Ok, so I was super excited about the Chanel Rouge Coco line. So when they came out, I bought five different colors. I totally love them, but they are SO expensive. So I then found out Revlon Colorburst lipsticks and I now kinda regret getting my Rouge Cocos. I still love them, but I prefer the Revlon ones by far for two main reasons: -They are very moisturizing and last for hours. -They are A LOT cheaper. The Colorburst lipsticks are by far superior to many high end lipsticks. There is only one "downside" I would point out: -They are SO creamy that you can't put too much pressure on your lips with them, for they will bend like some MAC's creemsheens. Overall, GORGEOUS!
Top/Base Coats -China Glaze - Fast Forward Top Coat

I don't understand why this product has so many low reviews. Here are my thoughts on it: -Yes, the smell is strong, but I don't think it's THAT bad. Nail polish remover smells kind of the same, and the smell fades away once the top coat and polish coats are completely dry (about 10 minutes). -What a fast drying top coat does is it dries THE SURFACE really fast so it's not sticky, but the polish layers under it aren't completely dry YET. This allows you to continue doing your make up/eating/doing your hair. But you STILL have to be careful not to put a lot of pressure on your nails. -Yes, it does change the polish color right away when you are applying it, but the true color comes back after everything is completely dry (about 10 minutes). -This makes my nails very shiny. Not as shiny as I want, though, so I took of half a lippie for this factor. -It's quite thick, so I took half a lippie for this factor. I'd like it to be lighter. -It does help me prevent chipping. I'll give you a tip: You have to apply polish to the VERY tips of your fingernails and apply topcoat to the very tips of the nails just as well, that is what will actually prevent chipping. Anywa, sometimes I paint my nails really quickly and I don't really follow this step and with this topcoat my polish remains great for about five to six days, which is great IMO. Overall, I think it's a very good top coat and I would totally repurchase. I have tried Seche Vite, yes. But it's far too expensive for a top coat IMO. I'd rather spend the money on actual polish, as I go through base coats and top coats really fast. Hope this was helpful :)
I like this mascara, but won't be repurchasing since I prefer Maybelline's Colossal Volume Express mascara. They are both very similar in consistency, color (I wear the brown shade) and even smell. But the Colossal's formula is thicker, which makes application easier than with the Collagene one (at least for me). I also find that it doesn't quite dry on my lashes...so throughout the day it feels sort of sticky, it clumps and creates raccoon eyes. It does give volume to your lashes and looks natural, but I think there are better mascaras out there.
Comes up as nude on me, since it's very close to my natural lip color :) Pinky nude lipstick, VERY soft consistency since it's a Creemsheen. I bought it last week and have been wearing it everyday. Packaging is good quality and functional, like all MAC stuff. Will totally buy again!
Lipstick -Shiseido - The Makeup Automatic Lip Crayon LC2

I had looked everywhere for a MLBB lipstick and have finally found it! It's a bit more brown than pink (my lips are more on the pink side), but looks like I am wearing nothing, truly nude color. It makes my lips look fuller and gives them a nice shine coat. Not very long lasting, though! Since I have to reapply during the day, I don't think it's going to last very long, which is kinda disappointing because it's pretty expensive. Packaging is amazing and user friendly. I will buy again, that is for sure! I just wish Shiseido came up with a long lasting lipstick in this shade *sigh*
This is probably the best lengthening mascara I have ever tried. My lashes look SO long and separated. Application is very easy. The formula doesn't feel heavy and doesn't clump. The brush is a bit long, so I do have to be careful not to touch my face with it. Very cheap. Packaging is awesome, fits in my makeup bag, and cool green color :D I give it 4 out of 5 because of the strong smell, but if you are looking for a mascara that actually lengthens your lashes, this is the one to look for at the drugstore ;)
Lip Treatments -Christian Dior - Creme de Rose 001

I bought this right away the day it was released in my country. I have been using it every night. I use it as a lip treatment at night, rather than during the day. I exfoliate my lips, then apply a thick coat of the balm, go to sleep. My lips are the softest ever. Packaging is super cute, trés chic! I'm not really fond of jars, since application isn't the most hygienic. Anyway, if you use this at night as a lip therapy, and you apply with clean hands, everything will be clean and nice. I have to go get a backup! I'll definitely buy again. The price is a bit high, yes, but there are more expensive ones and the product does what it says it does and you can keep the little jar and use it as a pill holder or something once it's empty ;)
I LOVE this color. I have finally found a reddish/wine color that compliments my skin tone. I wore it over my TFSI and it lasted ALL.DAY.LONG. Very pigmented, quite unique red eye shadow. Easy to work with, buttery consistency. I will repurchase for sure.
This is PERFECT for cream eyeshadows and concealer. I'm glad I found this, because I was tempted to buy the Laura Mercier concealer brush, which costs a fortune. This one from the Body Shop is bliss!
Misc Beauty Tools -Philosophy - The Supernatural Oil Blotting Sheets

OMG The most expensive blotting tissues I have EVER purchased. Why did I buy these? They are ok, but the price is TOO high. The Body Shop makes better ones and less expensive. Will Never Buy Again.
Hands down, the best cream blush I have EVER tried. I don't use it on my lips, only on my cheeks. It looks natural, the formula is super blendable and not greasy at all, like many cream blushes out there. It lasts about 4-6 hours on me if I seal it with powder. It suits most skin tones and I don't think I will ever run out of it! You need just a little tiny bit of product. Great color payoff. The only downside I can find is that it's expensive, but considering how long a pot lasts, then I think you totally get what you pay for. Will repurchase when I run out :D
I accidentally got the brown one and thought it was too light for my lash color. Boy, was I wrong! This color makes my lashes look great , but natural. :D I'm super glad I bought this. It volumizes, lengthens, and doesn't clump if you are careful. It's easy to remove, has great packaging, lasts all day long. Will repurchase again and again!
First thing I thought was "Packaging is exquisite and adorable! I.Must.Hav.It." It's true that a full pump is too much, but if you are really careful, you can get half a pump of product, which is more than enough for both cheeks. You just need to do it slowly and be patient :D I'm in love with the color, a beautiful corally pink (all I want in a blush). The texture is soft and not greasy, like most liquidy blushes. It's a bit expensive, that's for sure, but I have already bought a back up! :-P
I'm in love with this blush. I have a hard time finding pink/rosey blushes that don't look too light for my skin tone. Well, I have found it! I love how it is shimmery, but it does not make my skin look oilier than it is already :) I would totally buy this again! The only thing I dislike is the packaging...so ugly. But I can put up with that ;)
Ok. I have been using this for a while and now feel like I can review it. At first I though "Holy crap! This does NOTHING for my skin." Then I found out you have to use a bit more product for it to show. I don't use it as a bronzer, since I prefer powder bronzers. I mix it with my moisturizer to even out my skin tone before applying my foundation (I use powder foundation). Used like that, it makes my skin look glowy and a bit more tan. I don't think I'd buy it again, though. The reason? The price. I'd rather keep on buying my O-Glow :)
