Makeup Brushes -Unlisted Brand - Posh Kabuki Brush

Absolutely luv this brush. I've tried many kabuki brushes, but this one is by far is the best in terms of quality, softness, usage, and price. On the first wash it lost about 12 hairs, but after that there is no shed even with my "pull" test. After paying big bucks for quality brushes, I still cannot believe I can get a great brush for $15.00.
Lipstick -Rimmel - Rich Moisture - Heather Shimmer

I'm used to be a MAC lipstick girl until I found Rimmel Rich Moisture lipsticks. I've been using it for four years now and have not gone back to MAC since. The quality of this lipstick is great: long wearing and moisturizing. This colour is lovely for my Asian skin tone. When I'm wearing colourful eye shadows I want my lipstick colour to be neutral but pretty. This Heather Shimmer colour does it well. MAC lipsticks do not last as long and they are more drying on my lips than Rimmel. I got them on sales for less than $4.00 and I have them in several other colours. If you like a matte finish, this is not for you. I have full big lips and they require lots of moisturizing so this is great for me.
I've got this trio eye shadows in TS23 (Lagoon, Aqua, Ocean). Must say I love this. The colour pigment is bright, texture is smooth and velvety, it lasts, and looks so pretty on the eyes. I was a little concerned about the brightness of the colour in the pot, but I was surprised to see how beautifully it wears. The colours are tastefully hipped as opposed to tackily flashy. I'm a fan of MAC eye shadows, and this is of the same quality if not better. The packaging is convenient for travelling. It has a little mirror and a decent double ended sponge applicator, a well thought out design for usability.
Powder -Lancome - Dual Finish Versatile Powder Makeup

I've been using this for a couple of years and am very happy with it. I've tried other powder foundations like Chanel, MAC, MUFE, but like this one more because it provides a smooth and matte finish without looking thick or emphazing pores. A lot of people complained that this is expensive. It has 19 grams of powder and lasted me more than a year (I use it daily with powder brush and use the sponge when I travel). If you look at $$$ per gram, this is slightly more expensive than MAC, but a lot cheaper than Chanel, MUFE, LM.
I use Peach Mocha and Plum Wine. These two colours wear very nicely on my asian skin. My lips are on the dry side especially in the winter so most lipsticks cause my lips to dry at the end of the day. I must say the Moisture Extreme are the exception. The moisture effect lasts the whole day for me. When the colour wears off, the lipstick leaves a stain of colour, which is very nice. At this point, I just add a bit of lip balm. CONS: the packaging is cheap and the colour selection is not great for my Asian skin tone. Out of the whole range of colour, I can only use the two mentioned above. The texture of the lipstick varies depending on the colour you choose. I tried "That's Mauve" at the store, I liked the colour but hated the texture.
I've got this mascara as a bonus for my Skin True foundation. I couldn't believe how nice this mascara is: no smudging, no iritation, easy to wash off, feel natural, nice brush with the right amount of mascara. For a natural look, this is it. Mascara is not one of my regular makeup item, but I'll definitely repurchase.
Liquid -Annabelle - SkinTrue Natural Lightweight Makeup

It blends well, gives a light to medium coverage, finishes to a soft matte. I use it as a concealer for under my eyes and around the nose and as eye makeup base. It works great for me. I always use loose powder ontop of foundation/concealer and so far it lasts all day. I have combination skin that is prone to acne and this product does not break me out. The tube package is convenient and hygenic. I'm happy with the product and will buy it again.
I have acne prone skin and my clogged pores often turn my backheads into red blemishes often. This product does what it claims: deep cleansing. After using this product for over a year, I no longer have blemishes and all blackheads are cleared. It doesn't dry out my skin. I used Neostrata oil free foaming gel cleanser for years and recently it stoped working for me, not to mention Neostrat keeps raising the price and has become very expensive. Vichy Normaderm cleanser is much cheaper.
Shampoo -Clairol - Herbal Essences Shampoo (Normal Hair)

I have coarse and wavy asian hair and this product works for me. It cleans well without stripping and makes my hair less tangled. I always use conditioner for my hair. I used to use the Daily Defense for normal hair and like this one better as it's less drying.
Makeup Brushes -MAC - 224 Tapered Blending (Windshield Wiper) Brush

For a sheer application of medium to dark color eye shadows to the crease, this brush is excellent. I also use it to apply face powder all over my eyelids before applying e/s. However, this brush is not for a precise application of eye shadows because it's soft and spreads easily. I use MAC #217 when I want a more precise control and when I want to pack more color. I have the #224 for over five years, use it every day, and it still looks like new.
I have short lashes and sensitive eyes and I am very happy with this mascara. My lashes do look great and appear longer, my eyes do not get irritated at the end of the day like other mascaras I've tried (Loreal, Maybelline, Almay, Max Factor, and MAC), it doesn't smear, it can be removed easily, and it doesn't make my lashes brittle. Other people complained that it weighted their lashes down, but I didn't experience it at all. I only need to apply one coat. The brush can be made shorter.
