Eyeliner -Urban Decay - 24-7 Glide on eyeliner in bourbon
EvilyKyoko 3/4/2013 8:02:00 PM
This was an unexpected HG product. I use this on my lower lashline every day because it matches my everyday brown eyeshadow that I wear on top. It's the perfect color, a red-based brown with gold glitter, and it lasts all day. I got it in a set with Ransom and I havent missed a day of using it, it makes my makeup process faster.
Eyeliner -Jordana - Fabu Liner Liquid Eyeliner Pen
EvilyKyoko 12/20/2012 4:41:00 PM
Wow. This is a great liner. I tend to prefer liquid liners in pen form, and even L'Oreals linuer intense is a pain for me to apply. This is really easy to apply. It comes off as a nice, deep black. It's not water resistant - if you cry, it'll transfer to your upper lid. However, on its own it has good staying power. You can make a great wing with this, because you have lots of control. For the price, this is a fantastic liner.
I absolutely love this color. If you have brown eyes with hints of red, this really makes them stand out. It's not too dark for daytime The gold glitter does not really stay on your eye, but the color itself is still wonderful. The shadow stays on great with a primer. This is one of my favorite brown eyeshadows. I will definitely repurchase.
Not the best nude I've used. The texture is nice, but it is a VERY orange-toned nude. It made my face seem orange. It is not like a skin-color nude, if that is what you were looking for. The texture is nice, creamy, no sparkle. I personally just didn't like the color.
Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - Le Gloss - Nude Illusion #164

Personally, I'm not a big fan of glosses in a squeeze tube, but I wanted to try this anyway. This was a so-so gloss. There was pretty shimmer and shine to it, and I love the finish (VERY glossy.) The color wasn't a true nude though, it really did not nude out my lips. I have to note that the vanilla-y scent in this gloss is borderline overpowering. And I like sweet scents. All in all, for me, this gloss was not great and not horrible. I won't be repurchasing.
Eye Shadow -Jordana - Color Effects Powder Eyeshadow Duo
EvilyKyoko 5/31/2012 2:56:00 AM
Wow. Was not expecting such high quality with these shadow duos. These shadows are so smooth and pigmented, I did not have to use a primer underneath (and I ALWAYS use primer.) I have two of these, Smoky Browns and My Other Half (a silver and a sparkly black.) The packaging is cute but a little bulky. These shadows are so smooth they feel like cream. I will definitely be purchasing more.
This was the worst eyeshadow I've ever used. Ever. It had no color payoff and kept flaking off, even with primer. could not be used wet or dry, and very messy to work with. And SO overpriced. There is absolutely no upside to this. Cute packaging though. Will NOT repurchase.
I am super impressed with the Coloricon Bronzers. Ticket to Brazil is the darkest of the 3 shades they offer. This is probably the smoothest, most pigmented drugstore bronzer I've tried. It is very blendable, so blotchy-ness is not a problem. There is some shimmer in this product, but not to the point where you can't dust it all over your face. It just adds a bit of dimension to your face. The packaging is very big - which I like, because I can go into this with a big kabuki brush and use it as a body bronzer so easily. Again, blending is not an issue so the process is very fast. I'd describe the color as a golden terra-cotta color. The SPF 15 is a HUGE bonus with this, because sometimes I won't be using founation underneath. Overall I will definitely be repurchasing this bronzer, it is so fast and easy to use, so getting a more tanned look isn't a lot of trouble.
OH my GOSH. How did I ever do bright eyeshadow looks before I got this? This, when used under eyeshadow, made even the most unpigmented eyeshadows POP. I could rave on this for days, but using it is so simple. Draw it over your lid, blend with your finger, and apply shadows over it. And for the price, this is an insanely good deal. Buy this, especially if you love bright eyeshadow looks. You won't be disappointed.
The texture of these shadows are interesting, but nothing spectacular. I like the packaging of these because they don't take up too much room. I don't have much to say on these yet, but i will update this later.
Mascara -New York Color - High Definition Volumizing Mascara
EvilyKyoko 4/9/2012 7:03:00 PM
This mascara really does volumize lashes, because it is more of a dry formula. The brush is fantastic and coats every lash. The only problem is this is not water resistant at all. I have very watery eyes, and this smudges like mad if your eyes tend to run. Just something to bear in mind.
Liquid -Rimmel - Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation
EvilyKyoko 4/9/2012 7:01:00 PM
I like this foundation. The shade range isn't the greatest, so the shade I got is a bit lighter than I usually prefer. It is medium-full coverage, and the lasting power is phenomenal. I can barely see any pores by the end of the day. I do, however, have dry skin. I don't like setting foundation with powder, and this was matte and lasted all day without needing to be set.
Nice color, didn't have staying power problems. It did take a few layers to get the color on, but if you plan to top it with shadow that's not a problem. On its own it's good if your lids aren't too oily, but it just takes some time to apply, so be patient with the application. You can use a brush and apply this under the eye too.
I like the pump on the packaging (you have to admit the packaging is cute.) As a TM, this gave NO COVERAGE. It also looked muddy on my skin. I guess I'll just use it as a sunscreen if I ever go to the beach. Wanted to give this a try but it was not worth the money.
Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon 305 Glamrock
EvilyKyoko 4/9/2012 6:42:00 PM
This was not the epitome of Wet 'n' Wild eyeshadows. For some reason this purple shadow was very unpigmented, had LOTS of fallout, and was patchy and flakey. It just would not stick to my eye, with a primer or a base or alone either. Wet 'n' Wild has way better other eyeshadows, but this disappointed me. I do not recommend this.
