Liquid -Estee Lauder - Nutritious Vita-Mineral SPF 10

I love mineral makeup as it has greatly improved my skin over the years. I wanted to switch from powder to liquid for the my very dry skin in the winter time, so I decided to sample Nutritious. This is the first liquid mineral foundation that didn't accentuate the dry patches on my face, and it does have a nice dewy finish. I settled it with MAC prep & prime finishing powder. While my skin looked perfect for the first 3 hours, it was greasy, very shiny and disappeared for the rest of the day. When I got home that day, I noticed I have 4 new pimples on my face (believe me, I have great skin, I rarely ever get acne, didn't change skincare routine or diet), so I'm quite unhappy. I definitely will not buy the full size.

Liquid -NARS - Sheer Glow Foundation

I rarely put on foundation anymore (and if I do, it would be mineral). However, on days that I want the ultimate flawless look (for photos or to impress haha), I always reach for this foundation because it gives a perfect dewy look which I love, and it matches my light asian skin perfectly (I use Ceylan). The finish is so natural and pretty. I used to use Estee Lauder's Double Wear and while it is a wonderful full-coverage foundation, it just felt too heavy on me. So when I ran out, I tried Nars and fell in love. Nars Sheer Glow is medium coverage (the name of foundation is quite deceiving), but it looks like your skin! It doesn't feel heavy at all, and doesn't accentuate any dry areas esp. in the winter time (unlike many of the foundations I've tried, and I'm very picky - Dior, Lancome, MUFE... etc). This has become my HG!

I looooooove this blush!!! I was hesistant in purchasing it at first because it looked so bright in the pan, but once I had it on, it gave me a perfect natural healthy pink flush! Love!!

My Holy Grail! I love how this serum just sinks right into my face. I constantly receive compliments on how gorgeous my skin is, and this serum definitely helps along with my strict skincare routine and my switch to mineral makeup. Look for deals like gift with purchase!

Toners -Neutrogena - Alcohol-Free Toner

I love this toner! It is inexpensive and alcohol-free. Prior to this, i have been using Aveeno Positively Radiant toner, which is also alcohol-free. While the Aveeno is not bad at all, I found that it did leave a sticky/filmy residue, more fragranced, and contains less product than Neutrogena for about the same price. I have converted to this Neutrogena toner, and my skin has been very happy.

Bronzers -Too Faced - Snow Bunny

My friend recommended me this bronzer, and I absolutely love it! I picked it up on sale for $20CAD. The color is perfect on my fair skin and it gives a very natural glow. I think this will be perfect for the winter time, when I need a little bit more color, but still want the bronzer to look natural and not overdone.

Blush -Stila - Convertible Color Gerbera

The peach color of this blush is absolutely adorable! The only reason I took one lippie off is because when I spread the blush, it takes my foundation off a little bit, so the little bit of redness on my cheeks shows through. Otherwise, this blush gives a natural, cute, and healthy flush.

I love this blush!!! The color is the perfect coral, and it is not too pigmented so it is pretty fool-proof. I also like the light fragrance of this blush.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Waterproof

I'm on my 2nd tube, and even though it is ok for a drugstore mascara, I rarely use this anymore. I find that it clumps my lashes, so even though my individual lashes are fuller, my lashes as a whole still don't seem full b/c of the clumping. Even with a lash comb, the result is still not what I had hoped for. Also, it is very very difficult to remove even with a waterproof eye makeup remover. I have lost several lashes just trying to get the mascara off! I have tried the non-waterproof version and it did absolutely nothing for me, so the waterproof version is better. It doesn't lengthen lashes and it's not supposed to. I do find that this mascara holds a curl extremely well! I have now moved on to Dior Extase and it is working wonders for me, doesn't smudge and is easy to remove. I even get asked whether my lashes are falsies or not!

I love this mascara!!! I have received many compliments on my lashes since I've started using this! My co-worker even asked me if I was wearing falsies! I agree with others that this may not thicken as well as some other mascaras in the market, but it still does a sufficient job in volumizing and it lengthens extremely well, which is exactly what I wanted! Before this, I was using the waterproof CG Lash Blast, and while it gave volume, it didn't lengthen too much and it was impossible to remove! So it didn't really give me those pretty dolly lashes. Although Extase is not waterproof, it doesn't smudge or budge at all, and it comes off easily with cleanser/ eye makeup remover. I will have to see how this mascara holds up in the colder winter months when my eyes tend to become more watery!

Loose Powders -Bare Escentuals - Mineral Veil

I bought this mineral veil along with the BE mineral powder a few years ago. Although I've stopped using the powder, I continue to use this on top of my laura mercier mineral powder. I absolutely love the airbrushed flawless-face effect it gives! I gave it four lippies because the packaging can be quite messy. Although I love this veil, I may try other mineral setting powders in the market when I run out.

Moisturizers -Origins - Make A Difference Skin Rejuvenating Treatment

This is hands down my favorite moisturizer!!! I have been searching a long time for the perfect moisturizer that is oil-free, non-acnegenic, soften and improve skin. While the other moisturizers I've tried are ok, they don't make me go "wow". Before I started using this moisturizer, I broke out from a serum I've tried (from another brand). At first I was skeptical to try a new product, but this moisturizer cleared up my acne really quickly, and has made my skin softer than it has ever been! Also, my skin has stayed perfectly clear ever since its use, and during that time of the month, if I'm unlucky I'll just get one tiny unnoticeable pimple. If you haven't got this moisturizer, go and purchase this already!!! It is worth every penny, my HG!!! Update: My skin has never been better since its use and I now leave the house comfortably without foundation and receive compliments on my skin. :-) My mom and sister have started using this too!!

Fragrances -Christian Dior - j'adore

I have the large bottle of this fragrance and it is definitely a classic. It is very elegant and feminine, and I used to love it!! Unfortunately with time, I started getting migranes whenever I have this on (it may be a little too strong for me). :-( My mom had a bottle herself and she ran out, so I gave mine to her instead.
