*MAGIC* I use this cream for everything! I've used it as a diaper cream, rash cream, acne treatment and moisturizer. It heals and soothes wonderfully. I use this under my regular spf moisturizer during the day and under my night cream. I have such dry skin, and this helps keep it moisturized and it keeps the blemishes away, as well. A little goes a long way! It's great for sooting & healing dermatitis & eczema. I keep one in my bathroom, one in each of my sons rooms and one in my purse.

Liquid -NARS - Sheer Glow Foundation

So. I really wanted to love this foundation, and I really was until I realized this *perfect skin match* was waging war on my face! At first I was ecstatic because I found a perfect match for my pale, pale, pale skin. I bought this in Siberia- MAC NC15 is a bit too dark. Shortly after I started using this, I started getting cysts, but not regular acne cysts. They were akin to what I get when I eat processed soy products... I've never had acne like this in my life and I was HORRIFIED! I stopped using my new primer, I cut out food with even the smallest amount of soybean oil but the cysts would reappear as soon as the old ones went away- it took 6 months to figure out what the heck could be doing this to me. I pulled up ingredient lists for the Sheer Glow and for my old foundation (MAC Select). The Nars is silicone based with the second ingredient being Cyclopentasiloxane. This ingredient is not present in the water-based MAC I had used for years. Never had a breakout from the MAC. Other than the skin reaction, this is a great foundation. It photographs beautifully and provides good coverage (it is not sheer). I applied it with a damp sponge, my fingers, dry foundation brush and a damp foundation brush and all produced a nice result. It can highlight dry patches, so if you have very dry skin (like me :( ) exfoliate and moisturize before you apply. I am very sad Sheer Glow didn't work for my skin, but if your skin isn't bothered by CPS, give it a go! Edited 11.30.12: After stopping this foundation for weeks, I have realized that this foundation didn't just give me the reactionary cysts, it DESTROYED the texture of my skin! I had finally, at 29 gotten my skin nice, even with postpartum hormones but this makeup caused my skin to be perpetually rough! Without altering my routine, my skin is back to being smooth and now I have minimal spots (stupid hormones!) again. Three cheers for California Baby Calendula Cream!!

I bought this for use as a blush--yes, I am that pasty!!-- and I am pleased with the results- I get just a bit of color that looks very natural. For reference I am NC15/10 watts.

Moisturizers -Origins - Never Say Dry [DISCONTINUED]

I have finally found THE moisturizer. I am using a retinoid cream for my mild acne, and for the life of me I could not find a heavy enough moisturizer to help with the peelies. This is the only one that works. My face does get a little shiny, but as far as I'm concerned flakes are worse than shine! It is a tad spendy for a fairly small amount of product, but it is absolutely worth it. Will buy again.
