Hair Color -L'Oreal - Super Blonde
Cherri471 2/6/2011 4:30:00 PM
I am no newbie to the art of dying hair at home. I naturally have level 7, dark blonde hair (arguably some have told me medium blonde but I don't buy it). My hair was a darker brown and a lightened it to a light brown/dark blonde color. I decided to add highlights and saw this was reccomended on another beauty site and gave it a shot. Normally I have used Revlon's frost and glow, which is actually even cheaper than this. So I used this and it lightened, however I now have pinkish/orange tint to my lightened hair and have to get a toner. I'd deffinately use Revlon over this, I used Revlon on dyed brown hair and had it lighten to a very light blonde with absolutely no brass. Sorry L'oreal!

Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - PanOxyl 10% Foaming Face Wash

To give some backround info, I do not suffer from acne, however once in a while (usually once a year) I get the break out from hell! This being one of those times...honestly I can probably blame myself for this one becuase I ate tons and tons of sugar prior to this and my face was completely clear. I tend to have all over clear skin, but when I get a pimple, even a pms one, it is always a blind pimple! This time I had two very large ones in the very same spot next to each side of my nose. Lovely. Normally I used Neutrogena day and night, some tea tree oil and BP to spot treat, ect. However this was bad, and no warm compresses, asprin, spot treatments, ect. were helping and i wanted these gone by Christmas! First I tried Acne Free since it had good reviews and claimed to improve skin in at leats three days. I did this and it seemed like they were improving at the same rate they would with a normal face wash, gradually and slowly. So I moved on becuase I noticed it seemed to make my skin oilier. Then I tried this, let me tell you, I have used this yesterday morning (regular facewash at night) and again this morning, without any spot treatments. The one slightly smaller pimple is flat, with a "ring" from where I popped it before (I know my fualt) the other very large one is hardly noticable, I mean decreased in size at least 80% or so. I am absolutely amazed! I would absolutely reccomend this for anyone experiencing a random horrible breakout or even suffering acne. I plan to use this around the time my period is comming and have also reccomended it to my friends. Amazing!

Hair Color -Revlon - Colorsilk in Dark Brown
Cherri471 10/16/2009 3:47:00 AM
I love this hair dye brand, it's all I use and doesn't damage my hair much at all. However, this particular shade I hate! It literally turns my hair jet black, and I will it give it this, the color does NOT fade at all, won't budge. I've used it before and it did the same,I had to get it professionally highlighted once a month for four months to get it back to a medium brown. I decided to try it again after using soft dark brown-which DID come out dark brown but had faded alot. Probably should have stuck to that, but here I am washing my hair with dish soap and prell- 6 times now in two days- and its barely budged. If you want to do dye your hair black, this would be a really good bet becuase it doesn't have that fake "wig" like look it, it does have some very dark brown/red tones to it, but very barely. Bottom line, this dye is great I would say for any ethnic woman such as spanish, italian, indian ect. or for anyone who wants to dye their hair a "natural" black. For girls with dark brown hair and fair skin, go for the dark soft brown of this brand.

Self Tanners -Jergens - natural glow express medim/tan
Cherri471 9/29/2009 4:55:00 AM
Probably the best self tanner I've ever used...however I haven't dabbled too much. I have tried Neutrogena build a tan years ago, L'oreal, and Dove, and I like this best. I've only been using it for two days (thanks to my boyfriend announcing we're going to an indoor waterpark at the end of the week and it's way too cold to catch any sun outside and I gave up tanning beds), but anyway I really seeing good results. Not orange, bronze somewhat I would say, but deffinately natural looking, much better then ruining your skin too. I did notice a streak earlier, but with a little scrubbing it blended easily, I'm hoping that doesn't mean it will come off easily in the pool. Overall I would deffinately reccomend.

Hair Color -Revlon - Colorsilk
Cherri471 9/29/2009 4:44:00 AM
Literaly this hair dye works better then going to the salon for me, everyone thinks it's awful cuase it's cheap, but I won't use anything else! The results are fantastic! I got this on sale and with a coupon for $1.50. I had very highlighted hair, not platinum blonde but a very light blonde with some dark blonde low lights. Getting it a brown would have cost probably around two hundred dollars at a salon. I bought this in Dark Soft Brown and my hair came out the most gorgeous shade of dark brown! Naturally of course it comes out much darker at first, but it's faded and hasn't turned any red or orangey colors, it's still a very rich brown and the highlights from before all blend in perfectly. I may red dye this week in rich medium brown just to darken it a bit more and becuase I missed a few spots underneath, but trust me this is the best hair dye there is!

Conditioner -Pantene - Daily Moisture Renewal Conditioner
Cherri471 9/29/2009 4:39:00 AM
AMAZING conditioner! My hair was very parched on the ends after getting highlights over the course of a year, growing it out (going longer between hair cuts), along with all the heat styling, and on top of it I decided to dye over my highlights with brown hair dye a few weeks after getting it done. Tons of damage as you can imagine, and I was losing/breaking hairs in the shower alot. I even tried Redkin and nothing was helping. This literaly have improved my hair back up to health. It's no dry, it's soft, manageable and is not breaking. Deffinate must have!

Shampoo -Pantene - Moisture Renewal Shampoo
Cherri471 9/29/2009 4:36:00 AM
Alright I just had to write a review for this, after avoiding Pantene for all the "it's so horrible for your hair" sayings, I decided to give this a go. I had tried Herbal Essence, Redkin, and Garnier. My hair had alot of blonde highlights I would get done every four months over the course of a year, so it was in good condition and not over processed but semi dry with all the straightening ect. I have incredibly thick hair, but all of a sudden it was both oily and breaking alot! On all the shampoos I listed. So I switched to this. After just two washes my hair is so much more moisturized, softer, shinier, stronger (no more hairs falling out in the shower). I also am having no problems with an oil at the roots. Deffinate win win for me and I would reccomend this to anyone.

Conditioner -Pantene - Nature Fusion Smooth Vitality Conditioner
Cherri471 9/21/2009 2:30:00 PM
I normally love Pantene even with how people always bad rap it. I'm a fan of natural so I thought this would be good however after a month of using it, it really does suck. I have long hair that I was getting highlighted every 3 months and I recently dyed it brown over. My hair is very dry and just odd lately, this product in conjunction with the shampoo has done nothing. I also have notice my scalp getting oiler too.

Shampoo -Pantene - Smooth and Sleek shampoo
Cherri471 12/30/2008 3:09:00 PM
After years of avoiding Pantene from negative reviews of how it secretly "ruins" your hair, I finally decided to give it a shot again and WOW! I am in love with the smooth line. I have very very thick hair, every place I have gone since the age of 4, the stylist has said I have "the thickest hair of anybody they have ever seen". Very thick, wavy, and about half way down my chest. And not to mention DAMAGED! I dyed my hair way too much from the time I was 14 till now, and last Spetmeber I dyed my naturally blonde hair dark brown, turning it black, and I have had to get it highlighted three times since then to get it to a lighter brown with blonde highlights. So lots of damage, I used this is and my hair looks amazing. It's soooo soft and shiny and is laying so good, I'm amazed! No fly aways or frizz and I didn't use any serum, I just blow dried and I striaghten the front strands. Amazing. Maybe this is only good for thick hair but I'm deffinately sticking with Pantene!

Conditioner -Pantene - Beautiful Lengths
Cherri471 12/25/2008 2:19:00 AM
Haha I love how absolutely beastly people get over Pantene. If you hate Pantene so much, why keep buying their products and complaining? Anyway I bought this since I'm growing my hair out and nothing amazing happened or anything, I mean my hair didn't grow an inch over night or whatever but it's a nice shampooo and conditioner. Smells good, lathers well, and I did notice less hairs falling as I combed and styled my hair. Worked good for me and I have no complaints!

Moisturizers -Olay - Definity Color Recapture Anti-Aging UV Moisturizer + Sheer Illuminating Coverage - Fair/Light
Cherri471 12/23/2008 2:58:00 AM
I'm only 18, but I'm paranoid about wrinkles and age spots! I used to go tanning for about a year, so I'm trying to fade the very light freckle light spots near my eye. I actually really liked this moisturizer, it hasn't broken me out, but I don't apply it really to my tzone. Just some under the eyes and on my cheeks, I'm fair and the color seems to match up nicely and I just use pressed powder over it. So far so good! Way too pricey though...

Eyeliner -Revlon - Colorstay Eyeliner
Cherri471 12/22/2008 12:09:00 PM
This is my HG eyeliner, has been since I was 14 and started modeling. It's seriously the best eyeliner I have ever used, even compared to expensive department store make up. It stays on just all day (unless inner lower lids-then I need one touch up), smudge proof, waterproof really, and the pigment is fantastic. They actually upped the lighter colors like cocoa and charcole so they stay on and look better too. I've had numerous make up artitists compliment me and ask what I'm using, some inthe buisness for over 30 years! They're shocked its by Revlon too and how well it holds up. It actually can give you a liquid liner look or a natural look, alot of people assume when I do cat eye it's liquid but it's not! Best eyeliner ever, everyone I've worked with asks what I use since it lasts all day, try it!

Concealers -Revlon - Age Defying Concealer With Botafirm ] [DISCONTINUED]
Cherri471 12/22/2008 12:05:00 PM
I'm surprised by all the negative reviews, though I normally opt for L'Oreal's mineral concealer, sometimes its good to have something a bit thicker. I'm 18 and normally I use the regular colorstay concealer by Revlon, but they were out, so I grabbed this and it's fabulous! It's very pigmented and covers well, actually makes you look more awae and brighter under the eye are, stays on all day, I can't see how anyone can complain!
