Lips -Revlon - Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain- Smitten
Diamonds 1/5/2013 7:31:00 PM
Wonderful wonderful product! I am so pleased with this line. Please do yourself a favor and pick one up today if: 1) You are sick of reapplying lipstick every.other.second! 2) You love the look of a stain, but don't like to have dry lips 3) You are sick of the draw on lip stains that you draw on like markers This is different than the other stains. Definitely like the Clinique Chubby Stick, but at a lower price. I can't say enough about these. I know that if I put it on, it will look great and leave color behind so that even if I do eat off the lipstick, the stain will still be there....not as a potent color, but a light popsicle stain. I want more colors!!
Masks -Freeman - Dead Sea Minerals Facial Anti-Stress Mask
Diamonds 1/5/2013 7:14:00 PM
LOVE! The color is a gorgeous blue (as others have pointed out) and the smell is fresh like the ocean (as others have pointed out)....why am I writing a review? I just wanted to chime in and say the same...it is a fresh mask that is easy to spread and is definitely something I will use over and over again. The Queen Helene is too thick for my liking. Too hard to get out of the package. I've always felt like Freeman makes quality products at affordable prices and this helps to solidify my case. :)
ABSOLUTELY love this product. It smells heavenly (if you like Carmex!) and as someone else described, it smells like Carmex plus a hint of vanilla. I can get the doll's head comment, but I still think it smells great! :) I hope this never goes out of stock. I am on my second bottle and love love love it. The packaging is nice too. I like the medium size...it is very handy. Thank you Carmex!
Lipstick -Cover Girl - Lip Perfection in Enchantress
Diamonds 2/27/2011 7:37:00 PM
Wow, I was ready to give up on this product. I am truly shocked how much other reviewers like it. Maybe I had a bad tube, but my lips were chapping SO BAD with this product. The color reminds me if you smeared Pepto Bismol all over your lips (providing it was opaque) that is the color it puts on your lips. If you are careful with application, it can be a beautiful color. I was just super disappointed with the irritant it had in it to make my lips flake. I do own "Heavenly" and prefer that all-purpose pink to this one. The other lipstick I have tends not to make the lips feel chapped, so I'm not sure what to make of this line! I do know that it doesn't stay put for long, that is for sure. It is one that needs to contstantly be reapplied. Long story short, this reviewer says "eh." Not holy grail material. :)
Like everyone, I am looking for that holy grail product that delivers everything my little self tanning heart desires...the closest product I've had was the L'Oreal tanning gelee....delivers great color with no color guide, however it is VERY VERY slow to dry and I am an impatient person! :0) I saw this product on the shelf at Ulta for $28 and thought...okay, let's go high class and get something on another level than the L'Oreal.. Weeelll....it is okay, but definitely level 10 as far as difficulty! I would not recommend this product for beginners. Here is what you should know... #1 You must shower/exfoliate #2 DO NOT put on lotion with any oils. I really wouldn't recommend any lotion at all prior to putting on the tanning cream. Why? The lotion will glob off the black tar tanning lotion you are putting on and make the strangest streaks/globs all over. #3 Either wear the gloves or be really quick in application. At this point, I get a paper towel and clean off my hands.
I wouldn't plan on sleeping now. The packaging says that it recommends that you use this at night because your body absorbs more color at night (???) I don't think this is correct. It will stain your sheets with the color guide as well. I would put it on when you are at home on a lazy Sunday and have nowhere to be. I thought the colorwas okay, but I've had much better luck with the L'Oreal gel.
Messy, sticky, hard for anyone but championship tanners and payoff is not as much as desired for $28/bottle!
Shampoo -John Frieda - Root Awakening Strength Restoring Shampoo
Diamonds 5/16/2010 9:17:00 PM
Couple of things grab you right off the bat... 1) Root Awakening....sounds wonderful...gotta try! :0) 2) The smell...is AMAZING. Probably top two fragrances I've ever smelled in a shampoo/conditioner (and I have tried MANY) Spearmint type smell...very light and sugary/minty....if they made a fragrance, I would buy and buy and buy. I have used this product several times. Do I think it works? The jury is out. I don't see a significant improvement over use (2 mos) The smell is heavenly though, so for a nice mediocre product with a great smell, I would repurchase for these reasons. Not a great endorsement, but most products aren't a holy grail and this one most likely won't be yours either.
Conditioner -L'Oreal - Vive Pro Hydra Gloss very dry/damaged hair
Diamonds 10/5/2008 6:19:00 PM
I adore this product. I have naturally black brown hair that I dye a very light color (bordering on platinum)...my hairstylist was coloring my hair yesterday, and she noticed a good change in my hair. She asked what shampoo/conditioner I had been using as my hair was very soft and healthy looking. I replied "L'oreal Hydragloss w/ Royal Jelly" and she was genuinely shocked. :) I wouldn't use this product unless you had very dry, damaged hair. On fine hair, it would weigh it down I would guess, and normal hair, it probably wouldn't do much for you. My hair DRINKS this stuff in! My hair feels soft and shiny...not an easy feat for someone with bleached blonde hair! I am sold. I hope this isn't discontinued in the future. I will be at your local supermarket, and drugstores across the nation scooping this up...it works THAT good. I am a product junkie, and I have not come across a product that works this good in a very, very long time for my type of hair. I used to love Redken's All Soft, but I believe the formula has changed. Joico's K-Pak works good, but this is a great (and cheap!) alternative...better even. The conditioner is amazing, bottom line. There aren't many products out there that truly work, but this is one that delivers for gals like me with frizzy, dry, processed, coarse, curly hair. Yes, we are out there, and it is nice that companies are FINALLY taking notice of us! :) Pick this up if you fall into the above categories. This is the first purchase in a while that I will keep in my "holy grail" category for hair products!
There are way too many reviews of this product in too many locations, I don't know which one to add my review to! :)

My bottom line...if you have curly, unruly, coarse, frizzy, wild hair, give this stuff a try. It is a great price and seems to work great!!
Cleansers -Neutrogena - Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Facial Cleanser
Diamonds 9/29/2008 1:59:00 PM
I absolutely agree with you, rogsweetie03. This product dried my skin out like none other, and while I did not get the bumps on my face, my skin dried out SO badly around the insides of my eyes and around my nose, it looked like I had a sunburn!
I am a gal with normal skin that is acne prone around select times. I have no idea who this product would work for...definitely not mature skin as it is super drying! I'd think it may be good for someone who needs to dry out the oil on their face. Other than that, I was dissatisfied with this product. Neutrogena is very hit or miss in my opinion, and this is one of the "misses". Like rogsweetie said, it is very much like their oil free acne wash. If that irritates you, stay away from this product!
I'm sorry to rain on the parade here, but I dislike this product. Well, not so much the product, but the intense smell of toothpaste. I recommend that if Crest toothpaste gives you a headache that you not even touch this product. If you can't imagine smearing toothpaste on your lips and loving the smell, don't buy this!!
I love Wetslicks, and I thought "Wow, Crest and Covergirl...weird...I have to try this!" I love the tingling factor, but the smell is TOO toothpaste-y. I will stick with CO Bigelow and other minty smelling glosses/lipsticks. This is not the one for me.
Eye Shadow -Love My Lips - Love My Eyes- Sea Violet
Diamonds 5/23/2008 10:58:00 PM
THIS IS AMAZING, and so cheap. This is my favorite violet eyeshadow ever. If you have green eyes, this is a beautiful color to set off the yellow tones in your eyes. If you have brown eyes, it would be beautiful too. Heck, any eye color! It isn't chalky like some lighter colors, it is a nice buildable color that blends well. PLEASE do yourself a favor and check this color out. Most likely you are looking here b/c you saw this product at the store. I found mine at WalMart for only 1 dollar. Can't beat that and it is a long lasting, smooth powder shadow. AWESOME HG eyeshadow!!!
Sad to say, but I agree w/ the negative reviews of this product. It smells SOOO good that I wish it came in lotion form. The grape smell is not like grape Jolly Ranchers-more like a wine type smell.
I absolutely agree that this stuff "gums" up in your hair. I consider myself an expert w/ beauty products, and this is one of the worst products I have ever tried. I have tried Sulfate Free shampoos before (Organix is a good product, available at all major stores) but this stuff was horrid. The product didn't lather well, and matted my long hair.
I have no interest in purchasing from this line again, which really disappoints me. They have some yummy smelling products. I'll stick to Desert Escence lotion.
This is my FAVORITE nail color ever. I am not sure the reviews for individual nail color helps, but I wanted to add my .02 cents. I LOVE THIS COLOR!!! So bright, so cheery. Hot pink, but not totally solid pink, with great shimmer. I ALWAYS get compliments on this polish. My nail tech had this, and I immediately had to go out and find it in the stores (found at Ulta) The polish lasts a long time. A+!!!
Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - Mountain Ocean - Skin Trip Coconut Lotion
Diamonds 5/4/2008 2:14:00 PM
Like everyone has said, this is a SUPERB product. I have also used this product since I was a little girl, and it was a special present for me around grade time or a birthday.
The coconut smell is amazing. I hope this lotion never gets discontinued! It it indescribable-fresh, sweet, coconuty..yum. Smells like summer.
Yes, it can be bought at Whole Foods/Wild Oats, but I have also seen it at grocery stores such as King Soopers (Kroger) for around $6-8 dollars.
This product is so much more for me than lotion though--memories of my childhood are associated w/ this product. BUT you will love it!
Lotions/ Creams -mark - Self Sanctuary Lemon Sugar Moisture Milk
Diamonds 4/25/2008 6:14:00 PM
This review is strictly for the lotion... I just purchased Bath and Body Works "Hello Sugar" and really enjoy it, however the lotion has sparkles in it, and the lotion consistancy is very thick/clammy feeling. I was looking for a no-glitter of the "Hello Sugar" lotion. I was hoping it would be more sugary, like Bath and Body Works' new line, but my hopes were dashed. This lotion is more lemony and dries down to a strange old lady powder smell. I have to call it like I smell it! I am only slightly disappointed. I won't wear this scent out in public, but it is a nice summer time lotion-light and cool. I did buy Kiwi Lotus in the Moisture Milk and enjoy that a bit more than this one. Go to Bath and Body Works first to smell their new line first...it smells great-very lemony yet also sugary. I will consider buying this line again, but not this specific scent, and that is why I chose "no" when prompted whether I would buy again.
