I am reviewing the Liquid foundation Diorskin Nude...... well, it has good coverage but honestly looks so cakey and unatural....I only sampled this...got very greasy towards the end of the day...not for me!
Dont get me wrong this is not a bad foundation, it goes on nicely has a nice texture and consistenancy and coverage, It's just the colour! It is so awful and makes me look GREY! I have a very yellow based colour and this was more pink beige....wasnt good. Do not recommend this for Olive complexions....I used true nude..I am a NC35 in MAC.
Cleansers -Avene - Cold cream ultra-rich cleansing gel

I purchased this because I had a bad breakout from the Clarisonic which gace me spots and dry skin :( I usually use Liz Earle cleanser which I love to bits but I thought I would buy a really gentle cleanser for the morning because my skin was agrrevated. Well, first few days were OK, then I started to get dry where I have sensitive skin and I was also getting spots there cos it was cleaning that area. I used this for a week and I am now returning it. It doesnt foam which is fine with me but it doesnt clean the skin but somehow leaves it dry and irrated and not suitable for sensitive combination skin. I didnt expect to use this is a make up remover but I tought it would atleast cleanse my skin and not cause me problems. it is a large tube and the products squirts out fast so be carefukl with that.
Well, lucky for me I sampled this one...phewwww. Do not like this, so hard to blend it instanly dries and sinks into the skin and I hated the finish...made my dry patches obvious and I didnt fnd this very dewy looking....it has a decent coverage but a matte finish which is kinda strange as its meant to be a "light creator"? So a big NO for me...
OK.....this didnt break me out and I got to admit I loved the colour. I used to use this a long time ago when my skin was oily/normal. I did but this again but my skin has gone a bit dry and now powders dont look good anymore and I look even more dry. So, tbh if you have normal skin this is a great product. I used to use this with a kabooki brush and it did look good and was such a pretty colour.
Gosh........I wasted my money on this peice of junk :( I thought this may be good as it has water, water is meant to be good....how WRONG! First of all the packaging is soo annoyinggggggg. It has a nozzle...and you have to shake the product up and that gives me a arm ache....sometimes it comes out like it is supposed to and sometimes it is so watery...gosh! The coverage is OK, doesnt feel heavy but the colour is different from the Perfection Lumiere and I dont like that...I was a 40 I think...this also broke me out badly like the other Chanel foundation... It has a semi matte finish, doesnt last very long. Poor foundation and a waste of money!
I sampled this one, and I admit I did go to a few shops to get samples.....because if you read my other reviews you can tell I have a lottttt of foundations. Well, firstly this oxidies so I would get a shade lighter than what they test on you. I also think this is a full coverage foundation and is not for day wear, I wore this all day (looked very greasy) and by the end of the day had smile lines ?? :p So was not best pleased with aging in a day....also when it wears off it looks awful. Also, clogged my skin SO BADLY!!!! Goshhhhhh I am still dealing with the spot marks and I tried this Christmas time...really not HAPPY! It's a waste of money and very unatural looking....its too dewy!
Liquid -Guerlain - 'Lingerie de Peau' Invisible Skin-Fusion Foundation

Oh gosh, this was such a waste of money!!!! Firstly, I was matched wrong, the colour was so dark....I have an olive complexion but still managed to look like a oompa loompa! I got done by a good sales lady...urgh! It does have a very nice luxurious texture and it feels so smooth. But it is heavy and dewy and at the same time matte...if that makes sense? My t-zone was more noticable and my dry cheeks looked dry! I regret buying this. It gave me spots like all the other millions of foundations I have tried. It's a shame, I really wanted it to work :( I like the guerlain bronzers they are amazing.
A purchase I regret because of the price, £30. This is just way too greasy looking and looks horrible after wearing this all day. I would say wear it as a going out foundation but I dont think it photographs very well. It does have good coverage, but its too heavy and looks like you are wearing too much make up. I do like the colour, it makes you look like you have a nice tan. I would be a MAC NC35 and I think I had santa fe or syracuse. It broke me out as I knew it would as it is way too thick. I think if you had dry skin that needs coverage and isnt prone to breaking out, this would be good. But I am not a fan.
I puchased this in the shade 53, I am the equivalent to MAC NC35. This does have a nice dewy look, but I dont like the rose scent and again my skin didnt like this and gave me a few spots. It offers minimum coverage, over priced and doesnt last very long. The colour is also a pink understone, healthy mix matched a bit more for my yellow undertone skin.
I purchased shad 54, I would be a MAC NC 35 it wasn't a perfect match but good enough in terms of colour. I think this product looks nice on, it doesn't give much coverage in my opinion and when you build it up doesn't look as great. The packaging is great, has a pump and is very light weight. Was around £10-12 which is not so good, I think this should be about £8. The reason I didn't like it because it gave me a few spots, didn't give decent coverage, its like a tinted moisturiser and the colour was not yellow based enough, a bit on the beige side. It's a semi matte finish which I do like and it did smell nice. I think someone with good skin that is not sensitive would like this. It didn't las very long also.
Foundations -Max Factor - Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion Foundation

This is the only foundation I can use because every other foundation seems to break me out. It is a light to medium coverage and glides on very easily and smoothes the skin out. It doesn't feel like you are wearing any foundation and looks very natural. I prefer to use this foundation with a stippling brush (I use MAC's). I might have to touch up during lunch time on my T-Zone but it pretty much lasts all day and even when it does wear off it doesn't look awful at all. There are a few things about this foundation which I don't like, such as the colour is not the exact match for me and doesn't have a yellow undertone. I am a MAC nc35, I use the darkest shade which is called Bronze which is darker than my skin tone. However, if I use Golden I find this looks too washed out and isn't a very nice colour. The other not so good thing is that it lasts maybe 6 weeks then I am finding myself buy a new one. But the good outweighs the bad and I rather have clear skin then break out in spots. I have combination skin which is sensitive and breaks out with the wrong products. I have yet to find a foundation which doesn't break me out. Laura Merciers powders don't but I dont like powders much. I wish MAC didn't break me out as the NC35 colour shade is perfect and I love the look of most of their foundations. I have also found Chanel foundations to break me out too.
