i love this when i want to wear something that isn't super girly but still smell good. i just tried a magazine sample of d&g light blue and it smells identical to turquatic imo. i'll have to check out light blue in the store to know for sure.
Powder -Clinique - Perfectly Real Compact Powder Foundation

I love this! It is so much better than MAC Studio Fix. Studio Fix is way too cakey and unnatural looking, Perfectly Real looks well...perfectly real. On me it gives medium coverage, I still use concealer under it on my old blemish marks. I use shade 102 the lighest, to compare I wear MAC NC15. It doesn't control oil for very long so super oily girls might want to pass.
I hadn't used this mascara in a long time and decided to purchase a tube yesterday after my Chanel Cils a Cils left me dissapointed. I have to say that I do really like Great Lash. It goes on smoothly, no clumping and it didn't make my lashes brittle feeling. The only downside is that is really does smudge. Maybe I'll try the waterproof version next time but I don't usually like waterproof mascara because I find the formulas too dry for me. I'm going to say I'd re-purchase next time I need a fast replacement. It sure beats paying $25 for a mascara that doesn't do any better than this.
Wow does this stuff smell horrible! Smells like a mixture of really musty cigarette smoke that is absorbed in fabric and burning rubber. I don't know if I can get past the smell to use it again. I do like that it is thin and spreads easily. I've only used it once as a mask treatment and didn't notice any results. I'll just try using it as a spot treatment if that doesn't work I'll stick to Queen Helene Mint Julep mask.

This mascara is OK. It didn't WOW me. For $25 I think I should be WOWed by it LOL. It goes on a bit clumpy and smears a little after a few hours of wear. It doesn't do anything out of the ordinary, not much different from several drugstore mascaras the only thing that I did really like about it is that it doesn't make my lashes stiff and brittle. I should have stuck with DiorShow or picked something different but I'll just use it up and get something different next time.
I wasn't expecting the mask to be quite so liquidy, and I did shake it before opening it. It went on super thin and it did sting my skin a bit, nothing unbearable but I would say sensitive skins beware. It says to leave on for 3 minutes but I just left it on until it was completely dry everywhere. Before rinsing it off I could see that it really sucked a lot of oil out of the pores on my nose. Overall I don't notice a difference in my skin. I have only used it once so far and I will report back after I use this a few more times. $28 at Bath & Body Works but I got it on sale for $7 otherwise I probably would never have chosen this.
Moisturizers -Philosophy - Hope in a Jar - for all skin types

I've only used it twice but I won't be using it again. I can tell that my skin isn't liking it, it's starting to feel like it did when I was using Korres Yogurt Cream (little raised bumps were everywhere). I think my skin might not like lactic acid products. The smell is horrible and it doesn't fade quickly, I applied it before bed and when I woke the awful smell was still lingering. Also it stung my skin on the more sensitive areas. My skin didn't even feel completely moisturized it felt a bit tight. I really was expecting to love it because of a lot of raves and because Oprah loves it, but I really hate it and definitly won't be purchasing. I however love Purity Made Simple and will probably purcahse it after I run out of cleanser.
This is a very good basic product. It comes in a squeeze tube which is good if you are concerned about breeding bacteria. The moisturizer itself is thick and a little goes a long way. My skin does feel very hydrated and smooth. Since it is a thick cream it leaves a protective layer over skin, I have combo-oily skin and it doesn't make me any oilier it just doesn't leave a matte finish and it hasn't caused any breakouts. I'm really liking this for the colder months. Since I've been using this product I haven't had any dry spots or flakes, so A+ from me.
I am so in love with this color. It gives you the color of a natural flush, in the pan it appears to be a drab plummy color but it looks lovely after applied. Also in the tin it looks very slightly shimmery but the shimmers don't show up on me which is a good thing cause I wanted a matte blush. Cutest blush containers ever! Body & Soul has yet to do me wrong, I just with my Sephora carried it in store so I wouldn't have to order online!
Lipstick -Body & Soul - Cream Lipstick in Spotlight
FallenStar841 11/27/2005 10:57:00 PM
I was looking for a really nice red cream lipstick that wasn't an in your face blue toned or pinky toned red. I was looking for a warm red, Spotlight is exactly that it's a rich warmer red that is very flattering. The texture is nice and creamy. I will for sure be buying more colors in the future. And the packaging is very cute if you love vintage :).
So far this cleanser is working well for me, my skin is combo-oily with the occasional break out. It reminds me a lot of Purpose Moisturizing Foaming Cleanser that was discontinued. Cleanses without stripping the moisture from my skin like it said. If you're looking for a no frills cleanser that gets the job done without the dryness give this a try.
So far so good with this brush. I purchased it to use with my Stila Smudge Pot to create a super smooth liquid liner effect. The brush creates a super thin line and it was easy to use. I look forward to trying other Smashbox brushes.
The grains are nice, they remind me of jojoba beads. This scrub is very gentle and foams up a little bit when you lather. My skin was actually glowing after and it felt super smooth. I've only used this once so far because you are only supposed to use it 2x a week. I highly doubt I will have any problems with this product but if I do will be sure to update this review.
Treatments (Eye) -Boscia - Enlivening Amino-AG Eye Treatment
FallenStar841 11/21/2005 6:14:00 PM
Lovely eye creme. I love how it makes the skin around my eyes silky to the touch. One pump is enough for both eyes. The only draw back is the bottle because it will be hard to use up all of the product when the bottle is near empty. I have been super impressed with all the Boscia products I've tried. Eventually I want to be using all Boscia skincare products in my routine.
Moisturizers -Korres - Yogurt Cream (Yoghurt Cream)
FallenStar841 11/21/2005 6:09:00 PM
Ok the first two days I used it I liked it a lot. It really moisturized well and sank right in. The light fragrance is nice and the texture is a little sticky but bearable. But after using this product for a week my skin is not happy. The texture of my skin is bumpy and uneven feeling, though I can't really see the bumps when I look in the mirror. Also my cheeks are itchy and I have this weird cluster of acne on my forehead. I will be returning this to Sephora right away! By the way my skin is usually not sensitive to products so if you have sensitive skin I would suggest a patch test for a few days.
