Lip Gloss -MAC - Lipglass in Lychee Luxe
EyeLuvMakeup 3/18/2004 3:04:00 AM
Ahhh now this truly is coral..not too pink nor too orange...a great blend with just the right amount of shimmer. I like this better than Chanel's Sirop, which is too pink for me when I'm in a coraly mood (but otherwise pretty). Very pleased!

This is such a pretty blush for Spring. It gives such a subtle fresh pink glow. Another winner from Cargo!

Eye Shadow -Stila - Viola Eyeshadow
EyeLuvMakeup 3/9/2004 12:06:00 AM
I am a big fan of Stila's e/s due to the incredible texture, most of them feel like Satiny powder to me. This is no exception...the feel is nice and the color is a pretty bronzy purple. This looks great when used as a "toned down" smokey eye and a liner too.

Eye Shadow -Cargo - Bermuda
EyeLuvMakeup 3/9/2004 12:03:00 AM
Cargo is my new favorite brand!! This e/s is a gorgeous shimmery (almost frosty but not too frosty) pinkish tawny (that flashes lilac in some lights) color...simply gorgeous!! I use this on my lids and it compliments my green eyes really well. I can see this being used as a brow bone highlighter as well. I also use this over my blush, just on the apples of my cheeks, and I have a GREAT highlighter...looks almost like the powder version of NARS Copacabana (but better IMO). It gives a beautiful angelic glow and makes my pores disappear...I just can't say enough :)

Blush -Cargo - Prague
EyeLuvMakeup 3/8/2004 11:58:00 PM
Cargo is my new favorite brand! Not only do I love the color of this blush, but the size is perfect for the price. On me (cool LLL) this blush looks like a natural bronzy color...very pretty! The texture is super silky and I just adore the classy metal tins...I must get more!

Lip Liners -MAC - Subculture
EyeLuvMakeup 3/8/2004 11:56:00 PM
I forgot how long MAC lipliners were..LOL!! This is *just* the color I've been searching for...perfect nude/natural but not too brown, pink or orange!! I wear it under EVERYTHING and it works well to tone down my pigmented lips! Believe the hype about this one!

Lip Gloss -Apt.5 Cosmetics - LG-05
EyeLuvMakeup 2/27/2004 10:55:00 PM
This is a great pink gloss, and I swear it looks *just* like Nars Sweet Dreams....it's a little more creamy and tastes better...plus, you can NOT beat the price.

Lip Gloss -Apt.5 Cosmetics - LG-14

Once again, I am shocked at the quality of Apt.5 cosmetics (in a good way). This l/g is a pretty nude/natural YLBB, and tastes almost like MACs...as others have pointed out. The staying power is decent...I like these a lot more than Revlon's Super Lustrous glosses.

Eye Shadow -Apt.5 Cosmetics - e/s duo #3
EyeLuvMakeup 2/27/2004 10:43:00 PM
I cannot believe how ugly this e/s looked in the pan...one color is a brownish/army green color and the other is a chalky off-white. That being said, they look great on. I use the dark color on my lids and the light one as a highlighter and my eyes look dramatically greener...I just can't say enough about the quality of these cosmetics...they rock!

Eye Shadow -Apt.5 Cosmetics - eyeshadow duo #1
EyeLuvMakeup 2/27/2004 10:39:00 PM
Believe the hype...these e/s are great...and this color...I'm amazed. It looked so blah in the pan...but once applied...it was gorgeous. The darker color is a dark taupe and the lighter one is a brownish/gray color w/ shimmer...hard to describe..but really pretty. I use the lighter color as a wash and then apply the darker one in the crease...and I have instant EASY smokey eyes. This duo really compliments green eyes..and the quality is outstanding...the e/s blend SOOO well...better than my Laura Mercier's or MACs...it's just too good!

Concealers -Paula Dorf - Total Camouflage
EyeLuvMakeup 2/27/2004 10:35:00 PM
This concealer is okay...it's very creamy...which feels nice when first applied, however it kind of cracks/cakes later on. I do use it for undereye circles since it is so creamy...and I actually think I like this better than LM's Camouflage. I am a LLL and I use Sand/Nude...the lighter color is perfect while the other color can look a little orangy if not blended properly. I got this on sale but probably wouldn't buy it for regular price since it cakes.

Blush -Paula Dorf - Ballet cheek color
EyeLuvMakeup 2/27/2004 10:32:00 PM
I was interested in this blush ever since it was used in the latest Sephora Catalog. It looks bright bubblegum pink in the pan, however it goes on very sheer yet the color can be layered on for a more intense look. This looks like the powder form of PD's cream blush, Playmate. The packaging is sleek and the size is pretty nice.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - X eye shadow
EyeLuvMakeup 2/27/2004 10:28:00 PM
I just love UD's "glitterless" collection..and X is no exception. I use this on my lids and it makes my olive green eyes POP. The pink and gold tend to blend and form a peachy sheen on my lids..the staying power and blendability is awesome.

Palettes -Laura Mercier - Eye Paints
EyeLuvMakeup 2/10/2004 3:02:00 AM
If you love classy, natural looks, than this 10 e/s palette is for you. The colors are great and range from navy blue to mauve. Very sleek as other members have said, and so many looks can be made from the palette. I love to line my eyes w/ the navy color (Deep Night)...really makes the white look WHITE! I was a little disappointed w/ the texture..I prefer very soft and highly blendable e/s. But unlike other brands w/ the same texture, LM's e/s have pigmentation, which is good. I ordered this from Saks during the promo frenzy (for 25 bucks) but I ended up getting it for free...had it not been for Saks poor business skills, I probably would have had buyers remorse due to the texture, but that's my only complaint.

Eye Shadow -Trish McEvoy - Mint
EyeLuvMakeup 2/10/2004 2:51:00 AM
I seldom give out five lippies but this is just a GREAT e/s!! I never knew TM e/s were so lovely...the texture is the BEST I've come across, and the blendabilty is just awesome. I think this is my new fav brand! Mint is a beautiful light seafoam green, not harsh, sooo classy...very hard to describe the color. I wear this on the lid, w/ TM Topaz in the crease and my olive green eyes look unbelievable!! I think this shade would compliment every eye color and skin tone...totally worth the price!
