I bought KCCC a few days ago at Ricky's beauty supply in Manhattan and immediately rushed home to wash and twist my shoulder-length, color treated, natural hair. I first towel-dried my hair, and used DevaCurl's 'Set It Free' spray on leave-in conditioner, detangled with my Denman brush, and dipped my fingers slightly into this custard. The smell did not bother me..it smells sweet, which I like. The consistency also did not bother me...it didn't feel like 'gel'...So I proceeded to twist my hair damp and let air dry overnight. The next day, I took down my twists...no crunchiness and my twist out was very defined! My hair looks beautiful! I will be repurchasing when I run out!
I got this OPI nail polish free for a pedicure yesterday. I love the fact that this color is a very nice, bright pink on my NC45 coloring. It applied very smoothly, and the shimmer is very subtle and pretty for the summer. I love this on my toes, maybe I'll try it on my fingers next!
Styling Products -Carol's Daughter - Some of Marguerite's Magic

I purchased this product yesterday at a boutique that sells CD products...I wanted something that is very creamy and emollient that would moisturize my natural, color-treated hair. I used it yesterday and my hair is still feeling good! Usually my hair soaks up all the treatments, leaving it feeling dry again. Not this! I love the smell, texture, and creaminess of this hair product. I will continue to purchase it although it is kinda costly....
I got this stick foundation in a Stila kit that included two shades of the foundation, mascara, lipglaze, and illuminating tinted moisturizer. I got the 'dark' kit...the stick foundation came in shades g and h. The shade h is perfect for me! I use it basically for an undereye concealer and the coverage is great. It goes on creamy and the stick formulation is easy to use without tools. The shade g I will use this winter when my skin lightens up a bit.
I was at Target and wanted a nice, nearly nude but pink nail polish. I tried Essie's Mini How High and fell in love with it! I am of medium, caramel complexion and this pink shows up on me. I love it. Plus, it did not streak when I applied it.
I bought this at KMart a few weeks ago and have used it religiously for about 3 weeks. It is my new HG body wash. I had some rough patches on my body and after using this, my skin is soft and smooth all over. I love it! No other shower gel has done this much for me. I love the scent - kinda like creme brulee...brown sugar and vanilla, and it does linger a little bit. I also hope that Caress comes out with a matching lotion. I will be purchasing this again and again.
Bronzers -L'Oreal - True Match Super Blendable Bronze Glow

I have been looking for this everywhere in stores...had to buy off of ebay for very little money. I bought the C6-7-8 and used it with the True Match bronzing shimmer powder (also bought off ebay). I looked lovely! I had a beautiful bronze glow that looked very natural. I don't know if this is being discontinued, but this stuff works well for me. I used a make up brush to apply. No problems.
I bought this blush after reading so many good things about it here. I am a C7/NC45 and I read that this blush looks best on darker skin, so I tried it. I really like it! It gives a subtle, healthy glow to my cheeks and the gold sheen looks so youthful. I'm a little unsure what eye make-up to wear with this, though. I think a subtle and soft O Baby lip will look best on me, but what about eyes?
