Eyeliner -MAC - Penultimate Eye Liner - Rapidblack
DarkElf85 3/30/2010 10:16:00 AM
I love this eyeliner!! I find it so easy to use, if you dont, then you're probably doing it wrong. The felt tip is so precise, and it discharges an inky jet black liner. Simply hold the liner at a 45 degree angle and apply and you get a nice thin line at one go. You can go over it to make it thicker. This liner lasts all day on my lids, which are non-oily. I would definately buy this again!

Palettes -MAC - colour 4 quad
DarkElf85 3/26/2010 9:20:00 PM
Love this quad. It's from MAC's Spring Colour Forecast Collection - Colour 4. The shades are Manila (a white-gold), Flip (pale gold), Aztec Brick ( a golden copper), Creole Beauty (brownish bronze). This palette is so versatile. It can be used for work, a beachy bronze look, a warm evening look, a sultry look, the colour combinations are endless. The pigment payoff is excellent, and the colours blend easily together. This palette works well with the MAC 239 brush. Oh, and you can find a colour in this palette that will complement any skintone.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous mascara
DarkElf85 1/24/2010 7:15:00 PM
I love this! It lengthens, seperates and volumizes my lashes in one quick swipe. It gives me the fake lashes look. And the best part is that it doesnt dry up quickly or irritate my sensitive eyes.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Paint Pot in Indianwood
DarkElf85 1/24/2010 6:45:00 PM
This is a creamy golden bronze eyeshadow, which can be easily applied with fingertips or a shadow brush ( I personally prefer to use the 213 brush). It's excellent under golds, browns, greens, purples, pinks, almost any colour out there. It keeps the shadow vibrant for alot longer time than the standard base. It is well worth the price, go get it.

Lip Liners -MAC - MAC Cremestick Lipliner in 80%
DarkElf85 11/30/2009 10:33:00 AM
This is my most used lipliner and here's why. It's called 80% because it's 80% brown and 20% red. This combination makes it so versatile. You can fill in ur lips and apply a clear gloss for a natural or nude look. It works well with my brown lipglosses and lipsticks, and because of the red in it, its amazing with pink and red lippies. It applies easily and smoothly. This is a must have in the makeup bag.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Bronze Eyeshadow
DarkElf85 11/26/2009 9:38:00 AM
It looks like a golden brown in the pan, but when applied it has an orange cast to it. It looks great against brown eyes and it makes a good smoky eye as well. There's a reason why this is a staple in any collection.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Sable Eye Shadow
DarkElf85 11/26/2009 9:18:00 AM
This is a dark golden brown colour that applies smoothly. This colour is great for the lid or the crease. This colour will suit all range of skintones because of its undertones. This is a must have in any makeup bag.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Say Yeah
DarkElf85 11/25/2009 8:50:00 AM
I got this in M.A.C. Trip: 5 Neutral Eyes palette. It's a pretty sunshiny peach, it's the best way to discribe it. It's like the little sister to Expensive Pink. It's great for the inner corner and highlighting the brow bone.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Coppering (veluxe pearl)
DarkElf85 11/25/2009 8:16:00 AM
This colour is like whoa! This is an intense orange-red colour. It is true to its copper name. This veluxe pearl is so smooth and so richly pigmented, the colour payoff is unbelievable. This is a must buy for brown (brings out the red and golden tones), hazel(brings outs the yellow and gold tones), and blue eyes (it makes for an amazing backdrop).

Eye Shadow -MAC - Cranberry eye shadow
DarkElf85 11/25/2009 7:59:00 AM
This is a great plum-red colour. It really pops against brown eyes, although I prefer to use it as a crease colour. It goes well with amber lights (gold) and expensive pink (golden pink). The pigmentation is really good with this shadow, you need so little that its sure to last a long time.

Lipstick -MAC - Dark Side
DarkElf85 11/25/2009 7:43:00 AM
This is a nice dark burgundy red, but it has more red in it than purple. Its goes on smoothly but you might a lipliner with this one to keep it in place. It looks great on dark complexions with yellow undertones, it instantly brightens the skintone. Its a definite buy.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Woodwinked - veluxe pearl
DarkElf85 8/13/2009 8:22:00 AM
In the pan Woodwinked looks as if someone got their 18k gold rolled in the mud and left it there. It really looks like a tarnished gold on those old antiqued pieces of jewelery. However the colour is absolutely lovely. This is my go to, every day gold for work to evening time. It's so smooth, and it goes with a wide variety of MAC shadows, the different looks that you can create with this shadow are amazing. The colour is smooth and blends so easily . It's a must have.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - # 239 Eye Shader Brush
DarkElf85 8/13/2009 8:14:00 AM
I love this brush! It's fantastic! It packs on the colour like no other, but you can also use it for blending or lining the lid. And the best part is that bristles are so soft. This my absolute favourite brush ever.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Mineralize Quad- Natural Flare
DarkElf85 8/13/2009 8:03:00 AM
This is my first mineralize item from MAC and I love it. The colours are: pale gold, gold, orange and a copper brown. Now from doing swatches on my hand I had determined that the colours were very glittery and it would take some finesse to stop the fallout. The first thing to do is apply some sort of primer to the lid, I personally use concealer. The next step is very important, and that's selecting the right brush. I know the first instinct is to go for a brush that is going to densely pack it on, as to minimize fallout, but no that does the opposite actually, so just put down the MAC 239, even though I love that brush, it is not your friend with this eyeshadow, instead pick up the MAC 217 brush. It deposits the right amount of colour on the lid with no fallout. The colours go on nicely pigmented and look more like the veluxe pearl shadows. The colours are buildable and they blend really well. It's definately a must have for all occassions.
