Eyeliner -Studio Gear - Cake Liner
rated 3 of 5

I wish I could give this product 3.5 lipsticks. I really love the finish and how it looks and it's staying power. However, it's VERY difficult to work with. Don't get it wet enough and there is no pigment and it drags. If you get it too wet, it smears. It's hard to find a happy medium. Plus, it kind of has a smell to it. If you're good at cake liners, I would recommend this. But, if you're not (like me), don't try it .. it's not easy to adjust to.

Styling Products -Got 2 Be - Guardian Angel Heat Protect N' Curl Iron Spray and Gloss Finish

This product was a godsend to me! I have such a hard time holding curl in my heavy, thick hair in this hot weather. This held my curls and made them soft and shiny. This is great for ladies who use hot rollers. I love the packaging and for $8, I'll keep repurchasing :)

Lip Gloss -Maybelline - Shiny-Licious - Coconut Cream
rated 4 of 5
DeltaChai 8/4/2009 6:06:00 PM

Pretty! Coconut Cream is a sheer pinky nude gloss that looks pretty alone and over nude lipsticks. I deducted one lipstick because it's almost too sheer and my lips are hardly pigmented. However, I love it. It's no fuss, I can apply it straight out the tube. I love the smell and the feel.

Concealers -Neutrogena - Skin Clearing Oil-Free Concealer
rated 4 of 5

I'm surprised by all the negative reviews on this product, this is one of the few products that I constantly go back to. I have very fair skin with minor imperfections (little red marks here and there, maybe break out once every few months) The fairest color works wonderfully with my skin, I don't even need foundation when I wear it! It's creamy, easy to spread, buildable and not greasy at all. I like the click pen it's in, however I dislike the sponge applicator. I usually just wash my hands and use my finger to dab on product to prevent breakouts. This also helps tone down the redness in any blemish and IME, works to get rid of existing pimples. Love this.

Concealers -Rimmel - Hide the Blemish
rated 1 of 5

Acne prone or sensitive ladies PLEASE stay away from this product. BROKE ME OUT HORRIBLY. I had a tiny pimple on my chin, applied this and over the next 5 days I ended up with 4 cystic pimples on my chin and I hardly ever break out. It's wax based, so that's probably why. Cakey and oily. Ick.

Lipstick -MAC - Speak Louder - Cremesheen
rated 4 of 5
DeltaChai 8/3/2009 2:08:00 AM

On me, this does not look fuschia. This is a pretty pinky-red on my complexion. I was with my friend one day and wanted a lipstick color that was the same (or close) to the same color as MAC's Red Velvet Shadestick (Sugarsweet collection) and I chose this one. Speak Louder is very bright in the tube and on the lips. It's true to color and makes my lips stand out. It really brightens up the complexion instead of washing me out like a lot of bright colors do. For a nice day time look I apply chapstick first, then use my finger to swirl and dab color on my lips and it leaves a beautiful, juicy and natural finish. It lasts for a while and once it fades it leaves a nice stain. For a dramatic tube, I just apply straight from the tube. I love the formula, Cremesheen is my favorite. It's creamy, opaque and glossy on first application. I deducted one lipstick because it can dry out the lips a bit, I would recommend using a dab of chapstick under this product.

Lip Gloss -Sonia Kashuk - Lip Glossing Fairy
rated 5 of 5
DeltaChai 7/29/2009 1:59:00 PM

Great little product. SK cosmetics have had a makeover in the last few months, so mine comes without the lipliner. It comes in sleek, expensive looking packaging. It has a silver cap with a silver bar down the middle that reads "Sonia Kashuk." The color is a springy pink with just a tad of each. It's shimmery, but not glittery. There's no scent or taste in my experience. It has a brush tip which is fabulous. It glides on like a dream and is not sticky at all. It's very versatile. It's sheer enough to be used over lipstick, but has enough color to be used alone. Also, I find that if you apply a dab of concealer on your lips before applying this, it makes a great nude lip.

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Sin
rated 2 of 5

What in the fresh hell was this? Ugh, totally disappointed. It applied watery and CREASED, it also faded my eyeshadows big time. The packaging is ridiculous because it wastes product and it also has a funky smell to it. No thanks

Eyeliner -Sonia Kashuk - Dramatically Defining Long Wear Gel Liner
rated 5 of 5
DeltaChai 7/29/2009 2:07:00 AM

BIG HUGE YAY for this product. Ladies, if you can get your hands on this, please do. It's only $8.99 and performs wonderfully. First of all, let me say I have always been pleased with SK products. I've never tried a gel liner and decided to buy this with the bent eyeliner brush (Also SK, review in profile). The color I purchased is "Cocoa" which is a lovely, matte, chocolate brown. First, I rub the packaging together between my hands to warm it up even though it's already very creamy. I glide the brush along the color then apply to the eyes. It has a great color payoff and is very true to color. It lasts and lasts, I went out in 111 degree heat and it didn't budge until I took it off. Also, the packaging is great. It looks like an expensive product, it has a frosted jar with a silver cap. You also get a lot of product for what you pay for (0.18 oz). From what I saw it comes in three colors: ebony, cocoa and a dark purple color. Highly recommended.

Lipstick -Boots - No7 Stay Perfect - Divine 05
rated 4 of 5
DeltaChai 7/28/2009 5:55:00 PM

I had low expectations for this product, but I tried it out anyway. For $9.99 what is there to lose? I love it! It's a great pinky nude for my fair skin. It has more pink than peach in it, and it looks and feels great on the lips. It has a semi-matte finish and lasts for about 3-4 hours. The packaging is nice and sleek, just a black case with a No.7 on it. I deducted one lipstick because the color can look a little flat, but can be paired with lipgloss to make it pop.

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Designer Chocolates Quad
rated 5 of 5
DeltaChai 7/27/2009 8:36:00 PM

This is great for a natural look, if you're looking for drama with this quad, look elsewhere. It comes with four colors: a shimmery bone white (browbone), a muted beige (lid), a rosy, shimmery brown (crease) and a milk chocolate brown (outer-v). I wasn't sure about the rosy brown, but it ended up making my brown eyes pop a lot. The colors blend very well, especially with a primer underneath. This is an awesome everyday, no fuss, grab-and-go quad that I will continue to repurchase. **EDIT** Added one more lipstick, this has become my HG! Not too warm, not too cool, just pretty and not fussy on my eyes :)

Eye Shadow -Rimmel - Colour Rush Eyeshadow Quad in Chocolatine 005
rated 2 of 5
DeltaChai 7/27/2009 3:54:00 PM

Meh, didn't work for me. Poor pigment, very chalky. Also, not suited for cool skintones, this was wayyy too warm, but that's not the product's fault. Will not repurchase.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Steamy
rated 4 of 5
DeltaChai 7/23/2009 5:38:00 PM

So pretty! I was iffy about this e/s because I stay away from brights because of my fair skin. It's a shimmer blue-green that looks beautiful in the pan and on the eye. It's true to color. It leans toward the green more IMO. It makes my honey brown eyes POP. I would definitely buy this again because it's so versatile. I put it on sheerly and use a dark brown for a pretty daytime look, pack in on for a bright nighttime look. I deducted one lipstick because it's a little hard to blend.

Lipstick -Too Faced - Lip of Luxury - Free Love
rated 5 of 5
DeltaChai 7/22/2009 6:03:00 PM

This is part of TF's "Naturally Naughty" collection. The "Naturally" side has pinks, browns and champagnes for eyeshadow and lipsticks. The "Naughty" has vampy reds and black e/s. I always lean toward a more natural look, so I checked out the "Naturally" side. I found a really gorgeous lipstick. It's called "Free Love" and it's described on the website as "pink velvet." I would say this is accurate. It's a natural looking pink with a little bit of metallic shimmer to give it a gloss effect. There is no frost in this which makes it great. It's creamy and feels VERY comfortable on the lips. The formula reminds me of MAC Slimshines. It has the gloss appeal but the pigment of a lipstick. This makes a great nude for fair skinned girls. It's everything I wanted MAC Hue to be, but instead of lavender undertones, there are peachy ones in this one. The price is a little steep at $18, but the packaging is gorgeous (pink with a faux diamond on the cap). Highly recommended.

Lip Gloss -Flirt - Plushious Liquid Velvet Lipcolor - Nude Kiss
rated 4 of 5
DeltaChai 7/20/2009 11:28:00 AM

This is exactly what I wanted MAC Underage to be. Instead, Underage looked like glue on my lips and washed me out. Nude Kiss is a pinky-nude with a little bit of shimmer. It goes on very smoothly and is pigmented. The color looks great on the lips, it warms them up instead of washing out the rest of my skin. It smells like vanilla, too! I deducted one lipstick because when you first buy it, it is kind of difficult to get product on the doefoot applicator, but once you use it once or twice this gets easier. I would repurchase, it's very pretty.
