Deodorants -Unlisted Brand - Crystal Body Deodorant Stick
Dee987 4/3/2013 11:41:00 AM
I am writing a review for the Crystal Body Deodorant. They come in two size's, normal and travel. . - I bought mine for $1.65 from iherb.com. I used a discount code aswell that got me $5 off or $10 for orders over $40. CODE: ZEH931 . - I must say, I was skeptical about this but it really WORKS! I been using the travel size on most days for 5 months and I just got half way. . - When I do use this, I don't get any odors although I might get a little wet there but seriously, NO ODORS. Mind blown. . - I run the hard crystal under some water then wipe it on my arm pits until it's no longer slippery. Then repeat. The crystal ruhs clear and is ordorless.
Lives up to the hype! I use this roughly once or twice a week. Smell is minty but not strong. You have enough time to apply it before it dries. Be careful when squeezing it out though, sometimes mine flies out of the tube. . - For PORES, it does a great job at reducing the size of them. The appearance lasts up to 5 days then I start to notice my pores again. . - In terms of BREAKOUTS, it does not eliminate blemishes but does help reduce the intensity of them. When I first starting using this mask, it would noticably help prevent my breakouts. After a few months of using - I have noticed that it's not as effective anymore. I will need to switch masks. . - I couldn't find this product in Australia so I ordered it off iherb.com. If you're interested, here's a discount code: ZEH931. $5 off purchase ($10 for orders over $40).
These brushes truely live up to the hype. All four do not shed. None of them scratch. Comes with a handy travel case which I use as a stand to dry my brushes. . - These brushes were cheap off iherb.com. Australia is so expensive!!!!! $5 off Coupon code: ZEH931 ($10 off purchase if you spend over $40) . -The FLAT TOP is great for foundation. I use my RT expert brush when this is dirty. I prefer this one than Sedona Lace's flat top. . - CONTOUR brush is super soft so I tend to pinch the brush while contouring. You can use this brush for blush if you have small cheek bones like me. . - CONCEALER brush is small and precise. I use this for concealer or cream eye shadows/base. The handle is super thin too. . - FOUNDATION/Paddle brush is my least fav. It's quite small and has a pointed tip. It's not as dense as Sigma's foundation brush. I used to use this for undereye concealer but then forgot about it.

- I use this brush for my face or cheek powders. It's great! It's soft and fluffy, good size and does not shed. The handle is Pink!!!!! It's a nice touch of colour amongst my other brushes. LOVE THIS BRUSH. - You can get RT brushes for cheap on iherb.com. It's so expensive in OZ. If you do, here's a discount code: ZEH931. $5 off purchase of $10 for orders over $40.

I honestly prefer other stippling brushes. It does the job but if you wanted a RT brush for foundation, go for the expert (sold seperately) or flat top brush (comes in the core colletion). Visit iherb.com and have a browse. That's where I got my RT brushes (Australia is way too expensive). I used a coupon code too! Discount Code: ZEH931 ($5 or $10 off order)

It is dense and the shape it unique. I can get around my nose much easier than flat top brushes. It REALLY buffs in my liquid foundation. Doesnt soak up much foundation and as you know the denser the brush, the more coverage you get. I have other brushes for foundation but this sits at the top of my list! I purchased off iherb.com (as I love in Oz and its way too expensive). I used a coupon code and recieved $10 off ($5 off when purchases are <$40). Discount Code: ZEH931
Pros - Doesnt smudge, clump or flake. When I wear glasses, it doesn't smudge on the lenses. Unlike loreals voluminous. That stuff never dries lol. It seperates my lashes nicely though. Cons - No volume or much length. I have to reapply a few times before I gets results and before it starts too spidery. So I stand there for a while which is time consuming considering it's masacra. Lasts a while before it does start to transfer - 6 hours ish. It's a pretty basic masacra I must admit and I don't know why some people love it. I use it on an average day. Nothing special. Bottom line, if you want an everyday regular mascara try it. If you want full lashes than I'd pass this one up. I won't be repurchasing though because there's so many for me to keep trying, as always.
I'm NC35/37 and I got shade 03. It's great! Covers my blemishes well and it feel light. Stays on all day. I fell asleep with it on and i woke up still looking great haha. It didnt transfer or slide around - without primer. Only problem is that it slightly breaks me out. Not that bad but I can't use it constantly. Maybe once a week-fortnight =(
Im NC37 and I use Honey. Great match. I use this to set my foundation but only use a little bit. If I use too much then I spray some fix over it otherwise it would look to matte and powdery. When I wear this on its own I tend to use a bit more and it looks like I'm wearing nothing! It definitely keeps my face matte and evens out my skin tone. I don't have many blemishes or redness on my face but enough to notice. It works really well I must admit. I really like this powder!
I'm NC37 and got warm golden. Good match. It feels so silky when you apply it! Glides on well with my fingers or brush. I can't compare this to the original but I can to higher ends. The coverage isn't the best. One application and you can still see blemish scarring although the redness calms down. When I build it up it looks and feels heavy so I don't end up doing two coats. The finish is not matte at all. It kinda feels greasy and gross. You will definitely need to powder your face AND touch up during the day. Also, it doesn't last long and transfers more than higher end brands. I wanted to love it but I guess I'll only use it up on a regular day and not at an "event". In the end everyone's face is different. My advice? If youre on a budget and do not have oily skin then go for it! If youre looking for your HG than look elsewhere. Use a good primer and definitely invest in a trusty powder! .. And dont rub or try on clothes cause it will wipe off.
Worked for me. I haven't used any other spot treatments so I can't compare. It works best when the blemish has started otherwise the pimple won't die down till a couple days. Im assuming there are better products out there but for now this is working as a good substitute. Try it out!
Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Nourishing Lip Balm with Mango Butter
Dee987 9/21/2012 6:16:00 AM
I have tried this and the original. I prefer this one because it is a lot more creamier and buttery which makes my lips feel more nourished. I also love the smell and... Taste? I don't fancy the SPF smelling and tasting lip balms even though SPF is a bonus. It lasts a long time, around a couple of hours without wiping or licking. It gives a nice shine to your lips too but not glossy. Just healthy. This is my hang bag necessity! When you purchase this you will not regret... . You can purchase them for $3 from iherb.com. Discount code allows $5 off you order ($10 off for orders over $40) CODE: - I bought mine for $1.65 from iherb.com. I used a discount code aswell that got me $5 off or $10 for orders over $40. I was afraid of the strong smell that palmers products usually have but this actually smells nice. It's like a mix of chocolate and flowers. Ive been using this for 3 months now and I still have 3/4 of it left! Its thick but spreads easily. It doesn't feel heavy nor greasy. It does take a minute to soak in till the shine goes away. Wrinkles? I don't really have any... Anyways I haven't noticed any reduction unfortunately but it has definitely kept my face hydrated (I USED to have a dry face) and feeling great the next morning. It has alot of beneficial ingrediants so Its obviously a Decent product. It's also a great, cheap cream to mix other stuff in such as rose hip oil or vitamin e oil. If you're looking for a basic night cream thats cheap, then get on this! It ain't no miracle worker but then... What is?
Eyeliner -MAC - Fluidline Eye-Liner Gel in Blacktrack
Dee987 9/21/2012 5:36:00 AM
I used this with MAC's 266 angled brush. Worked very well. Always got perfect lines and wings. Smooth (but not as smooth as bobbi brown) black and pigmented. Never smudged and I'm anal about transferring products! Best liner I have ever used on my lid. Can't say much for water lines though. Only problem, it dried out fairly quick (compared to other gel liners) but only because I used it on the weekends. If you used this every day or close to it then this is perfect! A seriously recommended product! Oh and make sure you close the lid tighly!
This blush is harder to describe because it's so different on every skin tone. I'm NC37 and Its my go to blush! It's a pinky/brown color. It looks pretty average in the pan but when you apply it, AMAZING. It looks quite natural on my cheeks without looking plain and boring. Its matte Which is great for everyday. Can wear it with any outfit or makeup looks because it's buildable. Definitely check it out because I love it!
