Crème -Revlon - ColorStay Whipped Creme Makeup

This is definitely my "go to" foundation. I apply it with an ELF powder (flat top) studio brush and it's amazing. I get full, even coverage, and it doesn't "set" as quickly as the liquid version so I've got more time to work with it and blend out lines and such. It covers my rosacea really well and leaves me with a smooth, clean canvas to apply the rest of my makeup on. It's not as "budge proof" as the original liquid, but I still like it tons better. The jar is pretty cumbersome, but I don't usually touch up my foundation throughout the day, so it doesn't bother me. Overall, I really, really love this foundation. I'm already moving on to my 4th jar! Yesterday at the dentist, after working all day, the assistant said, "Your makeup always looks so fresh. What kind do you use?" so even after a full day of work, it was working it's magic on my red, rosacea prone skin!

Wow, talk about a divided camp! Definitely a love or hate smell, eh? Well, sign me on for the "love it" side. I could wear this every day and never tire of it and you're looking at woman who owns several hundred fragrances....I dig this stuff. Like, a LOT!

I love this fragrance. I used to wear it when I was younger, and before that I wore "A Little Sexy" which is a knock off. Good stuff, tons of compliments. Must work with my chemistry.

Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Extra Virgin Olive Oil

I'm so glad I stumbled across this! I read reviews for EVOO and it's many uses and thought I'd give it a try. So far, I've used the oil cleansing method to remove my makeup by using two pumps of the EVOO (I put in a travel lotion type pump bottle) and smearing all over my face while it's dry. This pretty much liquifes all my makeup and makes me look like I have a gray face! LOL! Then I wash it all off with The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil cleanser because I naturally have fairly oily skin. This gets rid of all the residue and leaves my skin clean and soft. Then I use the Tea Tree Oil toner and moisturizer and a drop of EVOO under each eye. My fine lines are much less since doing this. I've also put a travel size lotion pump bottle in my shower and after I've finished showering, I put a few pumps in my hand and rub it all over my body. After stepping out of the shower, I pay myself dry. I found, even with as dry as our Southern California winter has been, I've needed NO lotion, no additional moisturization, and my skin looks fabulous. I've also noticed my fragrances last longer because my skin is more moisture rich. LOVE THIS STUFF! I won't waste my money on lotions anymore, unless they're the scented kind I'm using simply for layering scent. For straight up moisture, nothing comes close. HG status, for real.

Wow. How did I live without this for so long? I've ALWAYS struggled with dry, flaky, chapped looking lips. So, I read about this stuff on MUA and decided that I'd find some. So I bought some Friday and used it through the weekend. Here it is Tuesday and I have luscious, soft lips, capable of looking smooth regardless what lipstick I'm using. This is HG for me now. No going back. I'm also starting to use it on my rough and ragged cuticles...hopefully with as good results!

Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Cranberry Joy Body Butter
CoconutCutie 1/6/2012 2:24:00 PM
I stocked up on a bunch of these products (body butter, hand cream, body spray, lip balm, body scrub and shower gel) during the 50% off "Joy" bag sale while they were discounted after Christmas...so I got a ton of stuff and barely cleared $50 (I also got a bunch of the strawberry stuff too)...in any event, I bought it blind unsniffed online because it sounded good and it was dirt cheap and I am SOOOO glad I did! It's fruity without smelling like Hannah Montana perfume, KWIM? I absolutely love this stuff and am glad I stocked up since I won't be able to buy more until next Christmas. Luckily I think I bought enough to take me through! It's crisp and tart and sweet all at the same time. I am really enjoying this smell but might not be able to pull it off in the middle of So Cal Summer as it would get cloying, but for the slightly cooler winter/spring/fall temp, it's perfect. Will be in heavy rotation for sure.

Fragrances -Crabtree & Evelyn - Rosewater Eau Fraiche

I love the scent of this Rosewater! True, as others have mentioned, it's not the longest lasting, but have found that using a drop or two of the environmental oil on the pulse points does help increase that to a much longer lasting scent. In fact, I used the shower gel, lotion, fragrance spray and then a drop or two of the environmental oil on my wrist and behind my ear this morning and here it is, about 8 hours later, and I can still smell it. This is a beautiful rose scent.

I've purchased this set a couple times now and still I really enjoy it. I'm a daily patchouli wearer (I know, don't come mob me in my sleep, those who hate patchouli) and this layers wonderfully with it as it has a touch of spice and patchouli under the fruity topnotes. I HAVE found that there are people that this smells TOTALLY different on so whatever their ingredients/fragrances used are, they definitely are sensitive to a person's individual chemistry. On some people (of which I am one of the lucky), it smells divine. On others it takes on a cough syrup scent. On yet others, it starts to smells like fruit that's been out on the counter a few days too long. So, my best advice is to try a bit out, cruise the mall and see how you fare. Maybe even resolve that you won't buy it that day, but will see what reviews you get from others (since it often smells different to others than what our noses end up telling us after a time) and THEN make the determination as to whether to buy it. It is definitely a love/hate fragrance and I think it's largely based on personal chemistry. My husband loves this though and the majority of compliments I receive are from men...that's pretty telling. Overall, a sexy & deep fragrance with much better sillage and longevity than the typical BBW fragrance.

Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Moonlight Path Body Lotion
CoconutCutie 11/8/2011 5:59:00 PM
Two of my favorite scents are lavender and musk. Because musk tends to be a skin scent and sticks close to the body, I have a hard time finding one with good enough sillage that I like. THIS has solved that problem. It's a beautifully combined scent that lingers on and on. When I wear this I get compliments from men and women alike. In the grocery store, out walking around, at work, etc. I love this stuff...

Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Moonlight Path Body Splash

Ugh, I get SOOOOO tired of hearing "old lady" comments, as if all ladies over a certain age suddenly begin smelling the same. And that no one under a certain age can find pleasure in something floral, or musky, or lavender. It drives me literally insane. K, rant over. I really enjoy Moonlight Path. It's a subtle fragrance that is a cuddly kind of smell. Men go bananas for this stuff. Probably the musk. I can't pass a guy in a hallway without a comment, or at the very least a head turn with a sniff. Cheap stuff that doesn't smell cheap. A win.

I really, really LOVE this fragrance. So warm and delicious. Mixes well with my chemistry. Opulent amber, rich florals, and a velvety dry down that just wraps you in a golden glow. This is going to be in heavy rotation among my fave fragrances, even if it is Avon - it smells high end...similar to Amarige de Givenchy.

Closest thing I have to a "signature scent" - I love it. It's light and pretty and inoffensive. I get compliments wearing it, but usually when people are close, so I know I don't have a cloud of fragrance gagging everyone around me. I can freshen it up throughout the day without the fear of it getting too cloying on me. Overall a clean, fresh scent that is suitable for all occasions.

I'm really enjoying this scent. I got a bottle with the letters running vertically of the eau de cologne but the bottom sticker still says Five Star, so I don't really know which formulation I have, but I'm assuming it's the re-do. I still like it. At first spray it's a bit intense and you think you aren't going to like it and then about 10 minutes later you think, "What smells so good? Is that me?" You sniff your clothes, and yup, it's you. Love it.

Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Mango Whip Body Lotion
CoconutCutie 6/15/2011 12:26:00 PM
Best. Lotion. Ever. I love this stuff. It's velvety on the skin, smells delicious and the moisturization lasts a long time. Unlike what I found with the butter, this is not greasy and all and absorbs quickly. A fabulous summer lotion, maybe using the butter in the winter on especially dry spots rather than all over. It's quite a bit stronger fragrance-wise than the butter, as someone mentioned, but it smells awesome and everyone I know likes it.
