Eye Shadow -New York Color - City Duet in Upper Zest Side
Crescent 3/25/2011 10:46:00 PM
I think I'm in Love. I Can FINALLY do my desired rainbow look. *dies* I've been looking for a Yellow and orange for forever. ~Plus they're Matte. ~The Pigmentation isn't the Most opaque, BUT For a Yellow eyeshadow its AMAZING. D: Although, if you use the right base/primer, they are Completely opaque. ~TRUE yellow and orange ~Packaging is Nice, not too bulky and is sturdy. ~$3, for 2 uncommon colors? Hells yeah 8D ~buy again? Definitely.

Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - Face Secrets Facial Cleansing Brush
Crescent 3/12/2011 9:22:00 PM
I Love this! O_O The reason I got this Was because i've been pinning for a Clarisonic or the Olay version, But I REALLY don't have the money to do that. I was So happy to find this at my Sally's for $2! Similar to them without that price tag and the electronic part. ~At first touch, I thought It'd be too Soft to exfoliate at all, BUT that's definitely NOT the case. Its Great at exfoliating. ~Much more reliable then an exfoliatar, since you can't break out from this. ~Very sturdy, so you'll know for a fact it won't break or snap in half. ~CHEAP. $1.99 or less w/ a sally's card. ~Comes With a Brush Cap To keep it clean. BUT people... Remember to let it dry first or else bacteria or mold may grow... THE Only reason I find that it would be a con is the fact that it may be slightly rough on really sensitive skin. EVEN though in some reviews I've seen say its Way too Soft, But I don't understand way people would think that...

Palettes -E.L.F. - Beauty Book - Eye Brights Edition
Crescent 3/11/2011 7:37:00 PM
I REALLY hate to say this but I HATE this with a Burning passion... and No, I'm not a brand snob (I've never even bought them). I've recently have been on a Elf Kick because my target finally acquired elf. :D Though I found this at A ross for like $4.46 and the colors looked Beautiful and I heard and that they're dupes for the UD stuff. While on my Elf kick, All the products I found were Great. But This was horrible and the most expensive out of the stuff I bought. ~Little to NO pigmentation(4 or 5 of them) unless you have some really good primer or base. ~chalky! The only decent shadows in this palette in my opinion is the burgundy, blue, brown, taupe(upper right hand), and The slightly okay Purple. But other then that the others are USELESS. >_____> I Really don't get how the swatches look so nice but this palette sucks. I wish i would've spent the money on another Wet n wild palette.

Makeup Brushes -Sonia Kashuk - Retractable Foundation Brush w/ Magnetic Removable Head
Crescent 3/5/2011 10:37:00 PM
Its Regularly $11.99 at Target, but I bought it for a whopping $2.98 on clearance! I think the magnetic part of it is kinda cool, even though it does sorta rattle... And since it is Magnetic, you can be sure to deep clean the brush easier. I for one, wouldn't use this as a foundation brush because it isn't dense enough; I do use it as a concealer brush though. Then again retractable things usually are smaller for a reason... As for the packaging, Its Very sleek and compact. Its just the rattling that's the problem, but you could always detach it form the shaft and use it as a kabuki concealer/foundation brush. Buy again? At full price, Heck No... But maybe if it is on sale/clearance again.

Liquid -Rimmel - Renew & Lift SPF 15
Crescent 3/5/2011 9:09:00 AM
I bought this Foundation awhile ago on clearance for a little less then three dollars, I believe. PROs: ~PUMP With GLASS Bottle. Very sanitary and not to bad to look at. ~Decent coverage I'd say medium-ish. ~not too Cakey ~goes on pretty nicely ~nice fragrance but... CONs: ~This would of been one of my favorites, but it Broke me out... Badly. Before I never use to get any acne on my cheeks and now I do... DX ~Then I checked the back of the bottle, and i wasn't surprise on why I broke out anymore. It Has FIVE parabens, Talc, and Fragrance. Its a foundation death trap for acne prone or sensitive skin. I'd only suggest this foundation if your a person with Tough skin that doesn't break out.

Polishes -China Glaze - Crackle Glaze - Black Mesh
Crescent 2/26/2011 8:04:00 PM
I was So Freaking Ecstatic when I found this at my Sally's today, since I never found OPI's Black Shatter. Then I died a little on the inside when I noticed the Whole display was basically sold out, so I was all panicked and asked the sales clerk if They had more. Thankfully, there were still black meshes in the Back. (SO don't be afraid to ask if there more) And apparently I came right on time, since the sales person was saying how they Just put them out the day before and sold 8 of them, And mind you, I was there at 11 Am today. XD Anyways... Its $6.49, but a Sally's Card it's $4.99. ~This is SOOO Cool. I'm in Lust with this Nail polish. ~The First time I tried it I sorta Failed? Because I was too slow with it and used too thin of a coats. So I suggest Getting a good amount on your brush and working fast. ~It Dries Pretty Fast too. ~It Also dries Matte or semi-matte. So Use a Top coat if you want it shiny(Obviously). ~You also will have the texture on your nails, But I Like it and if you don't, Too bad for you? or layer a crap load of top coat on? The ONLY Problem I found... ~ Is that it does sorta Goop up on the brush shaft a bit. All in All, I Completely Recommend it!

Blush -Maybelline - Expert Wear Blush in Romantic Plum
Crescent 2/26/2011 4:09:00 PM
>____> I Bought this today at target because it was the last Maybelline blush left AND not to mention it was just $1.12 on clearance, So I thought "Why Not?". Anyways...since I got quite a nice deal I was pretty happy when I got home But... This Stuff Completely BLOWS. :T It definite not a "Plum"-like shade at all. (Which I knew while I was buying it...) its actually more of a pink blush. Pigmentation wise: it sucks... I basically had to scrub my brush into it to get any product off considering it is pressed so hard into the pan.. I DON'T recommend buying this to anyone... Not even Very fair girls since I doubt it'd show up on them either,

Polishes -OPI - Conquistadorable Color
Crescent 2/20/2011 5:10:00 PM
This is actually one of my staple Keep-Going-Back-To colors for my toes. Although at First the only reason I got it was the fact it was on sale for $1.67 at JCPenney! Sometimes it looks like a blood red in some lighting, But most of the time its a raspberry color. Its So Opaque with one coat. AND it dries pretty fast. All is all I'm SO Happy I bought it awhile ago.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon #252B Nutty
Crescent 2/15/2011 9:15:00 PM
This is my Favorite everyday shade to use when I'm running late or just to lazy to do anything. It is great to just slap on with some eyeliner and head out the door. I've been Dieing to get MAC's Satin taupe, but I'm way to poor to pay 14? bucks on a single eyeshadow. So I was Ecstatic to hear about a close Dupe for $2. And as with the other single shadows from WnW, I love the packaging, small compact, with still a lot of product AND No Unnecessary packaging for extra stupid applicators and what not.

Eyeliner -Femme Couture - Gel Eyeliner in Navy
Crescent 2/14/2011 11:05:00 PM
This has to be My HG Eyeliner now!!!!!!! it was on clearance for 2.99 but I got it half price of that on new years. So Yes I've been using it for 2 months now so I think I'll be able to review it properly. PROS~ ~Cheapest Cream/gel Eyeliner! Even WnW didn't beat it. ~Extremely Creamy Texture. So soft. X3 ~Decent pigmentation. (may have to go over 1 more time though) ~Could use as eyeshadow base if you wanted. ~Actually Sets Quickly without eyeshadow. ~Minimal smudging. (Of which the wnw Even gave me panda eyes on my oil slick lids) ~Looks as fresh as it did when you put it on. ~Packaging is pretty air tight (mine is still just as creamy as the First day) and sleek... ~Comes off easily with makeup remover or soap. CONS~ ~I think it's maybe discontinuing.. DX Oh When I bought it, I thought I was going to have a problem with it being navy (Love the color but wearing blue everyday?) and there weren't any in black BUT you can just set it with black eyeshadow and wah-la. Another thing I'd like to say is that this is THE only product I've EVER bought a back up of, which I bought today, and i'm not even close to finishing my first liner yet.

Liquid -Rimmel - Stay Matte Foundation
Crescent 1/1/2011 11:05:00 PM
I Saw it on sale for 3.50-ish, so i decided to try it out. PROs: ~Good Coverage ~Packaging is Sanitary(I applaud Rimmel for that) ~Is matte ~Lasts a decent amount of time CONs: ~Thick (am I the only one who thinks that?) ~Cakey ~Extenuates my blemishes/dry spots ~Sorta streaky(Unless blended A lot) Overall: I Will not be Buying this again. Although it has more Pros, the Cons are Just TOO problematic and outweigh the those pros, in my mind. So... I Wouldn't recommend this too Anyone with dry skin, But if you have Oily skin with no dry spots at all, go for it, i guess?

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Single in Brulee
Crescent 12/30/2010 10:42:00 PM
One of My HG Eyeshadows. I Literally use it EVERYDAY for either a lid color to brighten my eyes or as a highlight. Its REALLY soft and pigmented. I Love how its matte. THE only bad thing I could say about this would be the packaging. Don't get me wrong, Its sleek and Thank gawd for its non-unnecessary Bulky-ness.(That MANY Single Eyeshadows Have). But It was mine was really hard to open and close, it actually broke the shadow(I fix it though) and I Know I probably got a bad one Considering my other eyeshadow in nutty was perfectly okay, I just wish the packaging was more constant.

Eye Shadow -NYX - Trio TS3 - Nude Taupe Dark Brown
Crescent 12/29/2010 12:30:00 PM
I Love this. I really just bought it for the dark brown(But since it was just $2 or $3 more for 2 more shades, I went with this instead of the single) The Nude and taupe shades are both shimmery. The dark Brown is matte. Pros: ~Last a pretty decent amount of time ~They are All Very pigmented. ~Packaging Is Pretty sturdy(itself) with a good mirror if your on the go ~Blends easily ~Soft( I dunno about you but I like my eyeshadows soft) ~ No fallout from what I can tell ~Good for a Natural everyday look Cons: ~Since I'm pretty tan, the Nude and Taupe Pretty much look alike on me. ~Hence the Taupe it WAY to light for my liking. When I bought this I turned down a bag because it was the only thing I Bought. Well it fell out of my jacket onto Hard garage-like concrete(Pretty dramatic fall) and the packaging survived unscathed & the nude and dark brown too. But the taupe had gotten a bit chipped at the bottom but not extremely. Although as I sad before, the nude and taupe are pretty much the same on me so I didn't really care about it. OVERALL: I Still Love this For the nude and Dark brown and if i ever run out I'll be sure to get a new one.

Lip Treatments -SoftLips - French Vanilla spf 15
Crescent 12/5/2010 5:49:00 PM
~*Pros:*~ -Nice vanilla smell (EXACTLY like Lucky Charm marshmallows) -Smooth -Light Weight ~*Cons:*~ -Not Long lasting -Not much product -Tastes Plasticy? -For fuller lips: you'll have to go over your lips an additional amount of times to coat them because of the small surface. Overall I like it. But it's not the most moisturizing, so probably might not buy it anymore.

Lips -Chapstick - (All Flavors)
Crescent 11/27/2010 1:48:00 PM
When I was Little I remember my Parents ALWAYS buying Chapstick(Even now), Because it was the Standard Most Well known. Though back then I remember Absolutely HATING it as a kid... I Had always thought "Why are my parents rubbing this stuff on me when it Just dries up my lips more." Is Still Believe that to this Day. So Obviously I've ventured out into different brands. And pretty much ALL the other brands I've tried over the past couple of years are better then the Chapstick brand. The packaging is convenient yet unconvenient at the same time. It is Small and Portable, but its very easy to lose because of that. To sum it up this review: I don't like it.
