Lip Gloss -Prescriptives - Paints in Champagne

Wow, what a gorgeous color! I couldn't decide whether to buy Tea or Champagne at first as i was buying sight unseen, but decided on Champagne after reading the reviews here. It's a gorgeous neutral pinky peach, very flattering, very moisturizing. The matte part looks somewhat shimmery on my lips as well. I actually prefer to layer them instead of wearing them separately, so i put on a heacy layer of matte side and top it off with gloss. Add a neutral lip liner- and you get instant stunning lips. Quickly becoming my favorite, good thing i bought a bunch as they got DCd.

Blush -Paula Dorf - Peek-a-Boo Cheek Color Cream
CoolKitten 9/4/2006 12:22:00 PM
I got this in a swap as extra, so i actually didn't spend the $$$ on it. This is my first cream blush, and i was a bit afraid to use it for fear of streaking. I used Flirt skunk brush on it and quite liked the effect. It gave me sheer, subtle natural color that lasted all day without fading. It blended well and didn't streak at all. The only thing i found unpleasant is the slight chemical smell when applying it- but since i haven't actually smelled a brand new one i'm prepared to believe that mine might've turned some. I only smelled it when actually applying, and then it went away. The blush itself doesn't have the odor at all. I won't pay $19 for it simply because IMO it's not worth it. It's pretty but doesn't look better on me than say my Milani blushes for $3.

Makeup Brushes -Flirt - Feather Dust-her (aka Skunk Brush)
CoolKitten 9/4/2006 12:14:00 PM
First off, the price is cheap, cheap cheap! If you're not looking for quality this is the way to go. Even if you don't like it it's only $6 out of pocket. Of course it can't hold a candle to MAC 187, but then what can? :) I got it for travel purposes since i refuse to pack my MAC brushes in luggage. Yeah it's crap, it's cheaply made and it sheds like mad and splays right after being opened, but it's usable and it'll serve its purpose. Right now i'm using it for my Paula Dorf cream blush since i don't want to gunk up my 2 187s. So in conclusion- if you have no $$$ and desperately want a skunk brush- get it, if you're looking for quality and longevity- pony up $42 and get MAC 187.

Eye Shadow -Cargo - Cargo - Eye Shadow - Mojave

WOW ia all i have to say. I purchased this from a member on another board because i thought i might like the color. All i can say- move over Sunplosion! Gorgeous, blendable amazing color with great staying power. Does have a bit of a fall-out because it's super-soft. Huge tin, it'll last a lifetime even though i use it very often. The only thing i don't like is the size- it's just a bit larger than Stila so i can't put it in a palette. Other than that it's a total winner. Adds a zing to a neutral eye, i love pairing it with MAC woodwinked and Antiqued.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Overgrown
CoolKitten 4/27/2006 7:14:00 PM
I was super-excited when this came out, and ordered it almost immediately. I originally wanted Bitter, but thought than Overgrown's satin finish will wear better than Bitter's matte. Wrong! It looks gorgeous when first applied, but the staying power is non-existent. I use a base with CCB on top for extra tackiness and it still manages to wear off in an hour. So it's either carry it around and constantly touch up or wear something else. Still, the color is very pretty. If it wasn't LE i would not rebuy it.
