Shampoo -L'Oreal - Professionnel Absolut Repair shampoo

This is a fantastic shampoo.. I have been looking for a shampoo that can both moisturize and thoroughly cleanse my hair. This does a great job of cleansing and detangling, plus it leaves my hair feeling like silk. My only complaint is the price (expensive) and it is hard to find.. but it's worth it!
I absolutely love this stuff! I use only a pea-sized amount and only on those areas of my hair where I need extra hold as this is very sticky. This does a GREAT job of keeping my bangs out of my eyes (my biggest annoyance) and rinses out very easily. I no longer have to spend 20 minutes fighting with my hair!
I have never been impressed with any of the TiGi shampoos, but decided to try this after reading the MUA reviews. I am so glad I did! I love this shampoo; it cleans very well but leaves my hair soft and shiny. I was using Kerastase Bain Satin 2 and Terax Crema conditioner, but the combination wasn't working for me. I have noticed that the Crema works better with a shampoo that is somewhat clarifying, which this shampoo seems to be. I love the smell too! EDIT: After using this for a week, my hair became very dry and unmanageable.. will NOT be using this again.
I was disappointed with this product, which I used in conjunction with the TNS Dermal Repair cream (which does a good job of masking the smell of the Recovery Complex, by the way). Not only did I not see any improvements, but my skin actually started to look worse after about a week. I don't have many wrinkles, but I looked like I had more after using this product (my skin seemed sort of dry and crepey). Then my face broke out like crazy! I don't know which product caused the breakout, but I went from having clear skin to zits all over my cheeks, so both are going into the trash! I can handle not seeing immediate improvements when trying a new product, but NOT having my skin look worse than it did when I started!
I was disappointed in this website about 5 minutes after I subscribed. First, many of the brands I was interested in are not included on the website. Second, I think the reviews are inadequate; it appears she scans the list of ingredients, makes a judgement based on them, and then writes a scant review. For example, the review for La Prairie Skin Caviar Foundation (which I use and love) is negative based solely on what she believes to be an ineffective sunscreen. I don't think you can effectively review a product without actually using it; I find the MUA reviews to be much more valuable than those on Beautypedia as they are much more informative and based on RESULTS. Don't waste your money on this website.
I can't believe I got sucked into the hype.... this curler does absolutely NOTHING.
Treatments -Z. Bigatti - Re-Storation Skin Treatment

I used the Re-storation creme for about a month, and saw no improvements of any kind in my skin. What's worse is that I would wake up every morning with a few whiteheads on my face, but I wasn't sure what was causing the breakouts since I had changed several products in my skincare routine. Anyway, two nights ago I stopped using this and I haven't had a zit since! So I guess I paid 150.00 for a cream that did nothing but break me out!

I finally decided to give this a try after reading all of the positive reviews, and I'm glad I did. This does a great job of moisturizing my thick, coarse hair. As for the smell - I totally agree with the previous post in that it does smell kind of strange, but definitely not fishy and the smell does fade once your hair is dry. Anyway, I can live with the scent as long as I continue to get these results!
Shampoo -Kerastase - Bain Miroir 2 Shine Revealing Shampoo

This shampoo didn't work for my thick, somewhat dry hair. I just don't think it moisturizes enough although it does leave my hair shiny. What is weird is that after shampooing with this, my hair feels like silk, but as soon as I apply conditioner I start having problems. It is almost like this coats my hair so that the conditioner can't penetrate effectively. I tried several conditioners and had the same problem with all of them, and since I can NOT go without conditioner, I'll go back to my Bain Satin 2.
This is my favorite nail polish brand. I think it's much better than O.P.I. or Essie in terms of application (no streaking), shine, and staying power. And for less than half the price. Unfortunately it is nearly impossible to find so I usually end up purchasing it online.
I first tried this toner about 6 months ago, but quit using because it was so harsh. But recently I suffered a terrible breakout and after reading the reviews, decided to give it another try. This time, I actually followed the directions and used only a FEW drops on a cotton pad, which has made a huge difference. This has cleared up my face in just a matter of days, with no irritation. I think those reviewers who have complained about redness and burning may be making the same mistake I did originally, which is using too much -- a little bit of this goes a long way.
Well, I may be in the minority but this is one of the worst products I have ever used. Made my face break out horribly, and left me with dry, red patches around my nose. It's been about 2 weeks since I stopped using it, and my face is still recovering!
I absolutely love this stuff! Even though it is ridiculously expensive, I have to say it is worth every penny. I use the formula for thick hair, usually twice a week on the same day I use my clarifying shampoo. My hair has never looked healthier... finally I have found a conditioner to combat the dryness I get after coloring.

Not impressed with this conditioner... feels very sticky and doesn't detangle my hair at all. Waste of money!
