Very pretty, girly sheer pink. Also not a fan of the Kardashians, but this pink looked so perfect for me. I applied only ONE coat over a base and a white tip, then followed up with a topcoat. Sheer, pretty, professional, and it wore nicely for at least 4 days. The hint of blue sparkle is perfect. Such a cute polish.

Shampoo -Wen by Chaz Dean - Cleansing Conditioners - All

I just hit my one-year anniversary of using Wen exclusively. I love this product and I recommend it to everyone I meet! Though I have long, fine, abundant hair, I do not find that this product weighs it down. When I used traditional shampoos, I found gobs of hair falling out when I shampooed. This has stopped that altogether. RINSING IS KEY. I also use it on my little boys' hair! And the mist too! Great for little boy bed head. Lavender is a great-for-everyone formula, and among the seasonal scents, I like winter vanilla mint and fall pumpkin ginger the best. I order from QVC when they have specials. I don't have any experience with the Wen infomercials.

I just bought some. They were having a big sale. It smells like Johnson's Baby Shampoo! That's why I got it. While in the store, I have to say most of their fragrances were way too sweet & girly. This one smells decent.

I am devoted to this cream cleanser. My skin tends to break out around day 14 and 26-28 of my cycle. This cleanser has stopped that. Feels great to have clear skin!

Eye Shadow -Cover Girl - Intense ShadowBlast

LOVE THIS. I use the light beigey color and the silvery one. They make a great base for adding other colors in the crease. No fading or creasing by day's end. I need to stock up.

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow

I bought Bad to the Bronze because my CVS was sold out of practically every color! I was looking for a champagne-y neutral. This shadow is just okay. Doesn't blend as smoothly as I'd like. I wore it with the Maybelline Studio gel eyeliner in black...after 12 hours there was definitely creasing. Gross. The Cover Girl Intense Shadow Blast is a superior product. Colors are limited/minimal there though, too.

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Deep Clean Long-Last Shine Control Cleanser/Mask

I was initially unsatisfied with this product, so I put it back in the medicine cabinet and there it sat for half a year. I generally prefer to scrub my face with my cleanser in a washcloth, and this doesn't lather so it wasn't working for me. But I ran out of other salicylic acid-based cleanser, so I pulled this one out of the medicine cabinet. Now I love it! Here's why: I rub it into my face with no water at all. I let it stay on like a mask while brushing my teeth or wherever. After 2-3 minutes, I rinse it off with a washcloth. So it seems to work best if you leave it on for a bit. And use water only to rinse. My skin looks amazing, inspite of being very oily/breakout prone! Wahoo!

Hair -Unlisted Brand - KIRKLAND SULFATE-FREE SHAMPOO

I was very excited to try this because of the price, and I generally love all things Costco. This shampoo is NOT for the silky haired person. I have straight, fine textured hair, but there is a lot of it, and I have nice natural volume. This product WEIGHS DOWN fine-textured hair like crazy. My hair looked and felt dirty and greasy. My husband also has fine hair, but he wears it very short, and he experienced the same thing. I gave it to my curly haired sister and wished her luck.

Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - HiP Metallic Duo - Electrified

I have been using HIP Wicked for several years. But because I'd used the dark purple shade with a damp brush as a liner, the shadow wasn't coming off onto a dry brush very well any more. I changed to cream liner and like to "set" it with the dark purple shadow. So I found Electrified last night, and bought it, wishing I could have checked MUA first. NO NEED! Awesomely beautiful shimmery taupe shade. I haven't tried the purple yet but will tomorrow. Very pretty eyeshadow.

Self Tanners -Jergens - Natural Glow

The smell doesn't bother me that much. I have used it after a morning shower and and evening shower, and it smells like most self tanners. My legs look dry and scaly though. Hmm. The tan color is great on my upper body. But my legs look orange. I have cool skin tone: blue eyes and ash blond hair. So the orange is a contrast. It's cheap and one bonus sized tube has lasted me since the beginning of May. I plan to use it through October. Would buy again.

Masks -Queen Helene - Mint Julep Masque

Thanks to MUA I am a convert to this product. My favorite use is right after a workout, when my skin is hot and my pores are all open. I got to bed with squeaky clean skin that feels refreshed.
