I have sensitive dry skin. It made my face itch right after washing it. I tried it for another week, and it continued. I threw it out and went back to my old face cleanser and the itching went away. Will not repurchase.

I didn't think I would like this since there is so much hype about this. I love the color though and it looks better after a couple hours. It does not last a full 8 hours though but it is still a beautiful color for brown eyes

Eyes -Tarte - skinny smolder eyes waterproof eyeliner

This is supposed to be the "skinny" version of smolder eyes. Let me first start off by saying I love regular smolder eyes. This is not the same formula. This eyeliner is way too soft and takes too long to set in comparison to the regular smolder eyes. I also started getting some itchiness and my eyelids were puffy after a couple hours of wear. I will not repurchase.

Polishes -Zoya - Willow

What is up with Zoya polishes being so streaky?? I got this and 2 other colors when they had their 3 free polishes and you pay for shipping last month. The 2 colors I've tried so far both are streaky. This is a pretty color but the streakiness is unbelievable. I even used a ridge filling base coat and it is still streaky. I will not be buying more Zoya!

I love this hand cream. It came in a set around Christmas time on QVC. I can't really describe the scent but it is pleasant and not overpowering. The regular argan oil breaks me out on my face, but this cream is so luxurious. It doesn't leave my hands greasy or dry. Most of Josie's products are overall very good. I sometimes add in a couple drops of the argan oil in with this moisturizer for extra hydration! I probably wouldn't repurchase it if it wasn't in a set due to it's cost, but it is amazing!

This cleansing oil is nothing like Shu's.. so if you like that oil, you should stick with it. I got this in a set with the argan oil and several other items. It has a citrus smell, and is very thick when applying it to my face. I accidentally got some in my mouth when I was washing it off, and it has a strange bitter taste. This product is a fail.. they should make a different cleanser that isn't so thick and unpleasant..

Lotions/ Creams -Josie Maran Cosmetics - Whipped Argan Oil Vanilla Fig Body Butter

I got this in a set through QVC. I personally would not buy this individually if it wasn't in a set since it is VERY expensive for what it is, especially since my main high end lotion is lóccitane which is also not cheap! Anyway, I've really gotten into JMC's line since buying some sets through QVC. Look out for them every couple months on their website. This lotion has a soft pleasing scent. Be careful not to put too much on or you will feel like there is a film on your body, although I also have the vanilla apricot version and I noticed it doesn't happen with that scent. It is whipped so the containers don't look jam packed with lotion. It hydrates well, and this is probably my most favorite body butter b/c of how light the texture is yet it moisturizes like a thicker body butter. It also helps that it is "natural." Would buy again in a set!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Honey Lust (Lustre)

Augh.. there is so much FALL OUT with this eyeshadow!!!! I thought it was me until I looked on here. I don't really want to have to apply it to something wet underneath to get it to stay. The color is too shocking for a daily look. Won't repurchase!!

Gels/Soaps -L'Occitane - Amande Cleansing and Soothing Shower Oil

I have become incredibly sensitive to strong scents with bath products (hello bath and body works!) as I have gotten older, and this is by far my new favorite "grown up" scent! I love the almond scent it has when I put it on in the shower, and after I wash it off, it leaves my skin soft and has a light fragrance! I got this in a set and first thought that I was never going to use it since I don't use body oils in the shower. You squirt some into your hands and start rubbing and it gets slightly warmer and becomes a milky cleanser! This stuff is not cheap, but a little goes a long way.

Bronzers -Too Faced - Milk Chocolate Soleil

I hopped on the Too Faced train after I was somewhat underwhelmed by NARS Laguna. I was trying to decide between the milk chocolate and regular chocolate soleil bronzer and chose the milk chocolate as I am NC25-30. I LOVE it. If I want to contour my cheekbones I just use a heavier hand. I will probably try the regular chocolate soleil one at some point too, but I figure between this and my NARS laguna, I would have a good shade selection for bronzing. I love that this has no shimmer unlike my NARS laguna. To me, this smells more like my favorite childhood candy Fun Dip than chocolate but either way, the smell isn't offensive and is sweet and lovely. Best bronzer!

Foundations -Tarte - Maracuja 6 piece color collection

This was a QVC TSV set in July. When I first got it, I wanted to try out the foundation, and the set was an amazing deal. I bought the color medium, not thinking much since I am a medium in their maracuja creaseless concealer and in their pressed powder. It is WAY too orange and dark on me. They have expanded the color range, but I tried warm beige and it was still too dark. I am NC25-30 FYI. I was willing to keep the set since I liked the maracuja oil in a roller ball, which itself was worth it for me in the set. The foundation brush is good and I see myself using it for foundation or as a blush brush. The lipsurgence lip shine is a very wearable pink. It is moisturizing. Love their lipsurgence sticks. The moderneyes eyeliner and eyeshadow stick is beautiful, but after a couple days of use, my sensitive eyes were stinging all day when I wore it and went away once I stopped. The gifted clay mascara reminds me of LCL mascara.. It is a decent mascara that doesn't seem too wet, so it doesn't uncurl my curled lashes which would otherwise be stick straight. All and all, it was a good set especially for the price... I just have sensitive eyes and my light yellow skin tone is also harder to match.

Makeup Brushes -Sigma - Essential Kit - Make Me Blush

The face brushes SHED like a mother and I've had them for years! I switched to Real Techniques powder brush and foundation brush due to all the shedding. Some shedding is normal, but I shouldn't have black hairs stuck to my face each time I use it! The eye brushes are overall good though. Buy the eye kit and then buy the face brushes from somewhere else!

The color is beautiful but it is too dark to use over the eye area for me. I have a lot of lid space since I have no crease, and it just looks too shocking on. It also doesn't dry evenly. Disappointed.

Liquid -Tarte - Maracuja Miracle 12-Hour Foundation- Medium

I bought the most recent QVC TSV set and this came in it. I am NC25-30 for reference, but have tanned over the summer. The color match is still a little off (on the darker end and orange colored next to my yellow undertoned skin) despite being tan, and I think there is a orange tint to it. I think maybe mixing a lighter foundation with it would work, but I don't think I want to spend the money to buy the light and mix them together. The light looks a little too light for me. The bottle was loose when I opened it and the whole jar opened and product leaked out when I pulled off the cap instead of just showing the pump. I noticed other people were saying the same thing. ***I tried warm beige and it is a closer match to my NC25-30 skin but makes me look too yellow. I'm not really sure what color would work for me. I'm going back to my other foundations.. It is too bad since there is maracuja oil in it which is amazing on its own but it seems like the color of this foundation is what is throwing a lot of people off!***

Powder -Bare Escentuals - Matte Foundation spf 15

I was planning to give this product a great review, but over a couple weeks, I was using a heavier hand in applying the product and noticed that my face looked abnormally yellow--I'm already warm toned so this was pretty excessive. I do like the finish, although can look chalky. I'm NC25-30 and bought light. The next color up is too orange for me. Photographs alright compared the the shiny face you get with the original. I will move onto another mineral powder and return this. May be worth it if you can find the right color for you.
