So I swapped for this. I wasn't sure whether or not I'd like it, based on some of the reviews, but I love it! On me, PPP/NW20, it's similar to NARS Orgasm, but more golden and less peach. I really like it for the warmer weather as just a dusting gives me a nice healthy glow. I even got asked if I had been tanning when I wore it the other day. I am surprised as well that this isn't a more popular shade. I think its the perfect summer blush/highlighter. Would repurchase, won't be swapping away.
Lip Treatments -Maybelline - Baby Lips - Coral Crush
Dragun 5/11/2013 7:34:00 PM
I already own the clear Baby Lips and I love it for it's softness, it's lasting effects, and it's low price point. But when I saw Coral Crush I HAD to have it. I am NW20/PPP and I knew it would give me a perfect kiss of coral color while making my lips what else -- baby soft!! :) Definitely would repurchase, so worth it!
Lipstick -Unlisted Brand - Snog Cosmetics Color Stick for Lips in Carousel
Dragun 5/5/2013 6:25:00 PM
I RIS this color stick for lips.I couldn't find any reviews, so here we go: On the website SnogCosmetics dot com, the Color Stick for Lips is $8.00, comparably priced to the Cover Girl lipstains. The shade I received was Carousel which isn't described on the site, but on my lightly pigmented, white-girl lips, it shows up a bright rosy pink, with a bit of shimmery, sort of pearly finish. It feels good going on, and stays quite a good while. The really cool part to me though, is that when it fades down to where I can no longer feel it, the color and shimmer are still there! That's so lovely in a lip color, stain or not. There's no messy sharpening involved, it twists up just like Tarte and Revlon's stain sticks. I would absolutely purchase this again, and I plan to go through the site to see what other goodies I can discover. The company appears to be new, so maybe they're doing something different. At least they already are with the Color Stick for Lips. You should try one!!
Lipstick -Revlon - Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain - Charm
Dragun 4/21/2013 8:46:00 PM
I swapped for this, after reading the reviews. I was really surprised by how nude it actually goes on. I am NW20 with lightly pigmented lips, and this goes on a soft, peachy nude for me. Once the balm has worn off, and I can no longer feel it, I get a really flattering rosy-peach stain that lasts a good while. If I layer the pencil again once the stain has set, I get an even longer lasting, stronger colored stain. The slight minty scent reminds me of Tarte's but not as strong. I would love to try other colors, will repurchase.
Cleansers -Josie Maran Cosmetics - Argan Cleansing Oil
Dragun 1/6/2013 8:18:00 PM
I got this in a Kat Von D pouch filled with samples as part of a Sephora christmas order, so I can't speak to price or size, only my experience. I've loved DHC Cleansing OIl for years, and hadn't tried anything else, except pure EVOO, so I was excited to try something different. I used it the first time with a full face of makeup. I was stunned at the consistency, it was like cold honey and so very sticky. But, after working it into my skin as best I could, then scrubbing with a terry cloth, I got really, really clean, soft, skin. The results rivaled DHC, and, my eyes weren't blurred afterward, a pesky side effect of DHC's product. Then I read the reviews here and saw that I'm not the only one a little freaked out over the stickiness. I used it a second time on a makeup free face and was even more impressed with its cleaning ability. For reference I am an NW20, pale, with freckles, hormonal breakouts and large pores. My skin was again soft, but the annoying clogged pores looked less so. Would purchase this product in the future, although I'd continue to use a different product to remove eye makeup so I don't have to tug on that delicate skin.
Fragrances -2 Grrrls - Forsaken EDP inspired by True Blood
Dragun 12/28/2012 4:37:00 PM
So it has been after wearing this several times that I've been able to really appreciate it. The initial notes to me, aren't so much berry, as I get a hugely floral hit, followed by sort of an apple scent. This would be in keeping with information in the books this series is based on, where fairies smell like apples a bit. There is a bit of blackberry, but it's not screaming "berry" at me, more fruity in general. The middle notes still have a fruity undertone, the plum, but then the floral picks up and it begins to warm. The base note of patchouli isn't overwhelming, as patchouli can be, but more of a dark, musky, undertone. The other base notes are very warm, and still sweet. On the sweetness throughout, it isn't candy sweet. It's more fruity and less sugary. I am thrilled with the bottle design, and as a Truebie, happy to have another piece of True Blood memorabilia. Overall, I had hoped for something much darker, a 'la Dawn Spencer Hurwitz' Halloween or Cathedral, with musks and spice. At USD59.50 on hsn, the 1.7 oz. EDP is not a bad value, I would repurchase.
Got this as part of a Sephora order, but it's not my first rodeo with UD eyeshadows. This is my first time with Strip and I adore it. I see purple and blue tones in the grey/silver. It's a really unique shade. Fun for highlights on smokey eyes, or as a base for something like M.A.C. Moth Brown. It glides on, has decent pigmentation, and I got it on sale at Sephora! Like all UD, cute packaging and great product names. Would repurchase.
Lip Treatments -Fresh - Sugar Rose Lip Treatment SPF 15
Dragun 11/2/2012 8:15:00 PM
I received this as part of a Sugar Kisses Mini Lip Duo as a Bday pressie from Sephora. See my other review for the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment. This is the same, smooth, moisturizing lippie as it's sister, Fresh Sugar, but it has a light rose tint. It's lovely on my pigmented lips, but I would like a shade more tint. Because I got it as a mini set, I can't speak to the price, or to the design of the full sized tubes, but one of my favorite things about this is that the cap screws on. A solution to a constant problem in my bags wherein the cap and the lippie break up without telling me. Overall, a nice little balm with a hint of color and a smooth moisture. I would repurchase.

I received this as part of a Sugar Kisses Mini Lip Duo as a bday pressie from Sephora. See other review for the Rose Lip Treatment SPF 15. I've used Fresh Sugar before, and this is a great little mini to stash in the smallest of bags. The coolest part is the screw top so they don't lose each other in my bag. Fresh Sugar is citrusy, clean and sunshine-y smelling to me. It smooths on easily and last a good long time if I don't eat or drink too much. My lips stay in pretty good shape, considering the dry, cold climate I live in. Overall, a great product. I would repurchase
Lip Treatments -Tokyo Milk - Dark Lip Elixir in Salted Caramel
Dragun 11/2/2012 5:23:00 PM
I got this as part of a bday gift card purchase at Sephora.com. I had been eyeing it for some time, and the gift card came at just the right time. For $7USD, I got an enormous tin. It's lovely to look at, black and floral. The scent is incredible. It's very difficult not to lick my lips. The moisturizing properties are nice, it's smooth to apply and stays on well. Even when its worn off, my lips feel smooth. No easy feat in the cold, dry environment I live in. I did take off one because I despise sticking my finger in products, but I would repurchase it.
Gels/Soaps -Unlisted Brand - Salus - Shampoo/Body Wash in Chocolate
Dragun 2/25/2012 9:40:00 AM
Salus is a local company that has a national site, shopsalusdotcom. They have a store close to me, and I've been in there for soaps but this time I decided to go for a body wash since my xmas philosophy washes are nearly gone. One of the cool things about Salus product is that you can pick your scent, much the way the old The Body Shop used to be. Since it was my first time picking a scent, I went for a single note I always love - chocolate. I chose the Silky Soft 2-in-1 Shampoo & Body Wash for around $14USD. The sales associate asked if I preferred it strong or lightly scented. I told her very strong, go nuts! She laughed and did just that. While the gel is pearly white, the smell is all cocoa baby!! I love it. 100% of Salus' products are paraben free. They also have sulfate free products available, and their base products do not contain phthalates. If any of these things are a concern, the site has a wonderful FAQ. The employees are friendly and helpful. The environment is very hands on, and I feel like I have a body wash equal to philosophy, except I can change the scent on my next visit. I'm thinking of adding coffee......
Candles -Unlisted Brand - ScentSei by MasterOfScents Tarts - Any scent
Dragun 2/25/2012 9:31:00 AM
I've twice purchased from this company. I found them by hovering round the Bath board. Their products are incredible!! For $30.00USD, I get 10 tarts of my choice, priority shipping included, from their terrific and growing list. That's a fantastic deal! Before I moved to a new state, I bought my tarts through a local antique shop. They were the only other option besides the Wal - Mart stocked BH&G and Scensationals. Both Wally World brands run $1.50/6 cube pack. The small business ones I was buying at the antiques shop were $4.95/6 cube pack!! :O However, they almost always had better throw, and nicer choices. When we moved, it seemed I was stuck with Wally Worlds options again until I tried this company: Master of Scents. When you break down the per pack price and add in Priority USPS, these little gems are $3.00/6 cube pack. That puts the price smack in the middle of my previous options/experiences. But these tarts, oh these tarts. Back years ago, there was a company named PanhandlePotions that I bought tarts from, and some of her creations made my two story house smell great for days! Not since that company folded have I found such a fantastic throw in a tart. I am in love with Hippie Dreams, which smells just like the music festivals we sometimes attend. The Chocolate Truffle kills me! How can that NOT be edible?? Today, my smaller home is sporting two cubes of Tuscan Sunset and the whole place smells like sweetness, warmth, oranges and limon. Well worth it, great people. I will repurchase as long as I can!
Fifth review of this line. This is a really great choice. It's soft, sweet and evolves (revolves?) between soft vanilla and sweet sugary caramel. Good throw. Worth many repurchases.
Candles -Unlisted Brand - Better Homes and Gardens Wax Tart (6 pc) Baked Apple Strudel
Dragun 1/18/2012 10:05:00 PM
Fourth review in this line. The apple scent is sweet and fairly dominant. There's also occasional whiffs of sweet vanilla pastry. While I would prefer this tart to have a greater throw, it's nice and I have purchased it repeatedly.
Candles -Unlisted Brand - Better Homes and Gardens Wax Tart (6 pc) Cinnamon & Spice
Dragun 1/18/2012 10:02:00 PM
Third in a series of this product. The cinnamon really comes on strong in this one. It's my go to when company is coming, because it has a massive throw. There are slight hints of other spices, but cinnamon is this one's hallmark. Have repurchased many times.
