MAC eye shadows are by far my favorites! Excellent color selection in both matte and shimmer shades. Most of them wear really well on me with little to no creasing. My favs: Smut, Sable,Yogurt,Orb,Venus and Greystone.

I received this recently in a swap and I must say it's a really wonderful push brush. Extremely similar to the Japonesque 215 that I already own but I needed something with a shorter handle for my petite planner. The bristles are on the firmer side and the brush is great for lining the eyes with shadow. Great for touch ups...I am a happy camper!

Wonderful, extremely soft brush that fits perfectly into my TM petite planner. It's great for blush or powder application. This is about 4" in length and is made of squirrel hair. Nice and dense as well. Love it!!

After craving this for the longest time, I finally decided to take the plunge during the Neiman Marcus 2003 event. It was $38.00 and comes with a removable mesh pouch. It is the best makeup organizer ever!! The size is perfect for my purse. It holds everything I need: In the brush pockets I have 4 makeup brushes, lip liner and concealer. On the multi-function page ($13), I have a blush and 4 eye shadows. In the snap pocket I have a travel hand cream, lipstick, and a gloss. All in all it was worth the investment. If you carry a demi purse it probably won't fit due to its 5 3/4" x 3 3/4" x 2 1/4" size. For me though, it's perfect!!

I received Chic in a swap recently and I must say I love it!! Very pretty medium pink/berry shade with golden shimmer. This color works great with my dark hair/fair skin cool toned complexion. Not drying (imo) like some of MAC's other lipsticks. A winner for me!!

A beautiful berry shade that is actually perfect for my cool skin tone. Too bad it's extremely drying for me. It does work if I wear lip balm under it or gloss over it. OK if I am going out but who wants to deal with that when you are in a hurry...I will finish this tube but will not repurchase unless they change the formulation of this lipstick.

I first tried this in the Lips x 11 2002 holiday palette. Though the palette as a whole didn't work out for me, this lipstick certainly did! I returned my empties and brought it home with me. This is a beautiful berry with bronze shimmer. Works great with my cool skin tone. I can't believe I waited so long to try it!!

Really pretty light pink/mauve shade with golden shimmer. My hair is dark and my skin is pale so this totally washed me out. The texture is really nice though and it didn't dry out my lips. I would recommend it if the pale lip look is for you.

Under $4.00 for a quality product that rivals department store glosses! This is nicely pigmented in a beautiful muted rose shade. Great coverage and lasts a long time. A winner for me!!

Eye Shadow -Stila - Starlight Eye Shadow

Starlight is a neutral beige e/s with silver shimmer. I like this a base shade and it goes with a lot of the e/s I have. Also works great as a wash or to highlight the brow area. Very versatile shade...really brightens up the eye area without a lot of glitter. Nice!!

On me this shows up as a very pretty peach with golden shimmer shade. One of the few warmer eye shadow shades I can wear with my dark brown hair, brown eyes and NW15 skin. Lasts for hours on me with Almay Amazing Lasting Concealer as a base.

Gels/Soaps -Shi Kai - Moisturizing Shower Gel

I have been using these shower gels for a couple of years now. Great scents, great lather amd very moisturizing. My favorite is the French Vanilla. Not too sweet and doesn't smell synthetic. My skin is very dry especially in the winter and this stuff doesn't dry out my skin at all. Very inexpensive...I don't even have to hide it from my husband and daughter like I do my more expensive shower gels!!

Palettes -MAC - Pro Colour Palette/Large Eye Shadow

Unfortunately MAC discontinued this...Great palette that holds 8 eye shadows or blushes depending on the manufacturer. I have one filled with Prestige eye shadows and Jane blushes. Recently swapped for another one that I am beginning to fill with my new Stila shadows! Great for organizing e/s and blush pans and stores easily in my train case. Love it!!

Palettes -MAC - Lips x11 Holiday 2002 Lip Palette

I bought this because it was so pretty. Unfortunately only a couple of the colors work for me (love "O" and the red gloss!!). This palette contains mostly light or neutral tones that just wash out my high contrast coloring. The Spice lip pencil turned orange on my lips...not a natural look for me! Really great MAC packaging though. I wish I could wear more of the shades.

I guess I am in the minority here...the colors in this palette are really pretty but only a couple of the shades worked for my fair skin. Most of them needed a lot of work to look good. MAC's frost eye shadows tend to go on really choppy for me. I really liked the way it was set up with the brush, pencil and sharpener. Sleek packaging as always from MAC.
