This is a really very, very good whitening toothpaste. I've been using it for the past year and I have to say that it keeps my teeth bright so that I have a very nice, noticeable white smile. I've never stuck with any one toothpaste for as long as I've stuck with this one. And I wouldn't do that if I didn't see the wonderful way it keeps my teeth looking.

Hair Color -Unlisted Brand - Just 5 hair colorant

This is absolutely THE BEST hair color product I have ever used! And trust me, I've used them all. Incredible gray coverage -- no other product does it better, this product made my hair feel bouncy and healthy -- and that NEVER HAPPENS after coloring. What attracted me to it is the fact that you CAN color and relax on the same day with it -- in fact, it makes the color penetrate into the hair shaft even more. All of this in just five minutes - just five minutes, and without peroxide and ammonia. Awesome! My hair has never looked better! I will never use anything other than this to color my hair, ever again.. An OUTSTANDING PRODUCT!

Cleansers -Ponds - Luminous Clean Cream Cleanser

Okay, after YEARS (and I do mean years) of searching for the perfect cleanser for my face -- one up to the task of deep cleaning my incredibly oily skin, but also able to remove ANY AND ALL TRACES of makeup -- I have finally found it! This stuff is the bomb! It removed every single trace of makeup from my face -- even my eye makeup and I only had to wash my face one time! Not kidding about that either. I had been using a cleanser by Oil of Olay and another by L'OREAL that each left traces of makeup after washing, before walking around my local Walgreen's one day and stumbling on this product. It contains clay -- perfect for my oily skin, and it also makes my skin feel refreshed afterwards. I am not kidding when I say that I literally go, "Ah" after I've used it. It cleans deep down and that for me, is the most important thing. I shouldn't have to wash my face twice OR have to follow with a toner to get what the cleanser didn't. I think I'd just gotten so used to mediocrity that I just settled for products that weren't getting the job done and just making do with what I had. Not anymore with this one! Just a pea-sized shape spreads and cleans your entire face. So the large tube will last me for quite a while. Love it! If you're tired of settling for a cleanser that doesn't get the job done, you HAVE TO try this! Trust me, you're gonna love this product too!

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Colossal

THIS is my everyday mascara -- the one I never stray far from, even when I try something else. I ALWAYS come back to this one! I never have any problems with this mascara. No clumping and it always goes on well and stays on until I take it off with my standard facial cleanser at night. When I run out of it, I don't hesitate to buy it over and over again. Love it.

Liquid -Maybelline - Fit Me Foundation

This is a good foundation, HOWEVER, it is best used WITHOUT a base. If you use it with a base it will go on a bit greasy-feeling. But it is a very nice looking foundation on my skin. The color and coverage are good and it is a staple in my makeup bag. Pair it with the "Fit ME" concealer and it is great. I haven't used the powder in the line, because the only powder I ever use period, is L'OREAL True Match Powder. And it works great with this foundation as well. If you get it on sale you'll definitely be happy with it. But it is a good foundation overall.

Concealers -Maybelline - Fit Me

This is my GO TO concealer and my absolutely favorite thing in this line. There are a lot of concealers out there that are complete and utter garbage. This is not one of them. It's not cakey or greasy and blends very very well. I use it OVER every single foundation I use -- and I rotate through about five different foundations, depending on my mood or the weather that day. This concealer works excellently with every single one (especially with the Maybelline Dream Foam, which I've already reviewed). You don't need to use a lot of it AND, even better, it does not crease when worn under the eyes -- which is the main place I have to use it because of my hereditary dark circles. My eyes are also sensitve and this product does not irritate or sting at all. Another wonderful thing. It also lasts a long time. This is the best concealer I've ever used and as long as Maybelline keeps making it, I'll keep buying it.

Pressed Powders -Iman - Oil Blotting Translucent Powder

BEST. BLOTTING POWDER. EVER. I bought this powder and I was skeptical. I've tried so many oil blotting products before -- papers, you know the drill. And they didn't do squat. This product was different. First of all, I love everything in the Iman line. Everything in it is exceptional. As is this product. The best thing about this blotting powder is that it actually makes your makeup look like it has been freshly applied. I use this INSTEAD of reapplying the powder I use right after applying my foundation in the morning. It gives you a wonderful matte look and it isn't cakey. It makes your makeup look fresh, doesn't glob up and that is a definite plus for me. I've sung the praises of Iman Cosmetics before in other reviews of products in the line, so I probably sound like a broken record here, but everything in the line is fabulous. This product will last you a long time because you don't need very much of it to blot excess oil from your face. A key is making sure to keep the sponge clean. If the sponge gets shiny and built up with powder, wash the sponge! This is important. It also helps the product to wear better on your face. Great product for oily skin -- and mine is SUPER oily. Give it a try.

Lip Gloss -Milani - Haute Flash Full Coverage Shimmer Lipgloss

This is a DECENT lip gloss. Not great. Not spectacular. But decent. The colors available are very good and the lip gloss goes on well. The one thing is that for me, it isn't glossy enough. So I often have to use a clear gloss on top of it for the kind of shine that I like to have on my lips. But that's just me. It may be the right amount of shine for everyone else. The upside is that it is not sticky or tacky and it wears a long time. I'd definitely buy it again.

Cleansers -Lumene - Radiant Touch Moisturizing Cream Cleanser

I'd been looking for a really good cleanser to remove makeup. I'd used a few that were really bad and I found myself breaking out because they simply weren't working in getting all traces of makeup off of my face. This one was different. It removed all traces of my makeup -- including eye makeup. Afterwards my skin felt clean, tight and soft to the touch. It's not cheap. It was priced at about $11 at my local CVS store. I would buy it again if I have the dough. But it's a really good cleanser for your face especially if you wear makeup and need to make sure that it is all off at the end of the day.

Lip Gloss -Iman - Luxury lip shimmer Velvet

Let me begin by saying that I DON'T GO ANYWHERE without one of these in my purse. I've used some pretty horrible lip glosses out there -- that shall remain nameless (for now). :) But the Iman Lip Shimmer is outstanding! Great colors, very high gloss, great wear. Another example of good product testing and formulation. A great selection of colors always makes it hard for me to buy just one when I'm shopping for makeup. A TIP FOR YOU: I like to highlight my lips, which I am told is my best facial feature. I outline my lips with a darker shade and then "fill in" my lips with a brighter one in the same color palette. It always looks dramatic and I always get lots of compliments. This is one of the best lip glosses I've tried so far, and a great lip gloss to have in your makeup arsenal.

Crème -Iman - Cream to Powder

First off, I'm a very big fan of the Iman foundations. They are all made very well, they go on smooth and are not greasy. They each also offer very good coverage. This one is also really a good, versatile foundation. It goes on smoothly and you can apply it for either light or full coverage. It comes with a sponge or you can apply with your fingers. What I like so much about this foundation is that even though it offers matte coverage, it is good for use in warm weather -- which is a definite plus. I used to only use matte foundations in cold weather. But this one is great in warmer weather, to use as a spot foundation where you need it, and then just powder it down for a nice even look. Another GREAT foundation for women of color. It's definitely worth the money, and worth a try.

Foundations -I-Iman - Foundation Stick

Best stick foundation by far! One of the best things about this foundation, besides the fact that it is in stick form, is that it DOES NOT TRANSFER! You can literally touch your face, touch something else, and it isn't all over whatever it is you touch. It also will not "sweat" off your face either. It sets to a wonderful matte finish. Just set it with powder and you're good. It spreads very well and wears well too. Whether you use it for light or full coverage, it is great. Some days, like on a particularly warm day, I will use it just for spot coverage -- under my eyes and/or on any blemishes I may have and then powder over it. And it is sensational for that. It is equally as sensational for full-coverage application. The Iman foundations are simply fantastic. On the Iman Web site, you can compare the color of the current foundation you're wearing to the shade in the Iman pallette, which is great because you then know which shade to use -- and avoid buying the wrong one. That is yet another thing that is so great about Iman's cosmetics. I'm now a fan for life.

Foundations -Maybelline - Dream Matte Mousse

This foundation is my "go to" foundation from Fall to Spring. It offers awesome coverage and you don't have to use a lot of it. Set it with your favorite powder (my favorite powder is L'OREAL True Match), and you're ready to go. This foundation leaves my skin flawless and isn't too "heavy" on my face. Great product! I love it!

Treatments -Olay - Regenerist Night Resurfacing Elixir

I was skeptical of this product when I picked it up at my drugstore. But after having used it for the past three nights, I have to say that it is nothing short of sensational! First of all, when I started using it, I was experiencing an acne breakout on my cheek and chin, caused by some makeup that I failed to completely remove before sleep. I cleansed my face and applied it before bed. The first morning I woke up, I really saw my skin looking brighter. By the time of the third morning, I noticed my skin feeling softer, smoother and hydrated. This product really does work and it works better than any night cream I've used, including my beloved Oil of Olay Night Cream. It is pricy, but it is well worth it. Being a "woman of a certain age," I'm now learning to pay more attention to my skin care. This product is a wonderful start. I find that for me, the Olay treatments, creams and sunscreens work better for me than their cleansers. But I love this product and highly recommend it. I can't wait to see how awesome my skin is after a few weeks!

Stick -Black Opal - True Color Creme Stick Foundation

This makeup stick is okay --- that's it, just OKAY. The problem is that it transfers --- it does not set and at times can feel greasy. Even setting it with powder keeps it from being greasy for a short time only. I also have worn makeup base under it and the same thing, it gets on everything. It's not horrible, but if you like your makeup to stay put, this one probably isn't the one for you.
