I tried this product on recommendation from a friend and it seemed amazing at first. My skin looked really nice and it was healing some blemishes. It didn't clog my skin either which is great because it's a thick white paste. Since it has 10% titanium dioxide, I put it on my chest too since titanium dioxide is a really great sunscreen that blocks both UVA and UVB, and I am pretty photosensitive. Later, though, I got really itchy and assumed it was the first signs of sun getting my skin sensitive as it does every spring. So I took a benadryl. The next day, I put a the nixoderm on a few spots on my forehead where I had some blemishes still and when I looked in the mirror maybe an hour later, I was red in only those spots. So that might explain why my chest was itchy even with such a high amount of titanium dioxide (I don't know how the sun could have gotten through that!) So I must be allergic to something in there. I'm not to salicylic acid, unless the extra .5% is too much, I'm not to titanim dioxide, and its possible it's the sulfur in a high amount or to the benzoic acid, though I'm having trouble finding anything about reactions to that ingredient online. So this would probably work really well for most people, since it's nice and simple, but I guess for very sensitive skin we have to stick to spot treatments or nothing. I also put a dab on my daughters milia and she also was a little red, but I didn't connect it then. If you are looking for this, you can find it in most urban beauty shops. This product is from Nigeria, so if you live in any neighborhood that has an African, African American, or black population you might be able to find it in the ethnic beauty shops.
Hair Color -L'Oreal - HiColor High Lift Hair Color

Wow. For how quickly this fades and how DAMAGING it is, I would never do it again. It's just not worth it. Yea vibrant, for five minutes. Waste of time, healthy hair, and excitement. I'm glad I didn't do my whole head.

I got this as a sample and I was impressed. I'm used to serums, but not creams. I don't dry or straighten my hair normally, I just look for ways to tame frizz, and figured this could work even on non-heat treated hair. First I just tried it on wet hair and let it air dry, as I normally do. It seemed to help with frizz and give it a nice bouce without being sticky. Then the next time, I tried it on my bangs and straightened them, just to see how well it would hold up under heat. Some products gloop up, and even though I don't heat treat a lot, I don't want to be putting that in my hair. It didn't do that. My bangs actually felt really soft. I was surprised. It says in the directions to pay attention to your ends, which I'm careful of because I don't want anything to dry them out, and when I straightened my bangs, the ends did seem a little dryer than the rest. I'm not sure if I should go with less or more product there. I will keep you posted if I find a solution. But overall I'm glad I tried this and will continue to use it as a frizz tamer.
I bought this after getting a free sample of some of the other products in the line. I was looking on here for a review for a while but it seemed to take a while, so I just tried it. I agree with the first commenter. It does make it shiny and tame some frizz, it smells pretty nice and makes it feel soft, for a little while. It does seem to make my hair tangly and maybe even a little dry the next day, which is why I return all my dry oils. I'm going to give it a little longer, right now I think it's ok. If I feel it's damaging I won't keep it. Also the top leaks if its not straight up.
I bought this and read the reviews. I was careful not to get it near my damaged cuticles because people said it could hurt. I did get it near one part and it did sting, but overall I was careful and only felt that once. As far as how it works, I'm extremely impressed. My nails ALL broke after polishing too much and they were a short, cracked mess. I've been using this for about a month and it's definitely helping them grow. I don't know that it makes them grow, but it helps stop them from cracking more so they *can* grow. It's a slow process, but they are growing and do feel stronger, even though the cracked tips are still visible. It's going to be a while before they are tototally ok, but at least it's going in that direction.
I actually like this a lot. After swatching 100 concealers and powder foundations at Ulta, I decided to get this one. It matches better than some of the lines that have a greater variety of shades (not a single Bare Minerals matched), even though this only comes in two (light and dark). I use this as a concealer, however, so it could be different as a full face foundation. I love the consistancy of it. I feel it covers my blemishes and dark circles well, it doesn't cake and it's not oily like so many of them feel. It doesn't seem to break me out which is a miracle, and yes, it's thick but you can spread it. I don't have any negative effects like caking or oil spots. People have actually asked why I look so good, and I think this is part of it. It's not cheap, and so I hope it lasts and doesn't dry out, but I would probably repurchase this. I'm pretty happy with it.
Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Sensational-Coral Crush

I was dying for this color. I wanted it to look more like the third picture but it comes out more like the ones later on, a darker pink. This is a more pink coral, and quite bright. It's not my favorite color like I hoped, but I still wear it. I like it enough but probably won't repurchase. I got a good price as well so that keeps me happy. I totally love the Vivid color in Shocking Coral, but you can't wear that everywhere while this is a bit more wearable for day time/work.
This is such a strange color. I debated returning it for some time. But I think I kept it just in case I need an oddly orange lipstick. It doesn't look horrible on me, which is interesting enough in itself. The formula I have no problem with. It's soft and creamy on me and doesn't cause drying.
I was totally unsure if I liked this or not. It seems darker on me than all of the pictures shown here. Almost an orange red, and a bright one at that. But I oddly like it. Like it's almost good because it's bad. It feels nice too, but the smudge factor is high if you come into contact with anything. I did wear it out all night and re applied, but it looked great even at the end. Since I got it during a sale, I'm happy about the price. I probably won't re buy when I run out, but I like it for now.
Tools -Unlisted Brand - Beauty Secrets Manicure Cuticle Remover/Pusher

I bought this at my local Sally's. It comes in a clear plastic slip and the label and item are both white and purple. This cutter is so much better than the revlon one I returned! The "V" is a percise shape and it makes cutting cuticles a breeze! Really happy with it!
I bought this from amazon in a bottle with a dropper and I use it in hair/scalp masks with coconut and almond oil along with other essentials. People ask if my hair grew so I hope it's working! Also the hair masks have helped my hair in general :)
I actually got this as an exchange after being let down by the other Nyx's I purchased. This was the last one and once I bought it, I swatched it next to the stores tester and it did come out differently. That's an issue since it caused me to think I would like some colors more yet they came out much worse in the package. (New formula? What's going on?) At any rate, this is still nice enough. Darker than the tester, shimmery but not as much, and not glittery thank god. I basically am trying to replace that natural brown pink smokey look that I got from Revlon Colorstay Mineral Eyeshadow. It's a little too tame but we'll see how it fares. Update: Been using this a lot more and I like it. It's a nice smokey color without being TOO brown or too black/grey. Warm toned. Nice compliment on me.
I bought this after extensive swatching, and for some reason it comes out very bland color wise. Not very pigmented and basically looks like my skin with a little shimmer. I'm disappointed in all my purchases today. I wonder if it's the store or did Nyx change their formula? I kept this, but I'm not sure if I will in the long run yet. Will have to try it out some more. Update: In the end I decided to keep this and the other ones I kept since. It is very faint but useful for some looks.
Disappointed. I waited a long time for a Nyx sale, had a bunch of products in mind after extensive swatching. I'm sort of looking for a replacement for my Revlon Colorstay Mineral Eyeshadow, which I actually liked. Something beigey, brown and smokey pinks. I returned two, this one I kept, but I will have to see how it holds up after a few trials. Update: I am liking this more and more. A subtle pink but gives an overall nice look. Compliments my tone well.
I am SO disappointed in this shadow, and almost all the ones I bought today. I had been waiting ages for a sale, and finally it happened. I swatched a ton previously, and decided on this as one of them, yet when I opened it after purchasing and tried it, it was faint, had a ton of fall out, and full of glitter. What!? The one I swatched was shimmery, not glittery. And the color payoff was horrible. Really wanted a color like the one shown. But for some reason it wasn't it. Did they change the formula!? Big let down. Returned it.
