My first sniff of Vanilla Bean Noel went something like this...received in a swap about 2 years ago after hearing the raves here and at BBW.com. Dabbed a little on my hand and sniffed and thought meh just another vanilla. Fast forward to two weeks ago...coming back to work after lunch and a walk in the park w/ two co-workers/friends. We open the door to go upstairs to our dept and smell the most AMAZING smell...cotton candy, vanilla, and maybe some strawberry mixed in? It can't be the popcorn from dowstairs...maybe another co-worker is cooking or eating something? Get upstairs...nope no one in the kitchen...in fact no one else is even here at all they've all gone to lunch too! Wait a minute bet SS put on some lotion before she went for her walk! Check her desk and lo and behold there it is BBW Vanilla Bean Noel!!! That was Friday...on Saturday get on MUA and try to arrange a swap for this AMAZING lotion! My swap arrived on Thursday and I put the lotion on my legs, feet, elbows, and hands before bed that night...boy do I smell yummy...there's that cotton candy and vanilla smell I loved!! On Friday morning when I got up I was still getting whiffs of the scent from the night before...good it's long lasting! Then I wore it on Friday...now I can smell like the cotton candy vanilla goodness this lotion is anytime!! I still can't figure out where the strawberry came from but the cotton candy and vanilla is fine w/ me! Why did I get rid of this so quickly the first time and never try it again till now??? Oh well...at least I finally discovered this lovely little gem everyone raves about for myself!! Now if I could just find some Body Spray...and Shower Gel...and Body Cream (coming Monday...yah!)...and some more Body Lotion...and maybe a Wallflower...before next year!!!

Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Heavenly Angel Mist

So I've been trying to find the fragrance I smell on so many women when I'm out shopping that smells light, fresh, and clean, yet still sexy. I've tried tons of expensive perfumes and no luck. Then I kept thinking it was Clinique Happy, which smells nothingl like that on me! And lo and behold I think I've finally figured out what it is I've been smelling...and the winner is...VS Dream Angels Heavenly! Of all the perfumes out there I would have never guessed this! I've wore the EDP several years ago, but it got so it smelled sharp on me and I couldn't take it anymore so I swapped it away; however, several months ago I got the mist in a swap and decided to wear it yesterday and there was that elusive scent, I've been searching for and I had it all along!!! And the mist lasted just as long if not longer than the EDP, I sprayed it on at 8:00 in the morning and could still smell it at 8:00 last night! I can't wait to get the shower gel and lotion! Could I have finally found my HG...

Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Velvet Tuberose

Velvet Tuberose is a scent that grows on you and you have to smell it on your skin to get the full effect of the fragrance. It starts off as a green smell that quickly morphs into a full bodied floral scent. The last and most long lasting stage (and my personal favorite) is the sensual, exotic, spicy, and sultry drydown. My favorite products in the line are the EDT, Body Cream, and Shower Gel as the tend to go the the woody drydown faster than the other products. The EDT is very long lasting and smells like an expensive dept. store fragrance not something you could get for $20 dollars. The body cream lasts all day on me (if I put it on my legs at 7:00 in the morning I can still smell it at 7:00 at night). The shower gel would be great if you love the fragrance but find the other products to overpowering. If you like smelling expensive and getting compliments on your fragrances I highly recommend trying this one! I think this will be my Holy Grail fall and winter scent this year.

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Jivago - 24K

I know I've said this before in other reviews, but I think I FINALLY found my HG fragrance! Jivago 24K is such a complex fragrance to have so few ingredients. The top note of Bulgarian Rose is very fleeting. The middle notes of Asian Jasmin and Tuberose Absolute are more prominent and longer lasting (at least on my skin). The Orris and Amber are not very noticeable but help round out the deliciousness of the fragrance! Jivago 24K is sophisticated, classy, and elegance all rolled into one. But I think it could be worn with a T-shirt and jeans just as easily as it could an evening gown. I plan to wear it to work, shopping, and anywhere else I might find myself going! The Jivago 24K bottle is also a work of art, very ritzy. And the gold flakes just add to it even more! I wore this for the first time yesterday after receiving it in a swap and all I can say after one day of wearing it is WOW! Now I know why this fragrance has so many glowing reviews! I just keep pulling my shirt out of the hamper to sniff again and again, the juice is that intoxicating! I've already order the lotion, shower gel, and powder from the Jivago website and they can't arrive soon enough for me! I can't wait to wear this fragrance again to see if it garners me some of the compliments everybody else keeps talking about! However, if I never receive that first one I won't be disappointed because this fragrance is perfect to the one person that matters most....ME!!!

Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - Simply Basic Vanilla Raspberry

This is my HG body lotion! I have both this and BBW Black Raspberry Vanilla and prefer this over the BBW version! This isn't as tart smelling as the BBW version! It just smells fresh and clean and is not overly fruity either! Layered with Philosophy Falling in Love EDP it is DIVINE! Plus it's dirt cheap at Walmart and lasts just as long as BBW version too! I put it on my legs and feet last night before bed and could still smell it this morning. I have a bottle at home, a trial size tube in my purse, and a bottle on my desk at work! I highly recommend trying this version if you like the BBW scent, you just might switch and think of all the money you'll save!

While I LOVE the lotion and shower gel in this scent, I just can't bring myself to love the fragrance too. It smells so much more cloying and overwhelming than the body products. It has an almost powdery smell to it that stays from start to finish. I will probably repurchase the lotion and shower gel but not the EDP. And since I live in the south the lotion and shower gel layered together will probably be enough scent anyway!

I really love this lotion! It smells like fresh flowers! I agree with a previous reviewer that this smells better and less cloying than the perfume. If the perfume smelled just like the lotion I would be in fragrance heaven! The lotion doesn't really have any good moisturizing benefits but the smell makes up for that! I think in the summer especially here in the hot, humid, south the lotion would be enough of a fragrance w/o the EDP. If you like smelling like fresh flowers I highly recommend trying this fragrance, especially in lotion form! I don't know if I would repurchase the EDP but I would the lotion! p.s. The shower gel smells like the lotion so I recommend it too!

Fragrances -Philosophy - Falling in Love

This could very well become my HG fragrance! I've almost used an entire bottle of this and that almost never happens with my fragrances! It smells so clean and fresh on me and lasts all day! Layered with either Simply Basic Raspberry Vanilla lotion (my fave combo) or BBW Black Raspberry Vanilla it's even more divine! I've also gotten compliments on this fragrance which is an added bonus to me! I can definitely smell the blackberry, vanilla, and musk but the jasmine and lily of the valley must be very light because I don't smell them as much! If you like either the Simply Basic Raspberry Vanilla or BBW Black Raspberry Vanilla, I highly recommend you try this, I think you'll love it too! I want to try the perfume oil in this now!

Fragrances -Mary Kay - Angel Fire eau de Toilette

I got this in a swap and was very excited to try it because I had heard great things about it. Boy was I disappointed! On me it smells just like Cachet perfume from the 80's! Very powdery and cloying. However, I knew one of my co-workers had raved about this so I took it to her. And lo and behold, it smelled fantastic on her! Clean, light, and fresh! Totally different than it did on me! It must really mesh with her chemistry! She said when she wore this before strangers would walk by her, turn around, and come back and ask her what she was wearing! I can't wait to find a scent that does that for me!

Fragrances -Elizabeth Arden - Mariah Carey - 'M'

First off let me say that I am DEFINITELY not a Mariah Carey fan. That being said she definitely knows how to create a BEAUTIFUL FRAGRANCE! Mariah Carey M is lovely from start to finish. It starts out very marshmallowy for the topnotes. Then the middle notes are more floral. I've never smelled tiare flower before but it must smell beautiful! In the basenotes I can definitely smell the moroccan incense and the patchouli but neither are overly strong or overbearing. On me the marshmallow last throughout the whole drydown. The lotion is also very true to the EDP and layers very well. Both the EDP and lotion are very long lasting. However, if you normally like light fragrances I wouldn't recommend this for you. I have a co-worker who only wears B&BW sprays and lotions and she didn't like M at all. So if you're one of these people I would definitely try before you buy! I think Mariah Carey M will be great for fall and winter and maybe early spring but this is definitely not a summertime fragrance. It would be way to strong especially in the HOT, HUMID, south where I live. I also want to mention how ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL the bottle is. I love butterflies and the color purple so the bottle alone is worth it in my opinion! I'll definitely keep the bottle after the fragrance is gone!

Fragrances -Estee Lauder - Pleasures Delight

I LOVE THIS FRAGRANCE!!! I sniffed it first several times at my local Belk store and loved it each time. And I sprayed it once on one of their tester strips and got some on my fingers and couldn't stop sniffing my fingers after I left the store. But I was still leery of purchasing because I didn't like the original Pleasures fragrance. However, I finally caved and pre-ordered with the free gift they had this week and it was well worth the wait! It starts off very fruity and I can definitely smell the strawberries (I can't wait to get some strawberry lotion to layer this with), the strawberries lasted through the whole process on me topnotes, middle notes, and basenotes. The middle note is more floral and in the basenotes I could definitely smell the patchouli but it wasn't overbearing at all. I can't wait for the matching body products to come out in this! I'll be there with bells on to get the body lotion and shower gel! I highly recommend this fragrance to anyone who loves floral oriental gourmand type fragrances. I think I'll be wearing this fragrance alot during the fall and winter months, and sprayed lightly it could even last into spring and early summer! And if you didn't like the original Pleasures don't worry, this is NOTHING like it at all!

I had high hopes for Eclix and was extremely disappointed. I had read the reviews stating it smelled like B&BW Coconut Lime Verbena and could hardly wait to receive this in a swap. What a letdown! They smell nothing alike. The B&BW Coconut Lime Verbena has a fresh and clean smell. The only way I can think of to describe Eclix is CHEAP SMELLING! I'll never wear it again, back on the swap list it goes! If you're going to buy Eclix definitely try it first! I'm glad I didn't waste my money on this!

I agree with the majority on this I think it's GREAT and I LOVE it!! I usually don't go for B&BW stuff but I was in there last week getting Christmas presents for work and happened to smell this and though hmm that smells different than your average B&BW scent; however, I decided not to get any since I already have way too many perfumes!! Then on Saturday I was shopping with friends and sniffed it again and decided to get the lotion and hand cream. One of my friends tried the hand cream on the way home and the whole car started smelling so good! I tried the hand cream that night and then used the lotion and hand cream shopping yesterday and it was DIVINE!!!!!!!!! So today I was back at the mall and guess what??? Yep, you guessed it I got the shower gel, some hand cream for my purse and work, the EDT, and a candle for my office!! Can you tell I really LOVE this stuff!! Okay now for my description: On me it starts off kind of coconutty and then slowly fades into the fig and then finally I smell the brown sugar and musk. These scents all blend beatifully to create the most amazing scent B&BW has ever created, in my opinion, anyway!! I hope they don't discontinue this anytime soon and I hope they come out with hand soap very soon! I would give this 10 lippies if I could!! I highly recommend you try this if you like warm and comforting fragrances!! It's perfect for the fall and winter and might even go into spring and early summer!

I think I have definitely found my HG fragrance!! This fragrance has everything I love. It's a minty, vanillish, caramelish, chocolatey ambery musky fragrance, if that makes any sense and trust me it smells better than it sounds! It reminds me of the way VS Heavenly starts out on me kind of a minty vanilla musky smell, but instead of going powdery like the Heavenly this stays that way even when it dries down to the chocolatey caramel and amber base. The packaging is pink and kind of bold. The only thing I don't like about the bottle is the lid, it doesn't come off and this makes it hard to spray properly. Especially for a left hander like me! I got the lotion and shower gel today and based on smell alone I think they are very true to the fragrance. I'll try to remember to edit the post and add my opinions on them too! I very rarely use up a fragrance but I think this will probably be the next one on that list!! So far I've worn it to work and shopping only but it would definitely work for a night out as well. My final thoughts on this would be that it is a bold yet unique fragrance! And I love that!!

Lotions/ Creams -Suave - Naturals Toasted Vanilla and Sugar Lotion

This is my HG lotion. To me it's very moisturizing, smells wonderful, lasts all day, and is very affordable. It smells just like BBW Warm Vanilla Sugar but I can't wear theirs as it smells like play doh on me. This lotion also layers well with several of my perfumes including: Jil Sander Sensations, MK Tribute, and Aquolina Pink Sugar. I also have the body wash and it's just as great as the lotion.
