Added to morning skincare routine. Caused painful cystic acne. Tried for a reasonable amount of time, isolated this part of my routine as the possible cause of breakouts, and this was indeed the culprit. I really wanted it to work! Back it goes.

So far, I'm quite impressed. I have to mention, as with all artificial nails, using these requires a level of skill, albeit a lower level than your average professional nail tech. Once secured using the gel, you do need to use the file to blend the barrier of your natural nail and the tip a bit. Wash off the debris and then apply the gel-do not over apply or they will not dry. This is covered in the instructions. While still wet, apply the activator. One layer of each worked for me. Then I followed with a base, color, and posh for shine and quick dry. Within 10 mins the nails were set, in 20, totally dry. I'll update to comment on the actual wear of the product after a week or 2.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies

I think different products work for different lash types. I have short, hardly noticeable eyelashes which have to be curled and topped with a good mascara to make any cosmetic difference in my appearance. Having said that, I love this mascara. It's my new favorite mascara-drugstore or high end. My mascara search is done. Goes on smoothly, no clumping, well pigmented, defines lashes, holds a curl, and doesn't smear. That's all I need in a mascara.

Sunscreen -Aveeno - Active Naturals Continuous Protection Sunblock Lotion SPF 55

Horrible. Hard to blend in. Leaves splotchy white patches on your skin. Everything you don't want in a sunscreen. Thinking of just throwing this bottle away and NEVER re-purchasing.

Still searching for my HG sunscreen, but so far this has been the best. I always come back to it. I use it mainly on my face, neck, and hands-basically any exposed areas after I get dressed. I applies easily without leaving a white cast. Does not break me out. Skin stays the same shade reguardless of season. Quite portable-I purchase the travel size, and at $.99, it's great buy!

Purchased gift sets for the ladies in my office along w/the lip gloss and body wash. Decided to get myself the lotion as well since they were all pretty affordable @ $16 each. Loved the smell of the lotion in store when I tried the sample. Very sweet in uncomplicated-which I've found that guys like for some reason. Anywho, had to drive 30 mins home from Sephora. With my hands so close under my nose, I noticed that the scent was as strong as the moment I applied for the entire ride home. It even lingered a bit after I washed my hands. Kinda grew tired of it quickly. May return my lotion, but the packaging, the variety of items, and the price makes it a great holiday gift in my opinion.

Tinted Moisturizer -Clinique - Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturizer SPF15

#6 is a perfect color match for me. I've tried several tinted moisturizers and this my first match (MAC NC42). I applied with my MAC 187 and set with Makeup Forever HD Powder. I was pleasantly suprised by the longevity of this product. It's stayed on all day! My blush lasted wonderfuly as well.

Love this. My skin is shot to hell right now due to acne and trying a new topical med that purges before it improves. I also have hyperpigmentation. Provides great coverage (paired w/a good concealer, or course). The toast color is the best foundation match I've ever found-and I've tried lots of foundations! Also, doesn't melt off after a few hours.

This is a good product. I'm shocked. I've tried quite a few HE products and this is comprable if not better. The texture is not what I expected, but it glides on your face like a dream. Foundation stayed put for about 6 hours. Previously, it would stay on about 3. I'm still on the hunt for my HG primer, but I'm closer than I've ever been.

Ugh...this is horrible. Moved my liquid foundation around my face in weird ways. It's not an application issue-it's a product issue. Tried pea size, a little more, a little less...same results. Liquid foundation does not settle well when I use this-even after I set with powder. Also didn't make my foundation last any longer. Waste of my money and time. I returned it.

Love this color...I've tried sunbasque and peachtwist, but this is the color that I was searching for. beautiful and unique deep glowing peach. This may be my favorite blush for the summer.

Conditioner -Carol's Daughter - Black Vanilla Leave-In Conditioner

Useless. I will never try another Carol's Daughter hair product again. Replaced my usual leave-in with this one. Also tried the shampoo. My hair felt like straw. Horrible. Had to rush to the store and buy my regular leave-in to restore my hair to normal-it looked wild like Chaka-Khan.

It took me a while to figure out what in my makeup routine was giving me cystic acne-which is horrible b/c I also have hyperpigmentation. After posting on the makeup board and through a little trial and error, I've discovered that it is this product. Returned. Horrible product. Just horrible. It's taken months for these acne scars to fade.

Brows -Revlon - Brow Fantasy

Love it! My sister has been using brow pencils for quite some time. She let me try heres in Dark Brown, and I loved it! I have thick brows that I keep arched. The brow pencil adds that bit of polish that I've been looking for. My eyebrows can get a little unruly too. The gel corrects this problem.
