I was prescribed this for perioral dermatitis. It works wonderfully. It will not work right away and the doctor said I will need it for months, but it really works. Also, it made it worse before it started to get better. A plus was it is fading some PIH on my chin. I wish it came in a pump b/c product does spill out of tube when you open sometimes. My insurance covered some of it so it was $60 for me.
This stuff was such a great find. Sets my makeup beautifully. Plus, it gives me just the right amount of dewiness and hydration. Added bonus is that it is 3.4 oz so you can travel with it. If you have oily skin this may not be so great.
Liquid -Chanel - Le Blanc De Chanel Sheer Illuminating Base

I bought this even after reading all the mixed reviews. I disliked it so much I returned it. It did nothing for me at all except make my face look sticky. It whitenes your face if used alone. With foundation on it did not extend my wear at all. Lastly, the packaging is the worst. Why is the tester a pump, but the retail one uses a spatuala?
Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - ZNP Bar by Stiefel Laboratories

This stuff is a miracle for me. I developed SD after my second child and it has been red and burning for months. Out of desperation while waiting to see the derm, I ordered the bar. I was skeptical, but figured it might help a little. 3 days of the soap and otc clotrimzole cream and the flare up went away. SD id for life, so I plan to use a few times a week and hopefully avoid flare ups. I only wish it was not in bar soap form.
Lotions/ Creams -Fake Bake - bronzy babe tinted body glow

I cannot believe how great this is for so cheap!!! I have dry skin so I'm always looking for a bronzer that won't dry me out. Even though this is a cream, I apply with a kabuki brush b/c it gives you great, ever, flawless finish. I find applying it by hand I do not get the same results, plus I use less with the brush. I always get compliments when I use. My HG brozer.
Styling Products -Oribe - Supershine Moisturizing Cream

I have tried so many leave in conditioners over the years and have never found one that suits my wavy hair (which is fine even though I have a lot of it). This really is the best stuff. It is expensive, but it is really worth it. My hair is shiny and looks so healthy. I will definitely repurchase.
Oh Ped Egg, where have you been all my life? I cannot even tell you how dry my feet are. Whenever I get a pedi, I get a lecture from the manicurist. My feet look better than after a pedi. I am glad I read the reviews though, b/c it really is messy--so I sat on my sink counter and did it there. That was really the best $9.99 I've spent. Now I need to find where to get he replacement blades :-)
Makeup Brushes -MAC - #187 Duo Fiber Face Brush (Stippling, Skunk Brush)
Esthygirl 4/2/2008 7:56:00 PM
This brush is AMAZING. I use it with my FACE Atelier foundation and my skin looks airbrushed. I cannot tell you how many compliments I have received. I put a little foundation on my hand, tap the brush into the foundation, then blot on my face. I then sweep to blend. I am a makeup artist and loved it so much for me I bought one to use professionally :-)
Blush -Aveda - Petal Essence Face Accents - Plum Fresco
Esthygirl 2/14/2008 7:40:00 AM
This is my HG blush!!! It is a pretty fuschia/plum color with gold flecks. I am NC 25 and always have a hard time finding blush that shows up and is flattering. I had been using NARS Orgasm and LM Hazelnut but wanted something cooler. I get compliments everytime I wear this. I hate AVEDA packaging, but I would rebuy if it were not LE!!
This is one of their Galaxy Glam shadows. In the container it looks like iridescent swirls of white and various shades of blue--ranging from light to very dark. When you put it on it looks very close to MAC's Flashtrack. It goes on very smooth and the color is a gorgeous silvery dark blue. I got so many compliments wearing it. My only complaint is the screw top lid. I prefer the small NARS shadows with the flip lid. This is a little bulky.
I was surprised to read so many mixed reviews for this. I bought it to use as a liner. I think it is the perfect blue for brown eyes. Since I only use as liner I cannot comment on its "blendability". It has just enough shimmmer to keep it interesting. Goes on smoothly with an angle brush.
Masks -Unlisted Brand - Eminence - Organic Skin Care
Esthygirl 10/16/2007 7:50:00 PM
I bought this at a show, so it was dirt cheap!!! BTW, I bought the Rosehip and Maize exfoliating masque. It definitely makes my skin feel smooth and "clean," but I'd rather use an AHA daily and get the same if not better results. Plus, it is a little messy.
This and Wicked are the best dark colors I have found. It has great staying power and looks good on most skin tones. My only complaint is the Essie bottles--they are always getting glued shut :-)
I bought these in Khaki Kraze and Truly Denim (the trios). The colors go on very smoothly and beautifully. great staying poser. I have brown eyes and both these trios help my eyes stand out. My only complaint is the $27 price tag--a little steep.
LOVE IT!!!! I'm an NC25-30 and this is the perfect color to warm up my face. I put it on over my foundation with a blush brush, then set with powder. Fir a more intense look, I finish with powder blush. BECCA packaging is wonderful.
