Hair Removal -Unlisted Brand - Emjoi Epislim Epilator

I have been using this for about a month on my armpits once a week. I used to shave my armpits when I didn't have time and plucked them when I did. Because I have experienced the pain of plucking individual hairs, the epilator was a dream come true! This method is so much faster, no pain at all and now my armpits stay very smooth for quite a while! The hairs are growing much less and much thinner. I am not sure which way to turn the machine to epilate and go in which direction though, but it works regardless. About 10% of the hair breaks instead of getting plucked. I am afraid of waxing my armpits, so this is much better. It being so small and portable is amazing.

Eyeliner -Rimmel - Exaggerate Full Color Eye Definer - Sable 211

Pros: Creamy + blendable, retractable feature so no wasted product nor need to carry around sharpener, lasts for quite long Cons: My waterline is... watery so it does not even go on my waterline no matter how much I go over it. Instead it just adds water to the tip of the eyeliner since it is waterproof, it's fighting against my waterline. OVERALL: This product is alright, I like the Loreal Infalliable eye liner (looks identical to this one) because I can apply it on my waterline but everything is quite similar.

I have been using this for over 5 years! I have extremely dry and sensitive skin and I've tried many but they break me out or leave my skin feeling like i didn't clean it enough but THIS is amazing! I love exfoliating my skin because it feels so much cleaner and really helps my dry skin. I would put it on my face dry and add a bit of water to distribute it all over and create a bit of a lather and just exfoliate for 30 sec to a min. rinse it with warm water, pat dry and apply my moisturizer. It NEVER breaks me out, it really feels refreshing after a long sweaty day and it's SO DAMN CHEAP!

Eyeliner -L'Oreal - Infallible Eye Liner - All Colors
rated 4 of 5

Just finished using it up! I love it! I bought it in black brown and it doesn't look as harsh as black so it's perfect and looks pretty natural if applied thinly. I love the fact that I do not waste the product from sharpening and don't have to sharpen it! It's really creamy and smudgable to give a smoky effect. I don't like the other tip where it helps smudge it a bit because it takes a lot of the product off. This product also lasted on my eyes from morning to night with constant rubbing as well. Even taking it off was a bit difficult but that's a good thing! Overall, i would purchase this product again for sure!

Eyeliner -MAC - Fascinating

I first didn't purchase it because of the price. But when I tried cheaper alternatives and they did not work, I bit the bullet and bought it. It's honestly one of the best! The pencil is soft so I don't have go over constantly to get the color. It's really pigmented and very blendable. Staying power is alright.

Eyeliner -NYX - Eyeliner pencil in White
rated 1 of 5

Quality reflects the price. It's quite cheap and it barely shows. It's really waxy and I'd have to apply a lot to at least SEE it. It's quite light after going over it constantly and I don't think that's a good thing, especially tugging and going at it around the very delicate areas around the eyes will cost more than a dishing out the money on a quality pigmented eye pencil. It's also a very hard pencil so it's also bad for the eye area. I used it on my waterline and the inner corners of my eyes and it barely shows... as well as has no lasting power.

Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - Salux Nylon Japanese Bath Towel

I cannot live without this! I hate those.. soft loofahs. It does nothing compared to this! It really makes my skin smoother and gives your body a nice all around scrub that feels amazing in the hot shower. When I add my shower soap to it, and rub it, it foams up a lot! It's dirt cheap and so easy to use. I get to my back very easily. I do not feel clean without using this, nothing compares!

Primer/ Corrector -Lise Watier - Portfolio

I have a problem with finding the right concealer for my under eye circles so I bought this thinking that i can mix my own to suit myself! I bought this about 2 yrs ago... I have dry skin and the ONLY way for it to not look soo cakey is if i only dab bit by bit with my fingers, once i add a bit too much, it's over... major cake-fest! I heard about warming it up to melt it a bit but honestly, to have to get up and go to washroom to use the blowdryer when I use this is too much of a hassle. And the clear plastic piece on the lid popped off as well! I use yellow beige to conceal only where the bag starts near the side of my nose and it does work a bit by eliminating the blue tinge. I have tried ivory but all it does it lighten my bluish-brown tinge on my under eyes. I DO love the green one for the sides of my nostrils where it's a bit red and also some blemishes that are pink, it really does conceal those well but I only dab very VERY little green and dab the area to disperse the color to counter the redness! I don't really use the other colors though... overall, it's too expensive and doesn't suit me well, i only like the green color.

Blush -NARS - Orgasm Blush
rated 2 of 5
D3sign 3/14/2011 7:25:00 PM

I bought this product only because I never knew anything about make up and told the make up lady at sephora to pick out the essentials for a basic make up routine and she picked this as a blush. But now that I know more about make up, I have to say that I don't really like how it's too shimmery. The color is really nice and fits me well but I find that there is just too much sparkle. I have a separate highlighter where I want to put on specific areas but I don't like the sparklefest where my blush is. I think a matte blush works best, then have a separate highlighter to sparkle up certain areas look better for me. I love the compact packaging and the mini mirror!

Mascara -Bobbi Brown - Lash Glamour Lengthening Mascara
rated 1 of 5

I bought this on sale and I didn't read reviews about it but I really thought the wand was nice and thin so it wouldn't bring out so much product and expose it to the air and can be easier to control. BUT! I tried it and my gosh.. it clumped all my lashes together! It made my lashes less voluminous than my normal lashes left alone... meanwhile I used a cheap drugstore brand on the other eye and it came out better. It weighs down my lashes (I got the typical asian lashes that point down naturally, so to curl them was a big effort and to apply product that just killed the curl was not cool at all!), and it clumps my lashes together.

Mascara -Revlon - Double Twist Waterproof
rated 3 of 5

I have the asian lashes where mine just point down all the time and this mascara does not help at all. I curl my lashes nicely (90 degrees up) but when I put on this mascara, it weighs it down or something... so my lashes lose 45 degrees. I have tried to curl them again after applying mascara but it does not help. The wand is also massive and it kindof smells. I am alright with the consistency, it's not clumpy for me. It does add volume a bit.
