This burnt my face and left behind a sticky residue, this is the second alcohol-free toner I've tried and had the same results: *still burns *more oily *sticky residue left behind

Powder -Clinique - Blended Face Powder and Brush

This product held my oil back longer than most powders I've tried. However after 2-3 hours it settles in my pores and smile lines and looked blotchy. I've done the 'rub down' with it and didn't like the results either. I think applying it with a brush is your best option. However I did like how soft my face was for the first hour and I love that it was only $24. I will be returning to my pressed lise watier powder that's $35 but holds my oil back all day with maybe blotting once.

Pressed Powders -New York Color - Pressed Face Powder

I will ALWAYS but this product! It is the best pressed powder I have ever tried! I didn't want to buy my mac blot powder and bought this on a chance. It works so much better than the mac powder and it was only 2.67! The only thing I didn't like about the powder was the packaging becasue once its dropped it completely shattered eveywhere! But for the price I don't mind at all. It hold oil very well.m I'd get shiny mid day put this on and then I'm oil free! :)

I LOVE LOVE this stuff! I have oily skin and I've been searching for years for a product that will stay on my face longer than 4 hours. I've tried all kinds of powders and primers and foundations and nothing worked... Untill I tried this! I DO NOT have acne but I get the occasional pimple.. Not anymore :) this stuff cleared the 2 that I had and I have not gotten anymore since I've started using this product but that's not all. This foundation stays on my face at least for 10 hours. I put it on at 9:30am and was outside in the heat sweating a little, went to work at 5 and when I got home at 10:30 it was still there! I did look a little shiny but I can live with that and a little powder made me look like I did in the morning. I will rebuy this untill its discontinued or I no longer have oily skin. Its amazing. You do need to set it with a powder though and I use a primer underneath it.

Toners -Clinique - Clarifying Lotion #2

I have very oil skin and I thought I should try the #r clarifying lotion but it burned my face. I waas told by the lady working the counter that this product isn't a toner but an exfoliator and if you don't exfoliate you need to start at the bottom and work your way up once the product doesn't seem to be working. The #1 did nothing for my skin but the #2 is perfect for now. I will re-purchase this untill it no longer works and wil have to buy the #3. The ppackaging is nothing special just a screw off cap and you have to use a cotton ball but it has really cut my oil down :) EDITTTT---- this made my face more oily and would be an oil slick after half an hour!!! Going back to my vichy toner!

I LOVE this! I bought it just to try something new and now I will never change it! Pros: Packaging has a pump and it locks for travel! Its only $20 for clear skin Doesn't cause breakouts Helps reduce oil Dries up and acne I have Doesn't dry out my cheeks Cons: This is for OILY skin ONLY it would be awful for dry skin you'd probably flake

Primer/ Corrector -Pur Minerals - Color Correcting Primer

I bought this because I can not find a good primer or concealer and its both... However, its super GREASY! Pros: The idea of the product is great The packaging is nice Cons: Very greasy feeling Didn't help with oil control at all Made my skin more oily My face was an oil slick after 2 hours Didn't help blur or conceal anything! Its $32 for something I will NEVER use again.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum Express The Falsies Flared

I love this stuff! I was using the falsies in the waterproof version before the flared came out and I liked it a lot but somedays it just didn't seem to hold up. I have been on the hunt for a mascara that makes my short lashes stand out and this does! I've treid all kinds of mascars and have paid up to $30 and had no results. I have not tried the flared in the waterproof yet but I'm sure I'll love it too. This is something everyone needs to try! Looks amazing. I do curl my eyelashes first because they are so short.

Toners -Clinique - Clarifying Lotion #3

I got a sample of this at one of the shows. I was told it would help control my oily skin, so I put my olay oil minizing toner away and tried it..... This clinique stuff BURNED my skin! As soon as I used it I felt my face was on fire and my whole face turned red and itchy. I had to rinse it off right away. I do not have sensitive skin so I would not reccomend this to anyone as my skin has never reacted with anything before. I'm highly disappointed but willk go back to my olay toner which was a fraction of the cost and works better.

I was told this would keep my foundation om my oily skin. However this just made my skin feel extremely oily before I even put foundation on! I tried it anyway and within 2 hours I had no makeup left at all! I couldn't believe this for $35 dollars! I would suggest this maybe if your skin is not oily at all but only maybe. Its quite expensive and the bottle sometimes let's too much out!

I have VERY short eyeelashies and would do anything to get long ones but I hate fake lashes. I bought this when I saw it on sale and decided to try it... I LOVED IT! I always curl my eyelashes put a layer on, curl and then put one last layer on. They make my lashes look amazing. My boyfriend even noticed the difference! I wore this when we went to cuba and one day we weren't suppose to be in the water so I coated it on. We ended up spending the day in the ocean, on banana boats and I even went down a water slide. I kept my sunglasses on for fear I looked like I had blackeyes. NOT AT ALL! Not a black trace to be found! When it does come off from too much water exposure it just disappears and at the end of the day you could still see my eyelashes! I will repurchase this forever!

Cleansers -Olay - Oil Minimizing Toner

I LOVE this! I have tried so many different toners to help with my oil skin and I have not found one. I have paid up to $45 for some and ended up making my skin more oily!!! This toner helps control any oil I have AND kills and occasional pimples I may get. It dries them up and they are gone in a day or two MAX! For about $10 at shoppers, how can you go wrong? I will never try anything else. Hope this never gets discontinued!

Liquid -MAC - Pro Longwear Foundation

I was suggested this product by a MAC salesperson. She said it would help my oily skin and leave my skin flawless... However it didn't help with my shine and it made my skin feel tacy or sticky after an hour of wearing it! For $35 this was not acceptable. I have used this on days when my makeup doesn't matter and have had the same bottle for 6 months now. I wouldn't reccomend this to anyone no matter what your skin type is. It also managed to dry out my oily spots really badly to the point I flaked!!!

Polishes -OPI - Black Shatter

I love this! I have used it on colours that I didn't like by themselves and I now love them! I have not tried it with any nail polish that wasn't OPI but I am thinking on it. You have to have a lot of polish on one side of the brush and do a quick sweep over your nail for it to shatter and not streak. A great way to touch up an old polish too just put on shatter and no one knows! One thing is your colour has to be completely dry first!
