Really happy with this. Can't believe it's lasting power. Plan on buying another shade when I can go to a store that has testers! A tiny little bit of colour dotted over the balm is great for a bit of daytime glamour and then you can build it up and up into a nighttime look. A clear gloss on it should look very good! Very happy, think I'll be buying this for a long time.
Like others I didn't know what to make of this when I started using it but extra care with application is essential. It doesn't leave any tide marks as it matches my skin colour prefectly. I use a foundation brush to apply and it does leave a brush effect sometimes if I'm too rough. I hated the fact that there was no pump at first but now I'm used to it. One small matter though...I find I have to pluck my eyebrows more as the hair is growing on them much faster! All in all though a very good foundation, stays where it's supposed to and lasts extremely well.
Eye Shadow -Bourjois - Stretch shadow (ombre stretch)

New eyeshadow fro Bourjois. The colour are gorgeous and have great staying power. I took the brun nylon and there's a lovely sheen with a little sparkle and it's the first eyeshadow I've ever used that doesn't crease. Perfect for daytime. It comes with a lovely long brush thats almost as good as my pricey eyeshadow brush and it had a little mirror...really nice packaging. The only thing is I don't see why it's so special as regards its 'Extensibility'! Will get more colours though and try a bit of blending and experimenting. Great value it's a huge pallet for an eyeshadow and should last for a long time.
Lips -Bourjois - Rouge Hi-Tech Water-based liptint [DISCONTINUED]

Love it! Absolutely fantastic product. It's a cute little pot with a wand and it goes on very smooth, quickly and evenly. The staying power is amazing, lasts the whole day and you won't need to re apply it. It is a stain that won't come off no matter what you eat or drink. I got this in Groseille Irreelle which looks very pink on the hand but is a kind of red when it's on. Can't wait to try the other colours.
Best mascara I've ever tried. Takes a little longer to apply it but it doesn't smudge, doesn't clump and really makes the eyes stand out. Really happy with it. Might try some other max factor mascara's now but I can't imagine I'll get better than this.
It's fine but the way it drys out it so annoying and I have never used another mascara that does this. The brush actually gets caught in my eyelashes! So no, won't be buying again. It's fine for the first couple of weeks but thats pretty much it.
mmm...depending on the day I loved or hated this. It made my skin oily...which did give me a glow on good skin days, however on bad skin days I just felt barefaced...Good coverage and it stays put but the finish isn't great at all.
Alas....I got some of this in the tube about three years ago and it was brilliant. It lasted ages, I went back and go the stick version which was awful. It chapped my lips and made them sore like nothing before. So I used other things and then bought another tube and gave it one last try....it wasn't immediate but eventually my lips became dry and chapped again with a kind of layer of white stuff around the sides...Not attractive!! I don't know if they changed the formula or what but it was very disapointing.
For the first time I slightly mistrusted the makeup alley review centre and thought 'I'm going to be brushing and washing this out of my hair for weeks and months'! I mixed a good dollop with a little bit of conditioner and it easily went into a paste. The results were really great, very shiny hair and natural highlights were much more noticeable but my hair was a little heavy but after the next wash my hair looked even better and much softer. In other words I definitely wouldn't use this before I was going out for the night but leave it to the wash before. Will experiment more though now I know how easily it washes out.
Just delighted I came across this...if I had paid a fortune for a cream that gave the same results I would be so happy. It's by no means a miracle cure for anything but it gives the skin such a lovely texture and feel, reduces redness and helps to heal blemishes without any horrible little red marks. I just used plain honey and mixed it with nothing. I usually leave it on for about half an hour but I have noticed that the longer you leave it the better the results. The results are probably more noticeable the next day. Love it. Finally something to give HG status to!
Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17
Dee2007 1/17/2008 7:32:00 AM
Not quite my HG...but closer than anything has gotten. It can be a little fake looking and I don't get the whole true match thing but for coverage and staying power I can't fault it. Having said that it doesn't like my bronzer over it and my bronzer kinda gets patchy which it didn't do with my previous foundations. It doesn't clog my pores either...even the foundations that say they won't sometimes do. Very happy but keeping an eye on the market.
Really hated this....giving it an overall rating of 2 cause the black bit of it is okay on it's own but the white stick is pointless. To get enough on to make a difference you would need to set aside a good part of your day (slight exageration) but it's clumpy and pointless. Sticking to normal mascara from now on.
Moisturizers -L'Oreal - Visible Results Daily Skin Perfecting Moisturizer

Again, I'm so surprised with the negative comments. After using the same moisturiser for years I wanted a change and it had to have SPF so I picked this up and am in love with it. It smells lovely, very refreshing, a little goes a long way and my skin just glows. Obviously it doesn't suit everyone though.
Eyeliner -Coty - Miss Sporty Automatic Mini Me Eye Liner
Dee2007 9/13/2007 5:24:00 AM
Bought this in two colours, white and blue. The blue isn't strong enough and the white gives more of a reflection off your lower lid than anything. I can only use then on my inner lids as they drag on my skin on the eyelid and lower outer lid. The stick is thin and keeps snapping. Cheap but a waste of money nonetheless.
Eyeliner -Rimmel - Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil in Pure White
Dee2007 9/13/2007 5:20:00 AM
For the price of it I wouldn't feel too annoyed if it was an awful product but it's not. Doesn't hurt the eyes at all, no dragging. Glides on and stays on and opens up they eyes beautifully.
