I have read so many reviews on this product. I'm nc30, and fellow nc30s recommend this product and swear by it. But I HATE the colour on me. I just don't get along with it. I find that it is way too shimmery and too obvious. It doesnt compliment many eyeshadows or lip colours so it looks quite odd. However, it looks perfect on my sister who is NC42. I can see why some people love this blush, because it sits beautifully on some peoples skin tone. Its just not for me. x
The primary use I get out of this spray is to dew down matte makeup. If I accidentally go abit heavy with the powder (and I detest that heavily made up look), I can tone it down by spraying fix plus. I love the smell too. I can safely say I won't be purchasing it again. Money would be best spent somewhere else.
I recently had a traumatic experience with my lashes. They were once long, thick and did not require much effort. Some stupid eyelash curler (by max factor, for which i shall definitely be writing a bad review) ripped off all my eye lashes! Now, I didn't want to resort to wearing false lashes everyday, as I simply do not have the time to be fussing around in the morning with a bit of lash glue and hair on a strip. So anyway, the lovely lady at the beneFit counter convinced me to purchase BeneFit, They're Real mascara. This mascara does what is says on the tin. In just ONE coat, it gives you thick, long, glossy and fluttery looking lashes and bambi eyes! Your eyes will instantly look open, wide and all fluttery and flirty. The brush adds to the benefits of the already amazing formula of the mascara. The brush can work in two ways. The end of the brush has the same structure as the loreal telescopic brush. This helps to curl, lengthen, separate and define your lashes. Really handy for bottom lashes too! and the actual wand held horizontally thickens, lengthens, volumises. Basically works its magic to help you achieve false looking lashes in just one coat. Please, if you have not tried this mascara already, do give it a go! Best mascara I have ever tried, without a doubt.
I love love lovee this blush! It provides just the right amount of colour, for a pretty pink pop of colour. Depending on how you apply it, it can either give you a healthy flushed look, or help you look well put together for the day/evening. It is cream in formula, however it does work like a powder. In the sense that it sets on to your skin, so you don't have to bother re-applying all day long, which is the case with other cream blushes I have tried. I'm really loving the dewy look at the moment, for spring time. Combined with Nars sheer glow, my shade being Stromboli (using my fingers), I can achieve a radiant glowy complexion with minimum effort. Definitely consider ladyblush my MAC as your staple make-up item.
In terms of skin tone, I am nc35 in mac, very yellow undertone. I found this lipstick to have too much of a blue-ish tone to it. Completely unflattering on me. But I can imagine why it looks lovely on others. The formula is quite lovely and creamy, and in the tube, the colour is gorgeous. Just not on me. Unfortunately, still on the hunt for the perfect everyday pink. :(
