When I first used this mascara I thought it was on of the worst that I had ever tried. Though maybe I had unrealistic expectations due to the brand and price. Regardless, this product clumped my long lashes together and it ended up flaking and smearing by then end of the day. It also was hard to remove, even with a proper eye make-up remover. Not impressed at all. After a few days of use I discovered that the brush holds too much product and if I removed some of the excess before applying the results where better. Still won't be buying again, though.
This is my absolute favorite mascara. I stumbled upon it in a Tarte sampler and was extremely impressed. As soon as the sample ran out I went to Ulta to buy the real deal, almost didn't when I saw the price, then figured it was worth it. So glad I did! I have really long lashes and this product does an amazing job of accentuating the length while adding volume. There is no clumping, no flaking, it doesn't smear or smudge. When my last tube ran out, Ulta happened to be out of stock. I purchased a Lancome mascara instead (even more expensive than Tarte) and it made me realize how great the Tarte product is. Because the Lancome was so pricey I felt the need to use it all, but once it was gone I was back to Lights, Camera, Lashes. It really is fantastic.
When I first walked up to the Lancome counter last week, this perfume was everywhere and I thought it was extremely unpleasant. When I saw the salesperson drop a sample into my bag as I made my purchases I thought, "never gonna wear it." I did give it a try it when I got home and I am so glad I did. This must be a perfume that really reacts differently to each person's chemistry. It isn't overly sweet on me, and is just a really lovely scent. It also lasts for ages. I haven't purchased a traditional perfume in years, but I think I'll head back and buy a bottle.
I love the scent of orange blossom and orange blossom products, so when I found this perfume at Lush I was extremely excited. I bought the solid perfume and as soon as I got home I dabbed it on my pulse points. Something immediately seemed a bit off. After a few days I realized that the scent reminded me of sunblock. Not a bad scent, just an odd association that I didn't want to have with my perfume. I ended up pitching it. Next time I head into Lush I'll give the spray a shot and see if it makes a difference.
