Blush -New York Color - Color Wheel Mosaic Powder Pink Cheek Glow

I sort of had the same problem as the person below me. Upon applying what I consider to be a pretty normal amount, this blush barely showed up on my skin... and after trying to applying enough to actually get a hint of a rosy flush I always ended up looking sunburnt. I could never manage to find the happy-medium between too much and too little. Nevertheless, it's cheap and contains quite a bit of product. The blush did not irritate my skin and it never looked cakey... I think the shades just didn't work on my skin tone. I now use N.Y.C.'s Naturals Smooth Mineral Loose Blush Powder, which is the best blush I have ever used (it even has an SPF 12-- not much, but I will take what I can get-- and is oil-free).

Fragrances -Giorgio Armani - Armani Code for women
rated 4 of 5
CheekyLady19 1/18/2010 8:12:00 PM

It's a stronger scent for sure, which in this case means that there is more to love! It also has a softer side to it though... a fleetingness or something (not very noticeable, but it is there). Anyways, it's all been mentioned before me... it's incredibly sexy, musky, mysterious, and puurrrrfect to wear in the evening. Don't buy it unless you mean business. (I mean, look at the price!)

Lotions/ Creams -St. Ives - Nourishing Cucumber, Melon & Vitamin E Soothing Lotion
rated 4 of 5
CheekyLady19 1/18/2010 7:57:00 PM

Fresh scent...and a little fruity of course! It has a thin and smooth texture. I haven't worn this lotion for a few years, but I remember it being very soothing on burned and dry skin. (I'm pretty sure it's the cucumber extract or whatever it is.) I like how enormous the bottle it comes in is, too. Lasts for years... (I better check the expiary date on mine!) This lotion would be awesome for avid-lotion users.

Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Satsuma body lotion
rated 4 of 5
CheekyLady19 1/18/2010 9:39:00 AM

Yummy :) I had a friend in highschool who would rub a tiny drop of this lotion under his nose so that he would smell satsuma all day. I really like the citrus fragrance, but it doesn't go well with my perfume so I never purchased it (I just borrowed it from time to time from a friend). Also, I tend to like unsented body lotion more. I don't like when the smell of my lotion rubs off on my clothes and bed sheets. (One exception: TBS's Vanilla Spice lotion... I love when my sheets smell like steamy cinnabuns.) I liked the texture of this lotion... from what I recall it isn't heavy and would be lovely for a hot summer day.

Gels/Soaps -The Body Shop - Moringa Soap

This soap smells so beautiful... Honestly, whenever I opened up my mom's bathroom cabinet where it was nestled I would get a dramatic waft of fresh blossoms. It' very gentle on my skin. Lovely lather and creamy texture. A++

Styling Products -Sunsilk - Anti-Frizz Cream
rated 5 of 5
CheekyLady19 1/16/2010 10:44:00 AM

I really should use this product more often. I have naturally curly hair and whenever I use this cream my curls become much silker and smoother. I think the cream weighs my curls down a bit so that they aren't too unruly and adds plenty of shine. I also like that this product makes my hair feel touchable and extremely soft.

Moisturizers -Dove - Sensitive Essentials Day Lotion
rated 1 of 5
CheekyLady19 1/15/2010 3:38:00 PM

This moisturizer is horrible. I bought this moisturizer last year in the version formulated for "sensitive" skin so that extra gentleness would be insured... was I ever wrong. My skin was anything but soothed after using this hunk of junk! It was itchy and blotchy after two uses... so disappointed. As soon as I stopped using it my skin went back to normal.

Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara
rated 5 of 5
CheekyLady19 1/15/2010 10:50:00 AM

It works, it's relatively cheap and easy to find, and I consider it to be a classic. This is the first mascara that I have ever used and I haven't had any problems with it. I find that all mascaras pretty much do the same thing... none that I have used have been better or worse-- they're all very similar (unless it is waterproof). I will continue to repurchase this product.

Treatments -Sally Hansen - General Nail Polish Remover
rated 4 of 5
CheekyLady19 1/11/2010 8:42:00 PM

Staple product. It's probably very chemically destructive to my body, but so is practically everything else-- I don't really believe in purely "organic/natural" products. It comes in a fairly large bottle (which has lasted over a year between my mother, sister, and I) and always gets all my nail polish off.

Lotions/ Creams -Jergens - Original Scent Lotion
rated 4 of 5
CheekyLady19 1/11/2010 8:33:00 PM

My mom loves the scent of this lotion. When I was younger I wasn't impressed by the scent. However, now I really like it. It's fresh and unique-- I can't really find words to accurately describe it. It does not smell like gag-inducing sweet maraschino cherries like one might think. It's a little sweet, but not overwhelmingly so and the almond scent adds a little... depth or something. It's not a greasy lotion, which is a plus in my books. I like lotions that absorb into and moisturize my skin rather than everything I touch. In my opinion it doesn't moisturize as well as Vaseline's Intensive Rescue, but it does it's job and is still a great buy.

Lip Treatments -Blistex - Lip Medex
rated 2 of 5
CheekyLady19 1/5/2010 10:08:00 PM

I kind of liked how it burned my lips with its minty tingle. But, I did not like how it sucked the moisture out of my lips about an hour later... leaving them looking like they were burned. It moisturizes decently for about an hour and then begins to feel painful-- this is especially awful when my lips are already chapped and raw to begin with. I find Strawberry Chapstick to be more soothing and moisturizing...

Lip Treatments -LUSH - Whipstick
rated 4 of 5

OMG... I cannot wear this lip balm because I will be way too tempted to eat it. It really truly smells like swirls of milk chocolate with honey and mint. I don't think I have ever smelt such a delicious cosmetic product in my entire life.

Fragrances -The Body Shop - Vanilla Line
rated 2 of 5
CheekyLady19 1/3/2010 8:07:00 PM

I used to wear this perfume when I was a teenie-bopper. I thought it smelled like cookies and sugary treats. (It still does... at least the formula I used did.) However, now I only want to smell cookies when they are baking in the oven... not on my wrists.

Fragrances -The Body Shop - White Musk Line
rated 4 of 5
CheekyLady19 1/3/2010 8:02:00 PM

It smells good. I don't think you can really go wrong with a plain white musk scent. Personally, it's a little too simple for me to spend money on, but it is a casual and classic scent that is fit for any season.

Lip Treatments -Chapstick - Strawberry
rated 5 of 5
CheekyLady19 1/2/2010 4:14:00 PM

I love strawberry Chapstick! Dirt cheap and yet it is probably one of the best chapsticks I have EVER used. Big words for me since I have used many! My mom thinks it smells disgustingly sweet, but I don't mind the scent at all. It has a girly rosy tint that compliments my pigmented lips. I will certainly repurchase this!
