the product is almost like a very light lotion, not a gel, not greasy at all. it is dispensed from a pen where you click the back of the pen to push the product through. it comes out from a single hole in the middle of a brush applicator. this makes it a little difficult to spread the product and i wind up using a foundation brush or my fingers. the bronze color is gorgeous to add some warmth and a slight sheen to the skin. i would say it's a medium bronze color but goes on much sheerer than it appears. try it before judging, i was pleasantly surprised. the opal comes out white but has a pinkish lilac sheen. this didn't look natural at all on my NC35/40 skin or med-dark bb tinted moisturizer. perhaps it would look better on lighter skin. i did return this and got the bronze which i'm very happy with.
