Treatments -TRESemme - Deep Quench Conditioning Treatment

Usually I’m a huge fan of Tressemme products, the shampoos and conditioners have the best fresh and clean scent and they work so well that I get the huge size but this was a disappointment. My last mask treatment was a Fekkai Shea butter one so maybe I got spoiled but this product didn’t do much, first time ever it felt as cheap as it costs. No major difference in moisture levels, it’s interesting to try but nothing I would purchase again, once I’m done I will try new products and go back to my favorites, sadly this wont be one of them.

Mascara -Revlon - Colorstay Lashcolor Mascara
rated 1 of 5

I was so disappointed with this product that I don't even want to try Revoln mascaras in the future, they often are a fail but this one really takes the prize. The clumps begin days after the tube is opened, and good luck getting this off your eyes even with baby oil, I lost lashes because of this gooey mess of a product, I was so upset that I had to treat myself to something recommended and great - Diorshow after how badly this performed. I rarely see a mascara get this dry and clumpy so fast, it must have worked overtime to get this cruddy. In the trash it goes after two weeks of use, not hanks.

Mascara -Revlon - Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara

One of the worst mascaras I have ever used.. Let me just say that I’m not allergic to anything, never have been and I’ve used all sorts of makeup and eye products for years now, this is the only item that makes my eyes itch and water. As I’m typing this now my left eye keeps watering, this mascara smells very fake, like hard core chemicals, I don’t even know if this makes the lashes grow because every time I wear it half of it seems to melt off.. $9 bucks down the drain with this one, it’s awful, I would NOT recommend this. Also the brush is very thick, it’s impossible to use it well, I love comb type brushes, they paint the ink onto the lashes so lovely, this must have been designed by people who think more is better, well in this case it failed.

Mascara -Almay - Pure Blends Mascara
rated 1 of 5

This is the wrost mascara I have ever bought, ever! After the first use I all ready hated it, the color is barely existent it's so light and it's instantly flaky, when applied it looks like I was using a mummified makeup item. I wanted to throw it out after the first application but felt bad since I have just gotten it, but after using it a few times I gave up and ordered Buxom from Bare Escentuals, which btw is an amazing and still natural item. This really sucks, I wish I read the reviews before I tried it out, oh well..few bucks wasted.

Cleansers -L'Oreal - Skin Genesis Pore Minimizing Gel Cleanser [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5

I don’t know about minimizing pores, can a face wash really do that? I doubt it, so that’s something I’m totally ignoring when I use it, in fact a good scrubbing and a mask seem to do a better job at that. The face wash is really lovely, removes all makeup and makes my skin feel baby soft, I even love the scent, it smells like pink crystallized roses, very jewel like and bright but not too strong, I almost wish I could bathe in the scent, its really beautiful…I even told one of my friends about it, she’s a total cosmetic junkie and she ended up getting 4 when they were on sale. My drugstore sells it for $8.99 and even at that price I would still get it but I pick it up on sale or stock up when I get it online, for about $6.50 I’m currently on my 4th bottle of this, its fantastic and I never get breakouts when I use it. My skin is combination but gets dry easy, and this doesn’t seem to bother it much, in fact the face feels clean and not overwashed when I use it.

Lips -Cover Girl - Outlast Lipstain - 410 Bit of Blossom
rated 4 of 5
Flinta3 2/24/2009 11:18:00 AM

I have been on a hunt for a marker type lip stain for a while, and this one does a great job considering how inexpensive it is. The color I got is 410, a cooler version of a fuschia pink, I find that using it on clean, bare lips works best, but since the color is so bright I add a layer of Lip Smackers milky beige gloss on top ( color – Cappucino) and the combination makes the lips really pop. The pale pink shines beautifully though the creamy pale beige and it melts together for a really gorgeous lip. I wouldn’t wear this alone, its too bright and the worst part – it runs out so fast. I’ve had it for 3 weeks or so and there’s barely any ink left…very strange. This looks good with some balm on top and doesn’t make the lips sticky or cakey, I cant wait to try more colors, I just wish there was more product in the actual tube.

Treatments -John Frieda - Luminous Color Glaze

This stuff not only smells funky but left my normal, happy, shiny hair staticky, stringy, dull and really unmanageable. I will never waste my money on this product again, id rather color my hair since it feels less damaging. Not only does the shine not show up but it seems to take softness away from my hair.

Lip Gloss -MAC - pink meringue
rated 2 of 5
Flinta3 4/30/2006 11:38:00 PM

I love the color in the tube, but its really so sheer that I look as if I'm wearing clear lipgloss. This has the usually sweet scent and lovely slick thickness of a MAC lipgloss but I won’t repurchase because the prettiest part of the color is in the tube and not on your mouth

Shampoo -Terax - Miele Shampoo
rated 5 of 5
Flinta3 4/30/2006 11:19:00 PM

This brand might be well known and used between celebs, but its one thing to hear about it and another to use it. I can honestly say that Terax truly delivers what they say and I can see how they can have such big following; it's luxurious, natural, and it works. Miele means honey, and this is rich, heavenly scented and is an all natural moisturizing wash for the hair. This really feels pretty delicate, not stripping and harsh like so many product there, yet it leaves the hair wet and clean; not sucking for moisture. There are so many shampoos out there that barely work and are boring and I keep finding myself always coming back to this one. I follow up with the Terax Crema conditioner or use a deep treatment after. I color my hair every few weeks and this really helps the color from fading and makes me look forward to washing my hair. This brand looks and feels very special and I'm really glad it's made and I can buy it all I want!

Cleansers -Clean & Clear - Oxygenating Fizzing Cleanser
rated 5 of 5
Flinta3 4/30/2006 11:16:00 PM

I was in a bit of a face cleanser rut and having just finished my recent face wash I dashed into the drugstore to get a replacement and this little bottle caught my eye. I wanted something that would take off make-up, de-gunk and refresh, and that I could use it both morning and night time if I had to. This cleanser is in a gel-like suspended liquid form and it feel so refreshing on my skin that I really look forward to using it all the time. It does a terrific job of taking of my makeup and it really leaves me glowing. The skin looks really vital and healthy after using this. I love the incredibly fresh feeling of dipping my face in the ocean with this cleanser; it’s truly one of the better ones I’ve tried ever. I will definitely stick up in case it’s going to be some temporary item but I sure hope it stays. The bottle also closes really easily and it’s perfect for travel.

rated 5 of 5

I accidentally bought this kit online and meant to buy the Amazing Grace set, and got this one instead, my mistake, and I was buying it as a Christmas present for a coworker, so I was bummed, yet I took it out and did a brief spritz to see what it was that I did buy, and ohhhh...it's lovely!! It's a very delicate wiff of Amazing grace, the pink musky ivory scent, but bluer, It's cool yet clean sexy. Delicious! I am keeping the open bottle and ordering my friend a new one, Im surprised how madly I fell for it! I all ready have the Amazing Grace perfume myself, yet this one has a different hue and I love having one of each. Totally Delicious, love it.

Moisturizers -Rachel Perry - Ginseng Collagen Wrinkle Treatment with MSM Bioflavanoids
rated 5 of 5
Flinta3 10/30/2005 11:43:00 PM

I have always seen the pretty Rachel Perry packaging on her mysterious products, and I had no idea something so cute and pretty could work so well! I’m only 24 and do not have wrinkles, but I use this as a night cream, and it leaves my face plump and soft. It really boosts up the smoothness and glow of my skin. I love it! Rachel Perry skin care has been a great find, every product so far is packed with natural and wholesome ingredients, it's cheap and it really works. After using this for two weeks, I know I love it. After first use my face had this -just went to the spa- glow. I can’t stop looking in the mirror; this makes the skin really strong and healthy.

Masks -Rachel Perry - Clay and Ginseng Uplifting Mask
rated 5 of 5
Flinta3 10/30/2005 11:38:00 PM

I have always seen the pretty Rachel Perry packaging on her mysterious products, and I had no idea something so cute and pretty could work so well! I love the berry scent and the intense blue color of the mask, and how well it covers the face. It really goes on and grabs to any bad stuff, only to wash off and reveal this smooth and poreless skin. Miracle in a jar I say!
