Blush -Bobbi Brown - Powder Blush in Soft Pink
CherryBanana 11/8/2008 2:35:00 AM
Oh how I love this colour. Its quite dark in the pan but on the skin its very nice. I'm very fair, with blue eyes & blonde hair & this gives me a healthy flush of colour. I apply this fairly lightly because too heavy and it looks a bit clownish on me. Learned that the hard way! Anyways I find this very nice for a natural look. You don't have to wear much more makeup, this with a bit of eyeliner, mascara & gloss is all you need for a polished everyday look.

Lotions/ Creams -Avene - Cold Cream Hand Cream
CherryBanana 11/8/2008 2:20:00 AM
This is the best hand cream I have ever used. Its a mircle in a tube. I get extremly dry hands that crack & bleed & this is the only thing that keeps them in nice condition. I used to use the Body Shop Hemp hand cream but after a while it stopped working for me. I got my first tube free with another Avene product I have repurchased 3 times since. I will not be without this ever again.

Moisturizers -Avene - skin recovery cream (US name: cream for intolerant skin)
CherryBanana 11/8/2008 2:15:00 AM
This is my go to cream when my skin is freaking out. This seems to take away my redness and even seems to calm any blemishes that I get. The redness relief is only temporary though. This a very heavy cream so I only use it at night. It feels very moisturizing on my skin. Its fairly expensive but I only use it occasionally. I would not hesitate to repurchase.

Lip Treatments -Avene - Cold Cream Lip Balm
CherryBanana 11/8/2008 2:11:00 AM
I love this lipbalm. I don't really get chappd lips but I always put something on my lips at night to prevent getting chapped lips. I find this quite moisturizing. I actually like the white cast it give as it tones down the red in my lips. Its very expensive for a lipbalm, $14 CDN but I feel its worth it.

Eyeliner -Bobbi Brown - Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Graphite Shimmer Ink
CherryBanana 5/2/2008 1:10:00 AM
Well I was a bit dissapointed with the colour, I was expecting it to be more grey. This is more my fault tho as I have to order from the internet. Anyways this is my first gel liner so I have nothing to compare it with, but so far I'm impressed. This goes on very smoothly & you hardly need any product at all. I also think this looks softer & more natural than liquid liner. The colour itself is more a charcoaly grey on me. Softer than black but still quite dark. Wears well & is easy to remove. I'll definitly try others in this line.

Palettes -Bobbi Brown - Nude Eye and Lip Palette
CherryBanana 5/2/2008 1:02:00 AM
I love this. Wore it everyday the first week I got it. The standout e/s in this palette for me is the Buff shimmer wash, the other three colours are pretty much the same. The lipcolours are all pretty similar as well, Beige being the lightest. I could understand some people finding this boring, but I like the neutral look so for me its a keeper. It shows up very well on my cool PPP skin, never feels overdone but I can see the colour well. I would purchase the colours from this separatly without hesitation.

Lips -Bobbi Brown - Lip Crayon in Pink Raspberry
CherryBanana 5/2/2008 12:54:00 AM
This is a nice, creamy lipcrayon. Its quite soft but not too soft, glides on the lips nicely. Its very much like a lipstick IMO. The colour is quite bright pink but nice not OTT. This wears well & eventually wears down to a stain effect, which doesn't look bad either. The peppermintyness wears off after a few minutes, its not too strong. Liked this so much I had to order the Wild Raspberry one!

Blush -Bobbi Brown - Pink Raspberry Pot Rouge ] [DISCONTINUED]
CherryBanana 5/2/2008 12:47:00 AM
This is (along with Stonewashed Pink) my first pot rouge & first cream blush. Well I didnt know what I was missing out on! I have the Pink Raspberry palette but this blush is much more wearable then the powder verison. Its much softer looking. Gives a really nice flush. I like a strong dose of colour so I haven't been able to over apply yet. This is very easy to blend & lasts all day. You don't need much so I imagine this will last a long time. My main concern was that this would wipe of my TM but its fine, so worried over nothing. I will defintly try more colours.

Conditioner -Kerastase - Nutridefense
CherryBanana 4/13/2008 12:54:00 AM
This conditioner is amazing. I don't have really damaged hair, just normal, highlighted hair (I'm natural dark blonde with light blonde highlights), rarely heat style. I just use this mask once a week after shampooing with Bain Satin 1. I actually get out of the shower, towel dry my hair & then apply this. Leave it on for half an hour to an hour. Afterwards my hair is soo so soft. This is ridiculously priced ($51 CDN) tho but you really don't need alot, it really distrubutes well, so if I look at it that way its not so bad. I would repurchase without hesitation. Packaging is a non-issue as I don't use it in the shower.

Mascara -Chanel - Cils a Cils Lash Building Mascara
CherryBanana 4/8/2008 1:05:00 AM
Well this isn't the best mascara I've ever used but its certainly not the worst. Does a decent enough job of lenghtening & volumizing. Gives a nice soft lash effect when used with a lash curler. Pirce is ridiculous tho. Not sure if I'd repurchase, still looking for the one.

Polishes -Chanel - Blue Satin
CherryBanana 4/8/2008 12:54:00 AM
This does not look the colour in the bottle, which, I am thankful for. This is a deep navy with no purple in it. It is a fairly flat colour, no shimmer at all. Looks quite sophisticated actually. I find you can tell its navy not black. Its alot softer. Like others I found if you apply the Azure over this, then it looks more like what you see in the bottle. Unfortunatly this one does chip a fair bit. I could only wear it for about 2 days before it was looking pretty sad. for me its not such a big deal as I rarely wear polish on my fingers. On my toes I have found Chanel polishes to last a month. So expensive tho.

Polishes -Chanel - Miami Peach
CherryBanana 4/8/2008 12:48:00 AM
This is such a nice spring/summer colour. Its fairly bright, coral-peach with lots of gold sparkles. It takes about 3 coats to get the colour you seen in the bottle. I haven't used this on my hands so I cannot comment on the chip factor but I imagine its no different then other Chanel polishes. However, I mostly wear them on my toes & I can get about a months wear out of them with no chipping at all. Very expensive tho,

Eyeliner -Chanel - le crayon kohl in graphite
CherryBanana 4/7/2008 9:48:00 PM
Wasn't sure how this was going to work with my colouring (cool PPP) as most grey/silver tends to turn blue on my skin, but this isn't too bad. I do see a slight blueness to it...but I doen't bother me like other similar colours do. The pencil is soft, not as soft as the yeux crayons so I imagine this will last longer as it won't have to be sharpened as often, Application is very nice & fluid. Colour lasts all day. I don't find this to be too expensive, its like any other high end pencil. Good for daily wear.

Blush -Chanel - Reflex
CherryBanana 4/7/2008 9:39:00 PM

This looks kind of scary in the pan but on the skin its much lighter. It is very pigmented, so all you need is a light touch, lasts all day. It is a very nice orangey peachy gold colour. it has a lot of shimmer but it doesnt show up on the face. The colour is similar to MAC's Springsheen only this has a lot more orange than pink. I think this would look very nice with a tan or on darker skin, but it still looks nice on my PPP skin. I can't imagine that I'll ever use this up as I only need to apply the lightest amount, so in that way the $40 price tag isn't so bad.

Lipstick -MAC - Sandy B. lipstick
CherryBanana 4/7/2008 9:33:00 PM
I love the colour of this, peachy pink gold, very much like Chanels Twinkle glossimer. Really brightens up the face. I used to run from anything peachy & now I just cant get enough. This gives good coverage & has a decent wear time. The only thing I don't really like is the texture, after a while it kinda gets clumpy or something...I can live with it tho, its not too bad. I would repurchase despite that.
