The color, formula and brush are awesome! I'm very pleased with my purchase. I was hesitant at the begining because that is not my go to colors but I gave it a try. Good for me, I don't regret. On my nc30 skin looks very chic and not muddy at all. It lasts at least 5 days on. Perfect for this saeason. I recommend it 100%

Lipstick -MAC - Peachstock (satin)
rated 5 of 5
Exotichris 9/27/2011 9:12:00 PM

Peachstock is a lovely opaque nude color with a peach tone to it. No shimmer. On my NC30 skin is perfection. I hated Gaga2 it was too plain but Peachstock is the nude for me, it doesn't look brown or concealer. I love to add on top some gloss. It's longlasting too and the formula is very pigmented. It looks just a little bit lighter than my skin color but never plain or pale. I love it!

Highlighters -Illamasqua - Surge Liquid Metal
rated 4 of 5
Exotichris 1/27/2011 9:23:00 PM

A truly beautiful metallic color !! I got the palette with the 4 colors and I love them all, Solstice is my fave but I had to admit that Surge creased on me even thou I wore it on top of Mac Soft Ochre, but it wasn't too bad either. I discovered that I can apply an eyeshadow in a different color on top of these Liquid Metals and the outcome is fabulous! give it a go and you might be as surprised as me. I'm NC 30 and this color Surge looked a little olivey on my lids, no too silver and no too warm or cool.... just neutral but. With a pop of shine. I took one lippie of due to the slight but ( at least for me ) noticible creasing.

Treatments -Revlon - Crazy Shine nail buffer
rated 5 of 5
Exotichris 1/27/2011 9:09:00 PM

I am very pleased with this nail buffer, it does live my nails super shiny like if I applied clear top coat. The glossy effect lasted more than 3 days for me and I just had to keep the shine with the white part . I got it at Walgreens for only $1 with coupon but I think it's worth full price too. I like the drop shape and mine is still good after 1 month. Will repurchase!

Polishes -Sally Hansen - insta-dri blazing blue
rated 4 of 5
Exotichris 1/15/2011 4:51:00 PM

I originally bought it because of the pretty edgy chic color. It was 75% off so why not give it a try?! Wow! I said when I saw the big brush haha... But I find it not bad actually, formula was not too thin but I did 2 coats... my final thought was ok, no too bad, the thing is that polish looks too dark, almost black in some angles. But after a while I like it, it's growing on me very fast! I love it even more after I applied a top coat, my nails are very shinny with a very unique color... it's nice when you want to want to rest from black but still want that vibe.

Exotichris 1/13/2011 11:00:00 PM

WOW! The Bombshell is an amazing tool, it yeilds the MOST beautiful curls / waves in the world!! My hair is Long and thick and have a lot of it and I was able to do my whole head in less than 20 min. The curls will last a very long time, until I wash it again ( not exactly the same but still nice and defined ) You will get shinny curls, sexy and natural looking. Please get it and try it,this is a product you cannot miss out, prive was worth it for me. Just be careful and wear the glove always and keep the iron away from your skin ( face). I truly recommend it if you like gorgeous curls. Sultra rocks and if u like then in Facebook, they have givaways of their different products very often. Lastly I want to say that is a MUST HAVE for me. Love it so much!!!

Bronzers -MAC - Weekend creme bronzer
rated 5 of 5
Exotichris 6/7/2010 4:38:00 PM

Weekend! This creme bronzer has irresistible texture, goes on smooth and finishes like a powder. It's very silky. The color is like a deep bronze with reddish-orange undertones, but I like that it doesn't look muddy on me. Other bronzers are too brown, plain boring. Weekend has shimmer but when on the face, it doesn't look obvious at all. I use my 187 brush and get amazing results. For me, I use it all over or for contouring and I love it every time (I used Benefit Hoola for that but I found the creme bronzer way better). It's very natural, melts with my skin, no breakouts so far and lasts fine amount of time. My face looks not oily but glowy. I almost pass on this one, do not let the deep color scare you, actually its very flattering on, no red, no orange, just nice tan that bring the best of the summer. I use it on top of my foundation. And I also think the brush is *key*. You can even spray some Fix+ or equivalent to your brush for a Weekend's lighter touch of color. Finally I like to say that I'm NC30 and I'm very pleased with my purchase, the other one Beach Bronze shade, was too light and did not show well. So I prefer this one and do not regret a bit. Ps, Where are the reviews for this? EDIT*** weeks later I love it even more. Recommended!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Firecracker
rated 5 of 5
Exotichris 5/28/2010 10:31:00 PM

Firecracker! What a happy shade for summer. I'm so glad I got it, I'm wearing it today. The whole look is lovely, I wore my Thrills l/s and Weekend cream bronzer. Firecracker's color is like a hot orangy-red with a Veluxe pearl finish. This one is very pigmented, compared to Hot Hot Hot. No over the top shimmer, just sheen packed with color. Its very flattering on my NC30 and brown eyes but many other skin colors can easily rock it. Fierce! Tomorrow I will wear it combined with NARS Rated R, chartreuse green e/s (since I didn't get Sweet & Punchy) Finally summer is here. EDIT: I still love it, even more. Who knew?

Lipstick -MAC - So Chaud
rated 5 of 5
Exotichris 5/15/2010 4:11:00 PM

So Chaud! I absolutely LOVE this color, it is not red but a nice orange-ish redden, if that make sense lol, well I own all sorts of bright lipsticks from MAC, pinks, fuchsias, reds, corals but oranges? (I thought) -no thanks, oranges are no way flattering on anyone-. However So Chaud made me change that perspective. I'm surprised it is very flattering now days (hello warm weather) and the lasting power is excellent. There's no shimmer in it, and that makes it so chic. For reference I'm NC30. It is not clownish at all and I will repurchase. Well in fact, I B2M this one. Girls you could be missing on something good, at least go try it! but it's not for the faint of heart either. EDIT: I love it more and more. Great color! Try-you-won't-regret.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Tissueweight
rated 5 of 5
Exotichris 5/4/2010 12:08:00 PM

Tissueweight! from all the items of the collection this eyeshadow was the winner, the only thing I really liked, as well as the Originality nail polish, but back to the review, Tissueweight's color is a pale pink/peach, very light shade but this one is pigmented. Reminded me of Ricepaper in texture/blendability/frostiness if any, actually it is not frosty, weird they considered it a frost. This e/s is very silky and NOT chalky at all. I'm NC30 and it goes well with my coloring, at first glance I thought it was going to be too light but actually was really nice. It's a great browbone highlighter, or packed onto the lid to show the pinkiness of it. It brightens my eyes, the whole look, even makes my brown eyes pop. I'm glad I got it. When I wear this I like to wear lippies in color fuschia or hot pink like Girl About Town, Hollywood Nights, Show Orchid, Chatterbox... Similar e/s that failed: Rosy Outlook and Give Me Liberty of London (similar in color/purpose but no pigmentation what so ever); enter Tissueweight, what you see is what you get. Recommended* if you have no color like this then MUST BUY! EDIT: Still wonderful. I would repurchase in the future.

Highlighters -Illamasqua - Solstice
rated 5 of 5
Exotichris 4/7/2010 7:16:00 PM

Solstice! wow, this is really bright liquid metal looking like gold. not the average gold like UD half baked, but more yellow and just a bit of greenish. I'm NC30 with brown eyes for reference. When i first tried it, i thought I'm going to be very discriminating with this because it is not cheap and I don' need another gold in my collex, so, yeah, it better be unique and worth it. Well it was amazing! so wonderful and will make your eyes the most beautiful among other golds. Texture is creamy, smooth and color is very pigmented. I use it all over the lid, note: it's best applied with the finger over a base for long lasting power; for my crease i use a matte brown like Handwritten to give dimension to the whole look. To make the color pop even more I wore my bronzer all over, lightly. and since I'm not afraid of drama, I use red lipstick, but just to stain my lips and top with gloss. Turn heads? you bet. Well, all I'm saying is that this Illamasqua Solstice it's a very special product. It inspires me for a summer goddess sexy siren, lol just sayin' Recommended.

Lip Gloss -MAC - English Accents
rated 5 of 5
Exotichris 3/21/2010 1:52:00 AM

Like Snob kinda shade but this one is more wearable for me. I have olive undertones -medium skin tone. The color is a nice pink/cool/blue undertone with no shimmer. It's very creamy and opaque which is a plus because I can wear it alone. Color is very similar to Blooming Lovely but pinkier. BL didn't work for me, it clashed with my NC30 but EA was way prettier. Love the packaging too. I' very happy with this, it has an acceptable lasting power. The color is very this season. Consider yourself lucky if you happen to find it available ; )

Eye Shadow -MAC - Give Me Liberty of London
rated 2 of 5
Exotichris 3/21/2010 1:34:00 AM

Again, this is a color that barely shows on my NC30.. I used Soft Ochre as a base then surprise! no color what so ever I REALLY have to pack on the color ( pat pat pat with the 213 brush) to show a light pastel pink. I do build the color and it doesn't oxidize at the end of the day. This is a matte formula. I'm deciding against it, so sad because I wanted this color so much, but it is not worth it to me having to pile on and on. The texture blends, is not chalky but it goes on very sheer. I would not recommend this one or Rosy Outlook. Rosy Outlook from the Spring Forecast 1 is lighter in color, like more white/pink and again the same issue. EDIT: April 2nd. I returned it, besides the fact that didn't show on well, it irritated my lids.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Birds and berries
rated 5 of 5
Exotichris 3/19/2010 1:41:00 PM

Birds and berries. Don't you love the name? This is a teal shade between green and blue but more blue than green. Veluxe pearl, pigmented, blendable, shimmery in a pearly way, no glittery or metallic. According to swatches I've seen, looks like Plumage e/s but that one is matte. Birds and Berries is a darker teal. I tried this e/s with Vex (or Electra) on the lid and B&B in the crease. Gold or coppery e/s on the lid and B&B in the crease. Vanilla or Naked pigment on the lid and B&B in the crease and black e/s in the outer corner of the eye to give more dimension. B&B on the lid and Satin Taupe in the crease. Very nice for smokey looks. A must for brown eyes. This e/s shade will suit any season, is not only a spring color. Packaging is pretty, sure refreshing to see white on a MU case for spring/summer. I do not have Strike a Pose but people compare B&B to that one. Why there's no reviews in here? Anyway, don't pass on this one. Good investment A+
