Eye Shadow -Unlisted Brand - MUA - Undressed Palette
rated 5 of 5

Like others, I couldn't pass this up at £4 from MUA, as a Naked dupe. The colours are pretty spot on, and swatched side by side, Undressed is virtually identical. Shimmer shades are fantastic, although as you'd expect, the mattes are a tiny bit under par, nothing that extra application and careful blending can't cure. Excellent lasting power, especially over SInsurance or UDPP. This little palette is fairly sturdy, but at £4 I'm happy to chuck it in a bag and go. If it breaks, and it hasn't yet, well, I'll get another.

Blush -Sleek - Life’s a Peach
rated 5 of 5

Bought this in a whim after hitting pan on my Too Faced Peach blush. It's a ferrying orange in the pan, and like almost all Sleek, has great pigment. Once applied though it turns into a beautiful peachy glow. Very blend able and I can imagine this would be totally stunning on very dark skin. Lasts all day on me, and I've had quite a few compliments on it. The packaging is nice, doesn't feel cheap or flimsy, and for the price, again, Sleek products are beautiful quality.

Eye Primer -Too Faced - Shadow Insurance - Lemon Drop, Color Correcting Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer
rated 5 of 5

SI is my HG eye primer. Tried UDPP but I don't like the texture. SI controls oilies, evens out my blotchy bits and glues on e/s. I love this stuff but I do think it's pretty expensive, and it annoys me when I can't get the last drop out of the tube, but actually, I love the packaging ~ so much more hygienic than those wand things.

Blush -Sleek - blush - Rose Gold
rated 5 of 5

I have Life's a Peach by Sleek and have heard such good things about Rose Gold but it was always sold out. Anyway, saw some this weekend and snatched it up, and I'm so thrilled with it. A beautiful, peachy, glory pink with gold sheen. It is very similar to Nars Orgasm, but I think it's peachier and prettier. A gentle hand is necessary as this is super pigmented, but the effect is stunning especially for the summer. I do find the gold can be a bit pore highlighting, but with a decent primer this is wonderful. Love love love.

Palettes -Too Faced - Quickie Chronicle-The Plaything Of Passion
rated 3 of 5

Bought this on EBay on a whim. I like the colours. The blush is a beautiful peach, which suits me perfectly. It has a tiny hint of shimmer, not enough to frighten but it glows. It blends well and lasts ok, and the palette is a great size to chuck in my bag for touch ups. The shadows are cute, especially the peacock colour which is beautiful as a liner. The brown has iridescent glitter, but this doesn't translate, and the shade is actually nicely matte. The two glosses have a fab texture, creamy and long lasting. The peachy shade I wear a lot, but the browny version is very frosted and only suits me with a tan. Having them together does mean it all gets a bit goopy with shadow, but that us being slammed around in my bag all day. Overall a nice palette. I'd probably get a different WC rather than straight repurchase, but this is a cute little palette with plenty of wear.

Eye Shadow -Too Faced - Natural Eye Palette
rated 4 of 5

Too Faced palettes are kitschy cute, with some pretty looks laid out for you. The cards would be good for a beginner, although I like to mix them up. The pan sizes are good, with plenty of highlighter which is a bonus as I use these fastest. A mix of matter and shimmer, and the colours are neutral but interesting. The bottom highlighter is the worst, as others have said, enormous chunks of glitter. I love a bit of shimmer, but this is way too much even for me. Lovely soft, blend able shades which wear well with primer, although I think the staying power is a bit hit and miss for the cash. The size of the palette means its my go to for travelling, as it fits nicely but offers quite a few looks. I'd repurchase, not that I'll ever run out. Months if continuous use have made barely a dent, and I do use all of the shades a couple of times a week.

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow in Bad to the Bronze / on and on bronze
rated 5 of 5

Waited ages for this to come out in the UK, and I'm not disappointed. This applies and wears beautifully, in a neutral but shimmery bronze. The wear is amazing, with or without primer, and it blends well with fingertips. The packaging is a nice, chunky glass, looks more expensive than it is. I layer this with powder shadows, inner corner and a crease, and have had several compliments on it since I started wearing it. It lasts and lasts, and holds shadows like glue. Just wish it wasn't sold out in nearly every colour, and I'd like to find the white somewhere. Wicked product that I'll repurchase in several colours.

Palettes -Sleek - Storm Palette
rated 4 of 5
Delilahcakes 4/23/2012 3:44:00 PM

I love this palette. Beautiful neutrals, plenty of shimmer and a little matte for eyebrows and to tone it down. There are plenty of highlighter shades which I often use more of, and the matte brown matches my brows. The shadows are really soft and creamy, true to pan and wear for ages. I can go from 8 til 8 in these over SInsurance, and they still look good. Sleek are a marvellous manufacturer, I've yet to be disappointed, and I reach for this far more often than UD or Too Faced naked/natural palettes. For £6.49 in superdrug, I'm wowed.
