Love this product. I use it morning and night followed up by a pea size portion of Kinerase Cream and my aged sun damage skin looks and feels the best it ever has. This stuff has even made my eye lashes longer and fuller. I order it in bulk and have bottles of it everywhere.
HG liner for tight lining. I use Lancome Artliner in Brown for lining upper lid and use Teddy eye kohl to line the inside of my upper and lower lash lines. The staying power is fair but the color is perfect for my blue-green eyes. People who look better in more muted color might want to avoid this but the bronze flecks are good for my light bright coloring, it even makes the whites of my eyes appear whiter.
After trying a sample of this product I was hooked. I went on line to see how much it cost and about fainted, this would be more than I would have paid for any beauty product. After using the whole sample and seeing the results I broke down and bought the full size and do not regret it at all. It is not like having a face lift or any thing but the texture of my skin is very nice.
My HG eyeliner. It goes on smooth and stays put all day long. I use it in Brown with MAC Teddy Brown Eye Kohl to tight line upper and lower lash line. My lashes are long but thin and this combo fills in the spaces and gives me a defined eye without looking overdone. The effect is of a dark bronzed eye which works for me because I need a bit of shine in my makeup. With my mature skin that I need to mattify to control the oil the shine on the eye works.
Palettes -MAC - Pro Colour Palette/Small Eye Shadow

After seeing all the pictures of de-potted e/s in this palette I decided it was time to organize my pots into color groups into the palettes. It took me a while to get the hang of de-potting but after a few times and with enough patience I now have full 15 palettes of neutrals & browns, 2 started with pinks & oranges. I want to get 4 more for my grays, greens, purples & blues. These things are addicting and I love the back to Mac for the empty pots.

I bought this product on a whim. My HG was Studio Fix NW25 for winter & NW 30 for summer. During the season change my NW 30 was looking way too orangy. While at the Chanel counter looking at the nail polish I remembered reading all the raves for this product so I asked the SA to color match me which she did and I thought it looked a little powdery but decided to give it a try. After wearing it a few times I began to notice that my face stayed ok looking even at the end of the day. My skin is that oily kind that looks flat with many foundations that attempt to hold back the oil slick. I started paying more attention to it & found that I like it more and more. Now I even tend to get away with wearing much less other make up. This, some eyeliner, a flick of mascara and a little l/s or gloss and I'm good to go. Love this stuff.
Moisturizers -La Mer - Creme de la mer moisturizer

This stuff is way to heavy for me. I can't believe I got suckered into buying it. Literally sits on my skin and is so sticky that if the wind blows my hair sticks to my face. If you can believe it now I use it on my chest and for cuticle cream. I should have returned it but I am terrible at that. The other day it fell of my dressing table onto my ceramic tyle bathroom floor and the top broke grrrrrrr.
Before MUA this was my HG mascara. I just thought that I had brittle unrully eyelashes. To my surprize when I started wearing better mascara my eyelashes improved. This stuff made my eylashes brittle and clumpy. Have never gone back. My favorite at the moment is L'Oreal Volumeous. I have been looking for Max Factors Lash Perfection without any luck. EDITED 8/30/07 - Started using Great Lash again because I couldn't resist the pink & green packaging. This time I am loving it again and thinking that it is working better because I have been more diligent about using eye makeup remover, currently Sephora'a. My lashes seem soft and accentuated with the combo of emr & Great Lash. My lashes are long. thin, very curly and wiry, this tar, as some have called it, really is the only one that tames my unruly lashes.
After I read all the raves I tried this and was dissapointed because in the first place it didn't even show up on me. I'm MAC NW 25 in the winter. The rubber packaging doesn't do anything for me either. Nars colors just don't seem to do it for me.
Lip Treatments -Smith's Rosebud Salve - Smith's Rosebud Salve

The tin is cute and the product tastes and feels good on but I get this kind of numb feeling after I have it on for a while. It gives me white bumps in the courner of my mouth if I wear it to bed to many nights in a row. Now, I'm back to cherry flavored Chap Stick.
I'm in the love this product camp. My husband bought it for me when it first came out and I've been wearing it every fall/winter since then. The chocolate vanilla scent is a little heavy for spring/summer. I always get compliments on this fragrance. On a trip to Las Vegas a few years ago my brother in law commented on how good I smelled when I told him what I was wearing he took his wife to the store at the airport where we were at the time & bought it for his wife. I like to layer it with the body lotion, which reminds me that I'm out. Time to restock for winter.
Another part of my skin care routine. Leaves my face soft and ready for makeup. The tip of the pump gets a glob of product on the end that interfers with dispensing but other than that I love this stuff. Keeps my oily skin shine free all day.
I use the Tonique Controle as part of my regular skin care routine. It removes any last trace of eye makeup and leaves my face refreshed and minimizes my pores. The whole Lancome Controle line has vastly improved my skin. Pricey but worth it.
Cleansers -Lancome - Gel Controle - Anti-Bacterial Purifying and Cleansing Gel

This part of my HG skin care line. For years I used the Lancome Gel Clarante (the blue one, sorry about the spelling) I liked it but found my mature skin to be oily during the day so I was trying to rectify it by using oil free foundations. I ended up turning orange and getting oily any way. After being on MUA I read reviews and decided to try the Controle line in Lancome. Now my skin stays oil free and makeup stays true colored. The only thing I can attribute it to is getting the skin finally right. I use the Gel, Tonique & Hydra Controle and don't plan on changing. The price is high but worth it IMO.
V2060-O is a warm pink shimmer shadow that goes on like silk and stays true and lovely all day. Brightens up the whole eye area when applied as a wash and even around the outer 1/2 of the lower eye down on to the cheek bone.
