Lip Treatments -eos - Lip Balm Sphere - Strawberry Sorbet

I'm a little surprised to see that this product isn't rated 4 or higher, but I think that all comes down to personal preference. I am very happy with this product. It's the perfect consistency - not as thick as Chapstick, but thicker than the Blistex I was using. It's not at all sticky, it smells awesome, and has pretty good staying power even while drinking. The packaging is adorable, and I love that it stays closed - I am forever losing the tops to my Chapsticks as they bounce around in my bag. Plus the product doesn't get gunked around the inside of the cap at all. Price is where it gets a rating of 4 as opposed to 5. I assume that it will last longer than traditional lip balms because of it's size, but at 2.99 a pop you can get three Chapsticks for that price, and I doubt it is worth that much. I am in no way saying it's expensive, because it obviously isn't, but I am addressing value. Overall I am really happy, happier with this lip balm than any other, and I will be stocking up!

Blush -NARS - Deep Throat
rated 5 of 5

My previous HG blush, Ulta in Afterglow, was only HG due to color, not staying power. I've heard rave reviews for years about NARS blush in Orgasm, but found it much too sparkly for me, especially now that I am in my 30s. A friend recommended NARS blush in Deep Throat and I'm so glad I listened! It's the perfect peachy-pink for my NW15/20 skin tone and not too shimmery at all, although it isn't flat/matte by any means. One small swipe with the brush gives the perfect amount of color and it lasts all day. I'm very impressed! A little pricey, sure, but well worth it since I think it will last me months.

Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel
rated 5 of 5

Despite the great reviews, I was hesitant to try this product because I had a very bad reaction to Clinique's All About Eyes eye cream a few years ago. I received this (along with the face wash and clarifying lotion for skin type 3) as a free sample when I ordered from Sephora, so I gave it a try. For reference, I have combination skin. My cheeks are normal and my t-zone gets very oily by 12pm. I applied this around 7am and for some reason, my skin was significantly less oily at 12pm than usual! It went on very smoothly, absorbed super fast, and felt great on my skin. It has only been a couple of days since I first began using it, so i hope to come back and add to the review, but so far I am very happy. UPDATE: It has now been three weeks since I started using this product. I can't believe I am saying this - I am a HUGE skeptic - but my skin actually looks younger and smoother. I can see a very big difference on the days I forget to apply this moisturizer - my skin is dull and my t-zone, especially my nose and between my brows, gets oily within a few hours. This almost completely prevents excess oil on my skin, save for a tiny bit on my forehead midday that requires minimal blotting. The best part? Not a single breakout on my very acne-prone and sensitive skin. I'm totally in love with this moisturizer and just ordered a full sized bottle today!
