Hair Color -Garnier - Nutrisse Permanent Creme Hair Color

I just dyed my hair last night using #63, "Cafe Latte" and I loooove the results! My hair is a light auburn naturally but I periodically have it coloured 1-2 shades darker at my salon using a demi-permanent by Matrix - for about $60 each time! I love saving money where I can, so at $10 a box this is significantly cheaper. Only one downside is that with the length of my hair (just below my bra clasp on my back) I needed about 1 and a half boxes to fully saturate my hair, and my hair is pretty thin! This morning my hair is a very soft & shiny medium/dark auburn. It looks like a warm medium brown inside, but under the light & outside in the sun you can see all the warm tones of red. It is not golden or brassy at all. Unlike the other reviewers I do not feel that this colour ran darker than the box suggests & red hair is very porous. I will have to update this review in a few weeks to see how well it fades, but if all goes well I am planning to purchase this again.

Lipstick -Revlon - Matte lipstick in Mauve It Over

I agree with almost all the reviews on this product thus far - this is not MAUVE at all, but more of a natural, neutral flush colour... does that make sense? It has great pigment, very buildable, and it also has great staying power. My only hang-up with this lipstick is that it is very drying and so wearing lip chap or a moisturizing gloss over/under it is a must. It's moist right when it goes on and so application is a dream, but after a few minutes it starts to feel dry.

Primer/ Corrector -Smashbox - Photo Finish Light

This is my HG face product - I don't leave the house without it! First I apply my day face cream (with SPF) and then I apply this, and before it "sets" I apply my foundation with a foundation brush. My pores look so much smaller and my skin looks so smooth. I find that this product not only allows foundation/blush/highlighter to apply more smoothly but it also keeps them put all day long. I have also tried this product in the "corrective" green formula but IMO I did not notice much of a difference. You really only need a small amount of this primer, and when applied in a thin layer the green is not concentrated enough to visibly reduce redness. Additonally, I have tried the CoverFX primer, the QUO primer, the GOSH primer and the Revlon primer, and none work as well as this one. I will buy over and over and over again!

Polishes -Sally Hansen - Insta-Dri Nailpolish Colors

I loooove this nail polish! I have 5 different colours (so far): Rose-a-go-go, Blush Rush, Sonic Bloom, Beige Blast, and Racey Rouge. The brush is pretty big and it took me a little while to get the hang of it, but I love it now! All the colours are creamy and vibrant and have a great glossy finish, and after a week my mani still looks fresh. All the colours I have (minus Beige Blast) give great coverage, and I find 2 coats are perfect. I think this is a must buy, plus they are only about 5$ CND!

Lotions/ Creams -Avene - Akerat body care cream

This is the ONLY thing that has improved my KP.. and I have tried everything! My dermatologist put me on a mild dose of Acutane, then RetinA, I have used almost every BHA/ AHA/ Glycolic acid/ Lactic acid lotions that you can buy; I then tried a more holistic approach by manually exfoliating with a dry brush and moisturizing with coconut oil/grape seed oil/100% aloe vera.. and so many other products directed towards Keratosis Pilaris. That being said, this lotion is the only product to clear my KP, with as little maintenance as possible. I apply this before bed - because the cream is a little heavy and takes some time to fully absorb. This cream does not sting/tingle/smell like I experienced with many other KP lotions - I actually enjoy putting this on! Some reviewers have stated that this does nothing for long-term but I really disagree. If you have talked to a dermatologist/doctor, or even others who experience KP you will know that this is not a skin condition that can be "cured". It may improve, but until you "grow out of it" (as some doctors say can happen) you must attend to it. I have found though that after using this product after every shower for about a month I am now able to apply this only once or twice a week, and use regular lotion every other day(!) and my KP is still nowhere to be seen. I really recommend you try this lotion if you are experience moderate KP - it has changed my life!

Powders -Smashbox - Halo Hydrating Perfecting Powder

So I fell into the marketing hype for this product, especially because I have loved all other Smashbox products I have tried. It was love at first application for me, but there are many things working against this foundation, so I only gave it 2 lippies, and here’s why: Cons: No SPF Very, very expensive ($71 CND) Not noticeably moisturizing Very sheer coverage (may not be a con for all, but for $71 you may not have any money left to buy any concealer!) Pros: Fair is a perfect match for PPP skin Packaging is really nice & effective Gives my skin that little "something-something" that makes my complexion look smooth and dewy, and does not look "powdery" at all Overall, I enjoy this product and you don't need a lot of it so a little goes a long way, but I have to say that for the general public it is not worth the money - unless you can find it for half price somewhere like I have!

Cleansers -Avene - extremely gentle cleanser

I have PPP, very sensitive skin, that gets very, very dry in the winter months. My face would always be flushed after washing it, but I never even considered it could be due to rinsing with water! I squirt this cleanser onto a warm, damp face cloth and gently massage all over, then dampen the face cloth again and remove any excess. I have been using this for the past week and my skin does not flush anymore - at all! - plus my forehead isn't a big flaky mess like it usually is at this time of year.

Eyeliner -Smashbox - Jet Set Waterproof Eyeliner - Bronze

This is my HG eyeliner! As others reviewers have mentioned, the colour is not overly metallic or shimmery, its just a beautiful bronze brown with a copper tone. This was in a Smashbox set so it was essentially free, but I would have no problem paying full price in the future! It goes on so smoothly and stays put all day. Also, the bronze will pop almost any eye colour, especially blue. Too bad this is limited edition. Aside: this colour is very similar to Almays brown eye liner in the "blue eye collection" -but the Smashbox application and staying power is 100x better! - Plus, this product is CRUELTY FREE :-)

Lipstick -Cover FX - Cover Fx - Lip Fx

Finally I found my cruelty-free HG lip colour! I had previously been using Covergirl amazemint but they test on animals, so I needed to find something else! I bought the CFX product in Choral Chabis and its perfect.. both the treatment and the colour are very dewy and this colour brightens up my PPP complexion while still looking 100% natural, and not sticky what so ever... I have become a loyal CFX fan because their products are great.. and they are cruelty-free!!

Moisturizers -La Roche Posay - Rosaliac

I really like this so far, although I have only been using it for a week and so I don't notice any significant improvements. I love the texture of this cream & it really smooths out my cheeks which are prone to little bumps (Keratosis Pilaris). It kind of smells like cucumbers to me, although it is fragrance free. The only thing I would change about this moisturizer so far is add an SPF and while reading reviews on here it appears that there is another version with SPF so problem solved :) If you are prone to redness and have chronic tight/dry facial skin you should really try this out!

I LOVE this mascara! Its never clumpy and whenever I wear it people always think im wearing false eyelashes :) - also it holds a curl really well. The only reason I did not give this product 5 lippies is because it doesn't add much volume.

I can't believe that this product has such bad reviews! I purchased this shampoo because I love Kiss My Face skincare & the fact that the shampoo is organic and not tested on animals was a huge plus. After about a week of using this shampoo & conditioner I have to say my hair has never looked this good! It is so shiny and healthy - I have recieved so many complements & it's cheap to boot :)

I love this powder! I have very fair skin with golden undertones, but a little bit of redness/blotchiness on my chin & cheeks. I used to swear by Cover FX cream foundation but being a full-time student I really don't have much time to dedicate to my skincare. I slap on some facial cream, smashbox primer, and Benefit's Get Even power and my skin is beautiful!

I love this! This is my Holy Grail hair product. No matter what shampoo and conditioner I use in the shower, as soon as I towel dry my hair I spray some of this product in and comb through, leaving my hair to air dry. When my hair drys - WOW - suddenly my dry strands are silky smooth, bouncy, and shiny. I wish I found this product sooner but I had long been under the impression that this hair care line was soley for those with thinning hair (and my hair definatly isn't thin). I definatly recommend this product to others.

Yes,Yes,Yes!!!!! I LOVE this product, I think it has become my new HG conditioner, even thought it's a treatment I think I'll use this as my everyday conditioner. My coarse hair was completely transformed after just one use; I never thought that I could have silky,smooth, frizz-free hair because I color my hair and use a flat iron often: I thought I just had to lay off the heat styling and wait for my damaged hair to grow out..but I was wrong! This conditioner made my hair so healthy looking and managable.. I will never waste my money on hair serums, masks, or leave-in products again! I will be stocking up on this product!
