Mint Julep Natural Facial Scrub
rated 5 of 5

This cleared my skin up and completely smoothed my face over. Pores? Gone. Blackheads? What are those? Redness? None. My face went from feeling sweaty and icky and oily from no AC in my house and ninety-degree temps to smooth and cool and refreshed and, well, gorgeous. IN ONE USE. OVERNIGHT. It was astounding. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this scrub. Run to Sally's, pick it up, and don't let anyone have any. Ever. Nope, never.

Loose Powders -Palladio - Rice Powder

Natural ingredients, silky smooth texture in the box AND on your face, unbeatable oil control, layers beautifully, doesn't look like make-up, fresh comforting scent (kinda baby powder esque, but milder), verrrry affordable at your local Sally's. And I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it (considering I can live with the packaging). I have found my HG powder. Praise the lawd.

I put this in my hair last night after my shower, twisted it into a knot at the bottom and went to bed. I woke up and shook it out and OMG, it looked and FELT incredible. I just smiled all goofy because it was so awesome. I have very curly hair that gets frizzy like there ain't no tomorrow, and this just made my curls silky soft and bouncy and the way they are supposed to be. I love it. I think I have found the right product for my hair. :)

Liquid -Revlon - PhotoReady Makeup

First off, let me say that I am still trying to figure out my liquid foundation HG. It's been a long run, and I'm disappointed to say that this wasn't it for me. It is very sparkly, especially if you get it in the lighter shades. It sticks to your skin well, but it makes your face look oily. Patting a powder on after makes it look OK for a while, but later on, it gets your face all oilified. I've been using it since I got it, almost finished with the bottle, but only because I can't afford to throw it out or give it away. I will definitely be trying some different ones out.

Conditioner -Clairol - Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Moisturizing Conditioner
rated 4 of 5
FloofyCurls 6/18/2012 7:29:00 PM

I tried this at my friend's house, and I had to get some for me. Seriously, it smells like what a blue island paradise looks like. It replenishes hair's moisture really well, and used with the shampoo, it's great for summers at those tricky chlorinated pools. Plus, a big old honkin' thirty ounce bottle is only about $5. So I would say buy it if you're looking for an affordable nourishing conditioner, that gets the job done.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Professional Waterproof Mascara
rated 4 of 5
FloofyCurls 5/3/2012 2:45:00 PM

Got mine today, and I already love it! Completely waterproof, makes your lashes super duper long, doesn't flake, doesn't smudge, but comes off easy with make-up remover or olive oil. :) I got mine on sale for $4.50 at Kroger, so definitely great price. It's got a nice small brush to get all those lashes in there. Only thing I didn't see was the volume it promised. But it kept the curl nicely. I love it. Def a superb product. ^-^ ** A month later I have found that although it does provide spectacular length and very good staying power, it will dry your lashes out to straw unless you use a primer under it. So if you want long and strong gorgeous lashes, use this in addition to a good eye lash primer. Not changing my rating though. ^-^ It's my go-to waterproof mascara.

Treatments -Aussie - 3 Minute Miracle Deeeeep
rated 5 of 5
FloofyCurls 5/2/2012 3:02:00 PM

Best deep conditioner for the money. Use it too often though, and you may get buildup. Every other shower I think is a good general rule for dry or over-processed hair, once a week for normal hair. Great for curls too. My hair was soft as feathers and very shiny. Silky, had no problem running a fine tooth comb through my tangles. All in all, a fabulous product. :) My go-to conditioning treatment.

Eyeliner -Maybelline - Unstoppable Eyeliner
rated 3 of 5
FloofyCurls 5/2/2012 2:57:00 PM

I've been using this product for a few months now, and I like it. I don't love it, but for the price, it's a good buy. Fades, but definitely doesn't smudge. Keep it thin and light, and it's about 85% waterproof. Cake it on, and it's bound to smear. Stays on waterline, goes on fairly smooth, but I say if you can afford something a little better, go for it.

Misc Beauty Tools -Clarisonic - Mia

So far, in my six or so years of the war against acne, this and maybe two other products have almost cleared me up. I'm extremely acne prone, so almost is good enough. :) Great product. Clears pores down deep, buffs out icky dry skin, helps you get your glow on. Only thing is make absolutely sure you replace the brush head every three months. If you don't the product loses its potency. Expensive overall, and I'll bet if your skin isn't too bad you could get the same results with a lesser brand similar product. But for me, win. :)
