Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Colossal

This mascara is all you can ask for and more! Remember that this is a volumizing mascara, so don't expect incredible length to accompany it. But, as far as volumizing is concerned, it does an awesome job at it! My thinned out, straight lashes look so big and flirty with this stuff! The waterproof kind holds the best curl all day long. It does start to flake a little towards the end of the bottle (I buy a new bottle every 3 months), but it has never smeared for me. A lot of people complain about the smell, but here's my two cents about it: yes, it does smell, but I know this because I held the bottle directly up to my nose and took a whiff. So in other words, the smell is a teeny tiny drawback to this gem of a mascara! Its very buildable, so you can go as dramatic or natural as you please. Not to mention the great price ($7.99 USD @ Walgreens) and the adorable bottle, this mascara is an all-around win!

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous mascara

This mascara and I had a love/hate relationship. Most of the time I hated it, though. The minute I took the wand out of the tube, I knew that this was going to be a problematic mascara. The mascara was already clumping on the brush, never a good sign. But I continued to use it, since I had spent $5 on it already. The best summary I have is clumpy, clumpy, clumpy!! Not to mention it couldn't hold a curl whatsoever, so it looked like stumps rather than long, voluminous, fluttery, curly eyelashes!! I also experienced a lot of flaking and smudging. All in all, I would definately not re-purchase this product.

Concealers -Maybelline - Dream Lumi Touch

Wow!!!! This is the best concealer I've ever used!!!! This conceals my very dark undereye circles like no other, and that's hard to do, because mine are bad. I got it primarily for undereye cirlces, but it does cover blemishes fairly well. I also found that it makes a great eyeliner/eyeshadow primer, so that is a plus!! The price is fine: $7.99 at Walgreens. I think I'd be more enthusiastic about the price (considering this is such an amazing product!), but there's not much concealer in the stick. Also, when you twist the bottom to get the concealer come out, sometimes it takes 7 or so clicks for it to come up to the brush, and then it's just too much and it goes to waste :( But overall, this an awesome concealer, I recommend it to anyone and everyone! P.S. I buy it in the shade of Beige :)

Eyeliner -Almay - Liquid Eyeliner

Okay, so before even reading this, let's just remind ourselves that we are talking about LIQUID EYELINER. Liquid eyeliner, no matter what, is always a pain to work with. But, in some very rare cases, you come across a decent liquid eyeliner that just clicks for you. This is one of those products. I use brown eyeliner, because I find black to be too harsh for my skin tone and eye color. I really like this liquid eyeliner, because the color is very rich, the staying power is AMAZING, and it is fairly water proof. I didn't give it five stars because the applicator can fray at the end, making it even more difficult to get a clean line. I also found that when you first use it, it kind of burns, but that didn't seem to cause an apparent problem, so don't let that deter you from buying this otherwise awesome product!! :)

Mascara -Almay - One Coat Mascara (Thickening)

This mascara is a no-mistake mascara (meaning that it'll only become mistake-prone when it becomes dried out). It does a very good job at defining and seperating each lash, so you could practically count each of your eyelashes. As for what it claims, which is "one coat" and "thickening", I'm pretty sure all Almay mascara owners know that none of their mascaras are one coat, so don't make that your expectation. It thickens beautifully, though! This is not the kind of mascara for a person who wants dramatic, false-lash look lashes. I think the most problematic thing about this product is that it dries out fairly quick, so you'll have to buy it more often, but the price is so good, it won't put a dent in your budget that much. Also, it's gloppy at the end of the wand, so you have to wipe the excess off at the rim of the mascara bottle or with a tissue. I like how the wand is small, so you can reach the inner eyelashes. This is a wonderful mascara and I HIGHLY recommend it!!
