Oh, Dazzlelight.. my first ever MAC eyeshadow, way back from my sophomore year of high school. Its a pretty, pearly white color and i finally hit pan on it a few weeks ago but honestly...i wont be repurchasing. Dont get me wrong, its a great color for highlighting, blending, and inner v. The only reason i wouldnt repurchase is because i recently discovered and fell in love with Nylon, which i like bettter because of it's frosty finish and brighter color pay-off (:

Eyeliner -MAC - Fluidline Eye-Liner Gel in Blitz and Glitz
rated 5 of 5

This is my go-to eyeliner, i use it every day (: It goes on smoothly and is easier to apply than the liquid liner from MAC. Its not too black, more of a soft black with shimmer. In my experience, does not smudge easily or fade. My only complaint is that when applied to the lash line, it does smudge a tiny bit, giving me a slight raccoon eye. This is easily solved with a Q-tip and a bit of oil though, so its definitely worth it! Its a bit pricey too, since the pot is so small, but a little goes a long way, and like i said, its a great quality eyeliner so its worth it! I will definitely re-purchase (:

Eye Shadow -MAC - Woodwinked - veluxe pearl

Two words: LOVE. IT. <3 This is the only eyeshadow (besides Dazzlelight) ive EVER hit pan on. I bought it in September, and by early December i had hit the pan (: Honestly, its one of my favorite eyeshadows, i reach for it almost everyday. I love the soft, buttery texture. Its very easy to work with, it compliments my skin tone ( NC-35/40 with a tan) and makes my eyes stand out (light brown). I adore the shimmery metallic finish, i thought it was a frost when i first swatched it! It's versatile and goes with many different colors. I love it over the Bare Study paint pot, with Sumptuous Olive in the crease, Club to deepen the crease, Carbon in the outer v, and Jest as a highlight/blend (: I will definitely repurchase this one, and i highly recomment it, especially if you have a warm complexion or green/brown eyes.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Embark eye shadow
rated 3 of 5
Elxsa 12/28/2011 12:18:00 AM

Ehh...i have mixed feelings about Embark as an eyeshadow color. It was recommended to me by a MA at the Macy's MAC counter when i asked about a nice, rich matte drk brown shadow for neutral smokey eyes. It looked great when i swatched it at the store, but once i used it i have to say i was a little disappointed ;/ it applied unevenly and the texture was a little hard to work with. eh, mabe its just me. I considered taking it back, but i found a new function for it... EYEBROWS :D it looks great on my eyebrows, not too dark but it does add a little hint of color (: If i ever run out of it, i would repurchase.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Carbon
rated 3 of 5

i love that this eyeshadow is so blend-able, if thats even a word. (: and i love the intensity of the color, its a nice rich black, unlike some other black eyeshadows ive tried that look dark in the pan but faded and washed out once applied. great for a smoky eye, and it goes with pretty much any color combination. greens, purples, blues, grays, browns, golds, pinks, everything (: very versatile color. HOWEVER....huge amounts of fall-out! i hate fall out!! hate it. thats why i knocked off 2 lippies. i wouldnt re-purchase only because i will probably never run out (at least not anytime soon) and if i did run out, id probably want to try typographic or another black MAC shadow.
