Cheap drugstore foundation is always too good to be true. 3 bucks will buy you a bottle of this stuff. As far as color selection goes don't go looking for your shade if your darker then beige- they don't make them. Beige this or beige that, thats all they make. I got deep beige. It's also a thick consistancy that's hard to get out of the bottle. When applied it thins out so you will need a couple layers to really cover. Mine did oxidize. It went from a vanilla color to a tanning kinda product color once applied. Not for me. My pores looked huge and I only had applied a light mineral setting powder over it to minimize the semi-matte finish from the foundation. Pass.
This is from their recent fall line that just came out. At first glance it looks like a coral red but on it comes out a watermelon red. I like my reds a bright orange red but had decided to try something new. When I saw this I thought I was getting a color match for one of my beloved new favorite glosses revlons coral but alas it was not the color I had hoped it would be. Maybe it depends on your skins complexion what the tone will lean more towards but I didn't like how it looked on me. It's not bright red enough and not salmon/coral enough. It's too neutral for me, pass.
Eye Shadow -Revlon - Luxurious Color Diamond Lust - Night Sky #120

Sorry to have to be Debbie Downer but I did not like this eyeshadow at all. I truelly believe E.L.F.'s dollar quad in drama is way better as far as pigment go and the glitter. I used to use Hard Candys liqourice before the brand became a DS brand and it was an awesome black with silver glitter. Since it was discontinued years ago, I have tried to find a replacement and haven't came close to it. I do like elfs alot better than revlons e/s by far though and it gives you the option of keeping it lighter or making it darker with the four colors. Night sky had a ton of fall out and you can hardly see the color pigment in the actual color of the eyeshadow itself. It took me a while to find a walmart that carries the new line so I was excited when I had found it. I should have gone with my instinct and bought the all silver one or the pink purplish one. Darn, 5 bucks down the drain!
I really wanted to like this lipstick because I am obsessed with orange reds, but the shine is what I didn't like about it. I was hoping for something less shiny and a bit more sheer, if that makes any sense. Sorta like hard candys hot shot. This is definitely a "colorburst"! Tons of pigment. Since I have oily skin I prefer my red lipsticks on a more muted and matte level like macs lady danger.
A dusty rose color, very spring and bright pink. I like that the formula dries quickly and after it does it already has a top coat build in it that gives your nails a nice shine. Took a couple coats to get the desired color. I like the overall design of the bottle. It has a trendy chic look that even opi or other nail polish companys can't compare. The brush is wide and flat so it gives you the balance you need when your painting your right hand with your left. This is one of the only colors that I have from the line that I would repurchase. I also have madame x but still have not tried it out yet but when I do I'll make a review for it. UPDATE: This is my favorite pink of all time! It's a warm pink that doesn't look tacky on my olive skinned complexion. Will repurchase in the future when I run out. Perfect for spring:)
I just started using the creme version of this in medium beige, which I love:) So I figured why not try the liquid one. Not the same by far! Way too watery, it reminded me of the texture of the maybelline match one. Once dried it leaves a semi gloss, this is not good when you gave major oily skin. So I used my go to maybelline dream matte powder over it. Cakey! This is nothing like the creme compact, I'm dissapointed big time. It's not everyday that you find an oil free foundation. I'm sticking to the compact version instead.
This is the worst ds foundation I have bought in a long time! I got warm sand because it was the lighest shade with yellow undertones. I discovered what oxidize finally means! My face turned an ompa lompa orange, I kid not. It also looked really cakey and my pores looked huge. Yikes! Kinda bummed out because I'd read so many good reviews and at such dirt cheap price:( This foundation might work for someone who has minimal skin problems and maybe pink undertoned?
This is my go to facial cleanser/makeup remover at the moment. Price is average- expensive for drugstore but does what it claims, removes makeup. The downside and thing I really disliked was the formulation. If it's meant to be FOAM atleast make it a foam bottle neutrogena! When I took it home I relized the pump did not look like the other foam cleansers I had tried prior and thought to myself, did I get the right one? Then I pumped some out on my palm and it wasn't foam. Great. I tried lathering it onto my face in circular motions. That's a no no! It slide right off my face with the water I splashed on. Had to read the instructions on the back. Oh, lather in hands first! Duh. Oh man. Once I did what it said it lathered thick and actually stayed on face till I rinsed it off. It took a couple pumps since lathering it in your hands wastes some of the product. Besides that, it does clean all you makeup off- foundation, mascara, eyeshadow. Buy it where you can. Hope they fix the bottle.
This is my new go to liquid eyeliner. 2.99 is a steal and the quality is not cheap. Good pigment, does not smudge, last hours. I love the brush! Normally their felt tip, which I can't stand, but this ones a thin hair brush. And it dries matte. I don't like my liner glossy, It tends to look fake. But because this ones matte it completes my look perfectly. Will repurchase till they stop making it.
Crème -Revlon - New Complexion One-Step Compact Makeup

My drugstore holy grail foundation!!! I was a MAC studio fix junkie thats now been converted to this foundation. First off I hate DS brands because they never match my skintone or they look fake and cakey or make me breakout. Not in this case! I used to wear max factor's creme to powder foundation but the color was way too light and they no longer sell it in the U.S. So I had to find a replacement which became my mac sf. Three hours after wearing it in broad daylight my face would turn into an oil slick! Whatever ingredients in it eventually gets greasy with my naturally oily skin. I needed something new. I went into walmart and looked all over the aisles till I saw this. I had tried colorstay and hated it. Too thick and fake. So I looked at the reviews on here for the one step new complexion and decided to try it. Perfect color match! Nc35/40 and medium beige looked very natural on me as the match. The color in the pan looks way darker but on my face it came out way lighter and looked good:) No fakeness or cakiness. Evened skintone, medium to full coverage, nice semi-matte finish. My face didnt look like a grease pit. Did a touch up but maybe 4 hours after I had first applied it. I really like it. I'll repurchase when I run out.
This color looks gorgous on warm skin tones. I'm nc25-30 with yellow undertones and this has got to be my favorite lipgloss ever! The last picture is the most accurate as far as the actual shade of the color is. A peach salmon color. Love it:) Will repurchase when I run out. Another similar dupe but lipstick form is revlons coralberry, which I believe is a creme, and I also own. Only cons, drys lips and constantly have to reapply after couple hours of wear.

Really great orange red lipstick with shimmer. I love how revlons been around for so long and they originated so many fabulous orange red lipsticks shades. Too bad girls try high end brands before drugstores, their missing out on real gems for a third of the price. Like the reviewer below mentioned it leaves a lovely stain. Sorta like when you were a kid and drank cherry fruit punch and it stained your lips and tongue kinda color. I apply one time then blot to matte the shimmer and tone some of the brightness down. I really like it. What I dont like is the grandma perfume smell. Too strong and dated. Hope revlon changes that.

I really wanted to like this color since warm lipsticks suit me and my warm skin tone but alas this color was too bright. Too orange. Almost like the MAC amplified formulas, which do not look good on me. If you like warm peach like colors try revlons coralberry. Love that shade, not this one so much. Oh well.
Eyeliner -L'Oreal - HIP Color Truth Cream Eyeliner in Black

I used this recently on a friend who was a brides maid. We went for the pin-up look and this eyeliner was perfect for the winged eyeliner. The brush itself was flimsy and too thick to work with the creamy gel. Since we were in a dill trying to come up with a quick fix without having the correct brush we used a felt tip eyeliner and just dipped it into the geI. Worked great for the tight situation we were in but definately recomend a better brush. The gel itself is tricky to use until you get used to the texture, if its your first time using one. Very black and matte. Stayed on for hours at the wedding she was in. Couldnt have been more happier with the results!
My local .99 cent store has theses on sale so I couldnt pass on my find:) I have always spotted this brand at cvs but 10 bucks for a ds brand aint up my alley, so when I saw it for a buck how could I pass. They only had the browns pallete so I had no chance of trying the other colors. My lips naturally are very pigmented, like a wine berry color. Yeah, the two lightest shades barely showed. It does plump a little bit which is fine because I would hate to have duck lips. lol. There the consistancy of a chapstick shimmeral and do moisturize. I did favor the darker two because they show a little more but not extremely bright as they appear. Will repurchase but on from discount stores till they run out!
