@Post below: Please write perfume reviews for a living <3 Sampled this in the store. Very creamy, chill, vanilla scent. Absolutely delicious! My favorite of the poisons,
Wow a 2 rating from below on this polish is extremely unfair. If it doesn't go with your skintone, that is not the fault of the polish.
Formula is smooth, and lasts a very long time (Zoya polishes tend to last a week on me, I'm on day 3 and not even tip wear). Takes 2 coats to reach best opacity. Would recommend!
Formula is great; especially for China Glaze. Typically CG is too thick for me and is difficult to work with after a few manicures, but that problem does not occur with this.
I never rate based on how much I like the color, but I just want to warn girls with warm skintone like me that this shade is no good on it. If you typically look ghastly in greens, you might want to skip this. This is a blue with a VERY GREEN base (teal)
I have warm, medium skin and this polish looks pretty good on me. I think this color is funky enough to be different but by no means over the top. I had application issues with the first coat, but the second coat smoothed everything out. Polish is on the thick side for essie.
Guilty Pleasures is so pleasurable to work with! A no qualm formula... on the thin side but not runny... no streaks, perfect! This is a hot pink jelly.
See sheer is one of my favorite lipsticks of all time. It's a really pretty not-too-bright coral shade. Wear time is a little quick (2-3 hours on me) however it's very comfy to wear.
I wouldn't classify Carousel Coral as a coral: It has almost no detectable red or orange tones. Instead, it's more of a brown based pink. Super duper flattering, I could see this working on every skin tone. (I'm light/medium neutral leaning warm and this looks fab on me!)...Quality is typical essie. Once you get use to the brush, the application is pretty great!
Perfect formula, no complaints!
This nail polish is really good quality. However, it is very sheer and will require quite a few layers for optimal opacity. HOWEVER if you look like me (Black hair, light medium warm skin) it might look horrible on you. Makes my hands look old and yellow. Gross.
////////////EDIT///////////// Looks much better with a tan. And in case you are wondering, it looks okay with a ring but not amazing. My stone looks slightly yellow under certain lights however this polish pulls the yellow away and makes it look white.
Formula is perfect on this one: not too thick, not too thin. Really pretty in the sunlight and plays very classy with my engagement ring. Wears well, highly recommended.
There are *so* many red cremes out there, please consider looking for something else. This polish looks super gloppy on fingers, very difficult to get even. Wear time is typical essie, ymmv.
Would most likely to be great for a summer pedi. I put this one this morning and did some household chores during the night( laundry, dishes, etc), and found that the polish on my right hand had substantial chipping on several fingers. -GORGEOUS- polish though, it's a neon that dries matte with a semi jelly finish.
Great for healthy looking nails. This will take about four coats to have a jelly like semi-opaque finish. Typical essie quality.
You definitely need to master a sort of technique with this one. Have a lot of polish on your brush, and quickly paint your nail with it: else, polish begins to dry while you paint and leaves a very nasty textured finish. Color is awesome and true, however I wouldn't wear this if you like the elegant look. The texture gives it sort of a "younger" appeal. Matte
Zoya Cassi is a warm peachy-pink with yellow shimmer. Formulation is pretty good: thick, no streaks, and fast drying. Two coats should be good enough but 3 coats are required for total opaqueness.
