Lipstick -MAC - Cremesheen - Shy Girl
CristinaIsabel 11/4/2011 8:49:00 PM
I am completely in love with this lipstick! I love it so much I have to actively force myself not to wear it daily or else I'd neglect all my other lipsticks. At first glance, it's a nude. But if you actually look at it, you'll notice it has peachy undertones that look great with warm/neutral skin tones. This is a cremesheen formula so it's supposed to be really smooth and apply easily. I have heard that it's drying to some but not on my lips. It glides on and though doesn't moisturize (obviously), it doesn't dry them either. (However if it does dry your lips I'm sure a little lip balm underneath will fix that). I tend to reach for peaches/corals so this is the perfect nude for me. It can be worn on its own or with a gloss over it. My preference for lip glosses to pair this with would be Love Nectar or any gold shimmer/tinted color. I highly recommend this lipstick and without a doubt will repurchase.

Cleansers -Biore - Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser
CristinaIsabel 7/15/2011 10:03:00 PM
I am absolutely obsessed with this cleanser. It makes my skin feel so refreshed and clear and it cleans all the oil off my face but doesn't dry my skin out at all. I know that a lot of people claim it dries out their skin a lot so I just use the clinique lotion and I don't have a problem with it at all even on the dry areas of my face. I would definitely recommend using a lotion with it though since you should be moisturizing your skin anyway. This is the best cleanser I have ever used and I know I will be repurchasing it over and over again. It keeps my skin clear and oil free all day. I would highly recommend this to everyone. =]

Tinted Moisturizer -mark - Get a Tint tinted moisturizer
CristinaIsabel 7/10/2011 12:59:00 AM
Having been the fist tinted moisturizer I ever tried, I was going in with no preferences. At first, it seemed a bit thin and slightly watery though not to an obnoxious point. I was not expecting full coverage (obviously) but I did expect to get some color on my skin. I have to say, I was not impressed. It did not give any color whatsoever although it did leave my skin feeling soft and hydrated. Based on that, I did not tend to reach for it when I would do my makeup.. until I had a mishap and discovered a way it actually works quite well. I was sick for a while and once I recovered, I looked extremely pale in certain areas while red in others. Knowing powder wouldn't cover it up and not having any foundation (I don't wear it at all) I decided to improvise and make my own foundation. I mixed some of the TM with my regular concealer on the back of my hand and applied it as foundation. All I could say was wow.. It gave great coverage, did not feel oily, and once set with powder, lasted all day. The color of the TM actually showed up and my face looked flawless. Plus, once I washed my face at night it felt so soft and smooth. I probably won't be wearing it this way daily because I'm not a foundation type of girl but it is definitely comforting to know that if I ever need some heavy duty coverage, this mixture will work amazingly. =]

Lipstick -Revlon - Super Lustrous Lipstick - Apricot Fantasy
CristinaIsabel 6/25/2011 7:43:00 PM
I really like this lipstick. It goes on smooth, looks great alone or with gloss, gives a nice sheen, and doesn't look too overdone. The only con with it is that if your lips are a little dry, it will fill the cracks and look awful. I would recommend making sure you moisturize your lips before applying. As for the color, it is a very light beige/orange with a yellow undertone which looks very pretty on fair-medium skin tones. It has a frosty finish which I am typically not a fan of but it really works well with this lipstick. Overall, I think this is a very great color and it's worth trying out.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Trio - Walking on Eggshells
CristinaIsabel 6/25/2011 7:32:00 PM
This trio is absolutely amazing. The colors are very pigmented, apply smoothly, have the perfect amount of shimmer, and last all day. I am a huge fan of Wet n Wild eye shadows and these did not let me down. They look so natural and beautiful, I can wear these every day. The eyelid and crease colors are almost exactly the same and the eyelid and crease colors on the left hand side in the Comfort Zone eight pan palette except they are a bit lighter and a little less shimmery. I think this trio is a great buy and everyone who loves the natural yet beautifully put together look should get this. I will definitely be repurchasing.

Lip Gloss -Bonne Bell - Dr. Pepper lipsmackers
CristinaIsabel 6/24/2011 1:54:00 AM
My sister actually bought this for me as a (sort of) joke because I have an obsession with purchasing out of the ordinary flavored lip balms. It turns out I actually love this product so much, I use it constantly. It leaves a red tint and slightly glossy finish without feeling oily and gross. It also smells amazing and moisturizes wonderfully. The best part is that if I don't feel like carrying around a lip balm, lipstick, and gloss with me, I can just take this and I have all 3 in 1! I highly recommend this product to everyone.

Concealers -Hard Candy - Glamoflauge Concealer
CristinaIsabel 6/12/2011 4:17:00 PM
Having heard a lot of great things about this concealer, I finally went and got it. I was upset that they only had 3 shades since none of them really matched my skin tone. However, I do like the consistency of the concealer. It was a bit more watery than I expected but once I applied it, it covered everything completely. Overall, I think this concealer is really good and would repurchase it.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Eyeshadow Collection - Petal Pusher (736)
CristinaIsabel 6/12/2011 3:52:00 AM
I have the 2 other 8-pan color icon palettes and they are absolutely fantastic. This one, however, is not as great as they are. I was not going to get this one but decided, "why not?" and went for it. The colors are beautiful in the palette but don't show up the same when you actually apply them. They are also a bit hard to blend. I do like this palette and am not upset over purchasing it though I was disappointed that these shadows weren't as good as the other palettes'.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Eyeshadow Collection - Blue Had Me At Hello (737)
CristinaIsabel 6/12/2011 3:38:00 AM
As I'm sure everyone else who has seen this palette has done, when I first saw it my eyes went straight to the turquoise shadow. It is absolutely gorgeous!! It is so silky and pigmented which is surprising considering Wet n Wild is a drugstore brand. The other colors in this palette are gorgeous as well though I don't think the white browbone color is that great. It is very pigmented but a little chalky though with a primer or base under it, it is perfectly fine. Overall, I would recommend this to everyone because it really is a great product.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - 8-pan Palette "Comfort Zone"
CristinaIsabel 6/12/2011 3:16:00 AM
These is by far the greatest Wet n Wild palette I have ever bought and I know for a fact I will be repurchasing it again and again. The colors are absolutely gorgeous, easily blendable, insanely pigmented, and feel great on your lids. They do not feel cheap at all and have great staying power. I have brown/hazel eyes with green flecks around the pupil and every single shadow in the palette brings out the colors beautifully. I recommend this to everyone but especially those with brown/green eyes. The only cons I have about this product would have to be the packaging since it is quite cheap but the colors inside (looks and quality wise) greatly make up for it. I would like to see the packaging improve a bit but the shadows are perfect just as they are. I remember the old palettes used to be more durable and even came with mirrors which I really liked. If Wet n Wild went back to the quality of packaging they had before (it wasn't the greatest but more durable than the new ones) I feel the palettes would be absolutely perfect.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Trio - Silent Treatment
CristinaIsabel 6/12/2011 3:00:00 AM
Wet n Wild has seriously stepped up their game when it comes to their eyeshadows. They are so beautiful and have amazing staying power. I loved this trio from the second I saw it at the store. I think the 2 lightest colors are best applied with your fingers but the colors are absolutely gorgeous, and the crease color is very beautiful with gold shimmers which only accent the color even further. It's also quite pigmented so it should be applied with a light hand. I think it is definitely worth the $3 and will be repurchasing once I finish it.

Lip Gloss -Revlon - Super Lustrous Lip Gloss (general)
CristinaIsabel 6/12/2011 2:42:00 AM
I actually really enjoy these glosses. The first one I purchased was coral reef because it looked absolutely gorgeous in the tube. I went home and tried it and was not disappointed. It is very pigmented and not heavy on the lips at all. I would definitely repurchase it again. The second one I got was firecracker. I had heard that many people didn't like it since it comes off as more of a watery red but that was actually the reason I decided to purchase it. I don't care much for red on my lips so the watery look of it is absolutely perfect for me though I probably would not repurchase this exact color again. The third and final one I got was pink pop. Initially, I did not care too much for the color when I saw it in the store but after seeing friends wear it and how beautiful it looked on, I decided to get it. I am happy to say it actuallly did look nice on my lips so all in all, it was worth it. My favorite of these is coral reef but I would recommend the others as well.

Lip Treatments -E.L.F. - Studio Conditioning Lip Balm SPF 15
CristinaIsabel 6/12/2011 2:04:00 AM
I purchased 2 of these in the colors mellow melon and peaceful pink. I love these conditioners! They go on super smoothly and actually smell pretty nice. They leave your lips very hydrated and have spf 15 as well so that's an added plus. You get moisture, spf, and beautiful color payoff all in one product. I apply mine with a lip brush and they are actually pretty pigmented so if you wanted to, you could skip lipstick and just wear these. They last quite a long time which is really good since the packaging is a little on the bulky side so I don't generally like to carry them around with me. I think these are well worth the $3 and I plan on repurchasing them as well as trying out a few more.

Lips -MAC - Lustre in Lovelorn
CristinaIsabel 6/12/2011 12:54:00 AM
I initially went into my MAC store planning on buying Angel but I saw this lipstick and I immediately forgot about all about it. This lipstick is so beautiful and goes on incredibly smooth. It also lasts a pretty long time which makes it that much more amazing. It's the perfect pink color for everyday and looks great alone or with gloss over it. I reccommend this to everyone who loves pink lipsticks and I will be repurchasing again.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies
CristinaIsabel 6/12/2011 12:37:00 AM
I love this mascara! A lot of people claim that it clumps, gives a spidery finish, or is hard to come off. Since I began using it, I have not once had clumpy lashes. The formula is a bit wet so all I do to make sure it doesn't clump is apply it from the base of my lashes all the way to the tips in single strokes. I have noticed in other watery mascaras that if you do not use the one-stroke method and opt for the short strokes all the way up method, your lashes will clump greatly. My lashes are naturally curled and pretty long so I don't usually need mascaras to be amazing, however, this mascara really makes them look great. I have even tried it on friends with shorter/straight lashes and as long as you curl your lashes before applying, it works very nicely on them as well. As for it being hard to take off, it comes off a bit too easily for me and I use the waterproof one. The second it gets wet, it comes off without hesitation. Maybe it's just the one I got but either way, it comes off really easily. I will repurchase it though so I'll see if the next tube I get is the same. Overall, I would reccommend this mascara but I would advise the one-stroke method of applying.
