Treatments -Biore - Ultra Deep Cleansing pore strips

This is THE BEST strips I have ever used. Forget Ponds, forget the original Biore, buy the ULTRA! For some reason it grabs more crap in your nose. I use this once a week at night so by the time I wake up my pores have closed up and applying makeup would look better. I always use this after a hot shower. Use an exfoliating scrub on your face to help open your pores. Apply the strip with DRY hands and dab it on a few times (not too much or the water will seep through and ruin your strip). Get out of the hot steamy bathroom and go into a room that is cold and dry. Let it dry for 15 minutes (I usually sit in front of a fan) - it needs to feel like dry paper mache!! If you leave it on for more than 20 minutes, it won't work. If you take it off before 15 minutes, it won't work. As soon as it COMPLETELY dries, TAKE IT OFF. Don't wait! :) It takes practice finding out how much water is needed on your nose, how many "squishes" you do against your nose to make sure the strip is patted down real good... But you will see that this DOES get crap out. I wish I could post a picture here but that would be weird.... Trust me on this. :-)

I love this- it's not what I would put on the apples of my cheeks, but definitely a great contouring blush. it's more of a bronzer but very very natural. Love this.

Blush -Everyday Minerals - Evening Out

I love this!! I love any of the pinky-brownish-natural looking blushes. It looks great on my Medium Beige Neutral (beige) foundation. (I'm Sunkissed Fair in the winter and it looks good too!) I need a new blush brush because the Angled Blush Brush from EDM is seriously picking up WAY too much. That's aside the point I guess. If you apply it right it won't be too dark. My other favorites are Waffle Cone, Snuggle, & Back to School.

I LOVE Pure Seduction. If you like Sweet Temptation and Love Spell you might like this even more! I'm 22 and my sister is 29 and these are our favorite garden scents!

This is one of my favorite VS scents. I'm a fruity sweet kind of girl so this really does it for me. I like this one and Pure Seduction and Love Spell.

I'm 22 and have liked this since I was 19.. I don't see anything wrong with it EXCEPT that all guys are familiar with it. Everyone knows it- I always get asked if that's Love Spell. But I like it, and a lot of others still like it. I'm a fruity, citrusy, sweet kind of girl. I HATE floral scents. If you like the smell of grapefruit, which this reminds me of, then you would like this. I do prefer however the Pure Seduction or Sweet Temptation over this.

Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Sexy Little Things perfume

I'm 22 and got this perfume as a sample in a clearanced Christmas set last year. I can't get enough of this! I LOVE sweet fruity fun scents so this did it for me! It's sweet but not childish. My boyfriend loves this on me so that's a plus! I hate floral scents because I think of older women/grandmothers so if you want something sweet and sexy I would recommend Sexy Little Things.

Fragrances -Elizabeth Arden - Curious by Britney Spears

This was my absolute FAVORITE when I was 19.... I am 22 now and I just pulled out the bottle and still like it! It's not over powering and sickening. I don't like Britney but this is my favorite perfume from her line. My only complaint is the large bottle that has the Atomizer (the squeezable puff thingie). The atomizer has destroyed the scent of the perfume! For some reason the perfume changes color and the scent changes to a nasty dirty flowery scent. It's sickening! I recommend you buy the smaller bottles WITHOUT the atomizer. The press button makes the stuff last longer. I'm growing out of this a LITTLE bit - as I've moved on to Sexy Little Things by VS. But when I pull it out, I like it all over again.

Self Tanners -Nature's Gate - Upper Tanagement Self-tanning Creme [DISCONTINUED]

I have tried many department store tanners and never paid attention to the ingredients until now. I researched more natural self tanners on Makeupalley and ran into Nature's Gate self-tanner. Like others, I love that it is paraben free. The color is pretty nice! The trick is to apply regular lotion on your ankles, knees, elbows, and knuckles before applying the self tanner. Nature's Gate tanner has a slight color to it so you can see where you are applying it - thumbs up for that. I always apply this on at night and give it 10-12 hours to soak in. It does have a funky stink but not as bad as department store tanners. I wouldn't go out in public with this self tanner on b/c of the distinct smell. Just take a shower that night, exfoliating your skin, get out and dry off, apply lotion on your ankles/knees, apply the self-tanner all over, let it dry for about 5 minutes, WASH your hands :) and get dressed. I usually wear shorts and a tshirt (loose clothing) to avoid messing up the tanner. The tan DOES develop within 2-3 hours but it's deeper when you leave it on longer. When I wake up the next morning, I shower (to get rid of the smell), and I use my loofa to gently exfoliate my skin, focusing more on my ankles and knees where I don't want it to be dark. When I get out of the shower, my legs and the rest of my body look great!! This tan usually lasts about 3-5 days on me, so I would recommend applying it once every few days. If you want a deep dark tan, you might want to apply it 2 days in a row, and once every few days. I've never tried to obtain a deep tan so I wouldn't really know for sure. I usually shave that morning when I wash off the self tanner and that has no effect on the results/or streaking. Shaving every day though may wear off the tanner faster. This is not the cheapest tanner but if you're learning towards a more natural way to tan (and less risky way) - try Nature's Gate upper tanagement. I got 3 bottles from Whole Foods/Harry's Market, and b/c they didn't have it in stock, the employee was able to order me some!

Shampoo -Head and Shoulders - Intensive Solutions 2in1 for Normal Hair

I am a 22 yr old female and stole this from my dad a few yrs ago and keep coming back to this when I need a good clean scalp. I wouldn't consider myself to have a dandruff issue, but if my hair gets super oily (which it easily does) then this stuff does the trick. It works awesome for my dad who does have dandruff, and my sister too who suffers the worst case. the only reason I took off one lippie is because of the ingredients. I don't use this on color treated/highlighted hair very often b/c it can take out the color due to the Sulfates. There is also hydrogen peroxide as one of the last ingredients...hmmm?? I am trying to find a more natural shampoo that cleans hair without stripping color in the future. If you're not concerned about that, this is the greatest shampoo for dandruff control!

Shampoo -Suave - Daily Clarifying Shampoo

This is GREAT and it actually leaves my hair soft but fluffy. My hair gets oily super easily and this leaves my hair feeling soft for a longer time. I almost didn't wash my hair today because it was still really clean feeling from when I washed it yesterday. My scalp does not itch and I don't get dandruff from this. I'll update as the week goes on but so far I love it. Dirt cheap too!

This is great if you want to stay away from Benzoyl Peroxide - which not only bleaches everything, but is actually BAD for your skin too. and believe me I have used benzoyl peroxide cream for YEARS because it worked fast, but when I read up about it I knew I needed to change. I discovered the Collective Wellbeing line on makeupalley and decided to buy it at my local Whole Foods. I got the Change for the Better kit and the night treatment is AWESOME - it WORKS, it does NOT burn your skin or dry it out!! No more peeling or redness when you wash it off in the morning. The only time I have acne is during that one time of the month, which no product has ever stopped. But for the other 24 days this stuff is awesome. Natural and gentle and I don't have to worry about the condition of skin looking worse as I get older.

Scrubs -Collective Wellbeing - Hot Pore Warming Pore Cleansing Scrub

I love this scrub! I also use the Change for the Better kit by Collective Wellbeing but when I ran out of the face wash I decided to pick this one up instead. I LOVE the beads and it really does clean! My two zits have cleared up really fast in the past day. I hear the charcoal body wash it excellent too which I will buy next (especially for the minor problems on my back). Great stuff.

This is the only acne kit that has ever worked without the use of benzoyl peroxide. I am really excited that I found the reviews on here, because I had no idea this even existed!! All the tiny bumps are gone, and my acne stays at bay when I use the whole system every day. 30 bucks isn't bad because these products DO last a while. I bought my first kit 2 months ago and there's still a lot left. I use a pea size amount of the face wash and it lathers really well. The day cream is great under my Everyday Minerals makeup. The night cream keeps pimples at bay -- tip: PAT IN the night cream so it doesn't leave a white film on your face. :) Thank you Collective Wellbeing!!! I am now officially off my Ampicillin prescription, and $90 worth of other prescriptions!!!!!! :-D Find this at your Whole Foods or other natural food store, or order it from their website.
