Can no one read the label? USE ON DAMP HAIR! And no, it doesn't "foam", if you rub it fiercely, the oil breaks down and that is it.. If you use on dry hair (which is not recommend) it acts like a fixing spray, so yeah people, your hair is slick and crunchy! D'uh. This really works wonders when used properly. I had totally fried my hair with bleach and dyes, this did the trick! It is no miracle though and the results show with time (I'd say about 2-3 weeks of using it regularly) but I find my hair gets better and better. It's really shiny and manageable (yay!) . My hair has finally regained some strength yet feels incredibly lightweight. When my hair is damp, I just drop a quarter-size amount in my hand, gently warm it up rubbing my palms together and apply on the ends. I wrap my hair in a towel, let it dry while combing from time to time to even the distribution of the product, et voila!

As so many reviwers have described, this color is lovely (I find the toothpaste comparison very fitting) but the formula is one of the worst ever! It is streaky and poorly pigmented yet pasty! Go figure out! You'll need a good 3-4 coats to achieve bottle color and I would suggest to wear it without a base coat (works best for me).
