What a fun gloss! The blue shimmer is a hoot. I love the way it feels - not at all sticky, which is gross, and not so slick it doesn't stay put. It works alone or over lipstick.
This is my first outing with MAC lipstick and I am in LURVE! Great color for me. It's good for when I'm wearing greens, browns or khakis and can't wear my usual deep rose tones. It goes on smooth and doesn't dry my lips like so many intensely pigmented lipsticks do.

Pro: Great color. (Choc Electro) Neutral: It smudges, but I can control the smudge and it gives me a look I like. Con: Hard to sharpen, won't last long, a little hard to apply. Overall texture is crumbly. Maybe I'm tight, but for $8 it should be better than it is.
I'm not that skilled with liquid liner, so that isn't the reason for the negative review. The girl at the MAC counter showed me a nifty application trick - she tapped the open container on a mirror and it produced just enough to line both eyes - with any liner brush. I managed quite well with a slanted eyeliner brush. It took several tries to get a decent looking line, but finally managed. What I found extremely annoying is the product removes itself. When I added to the line, what I applied removed what was already there. It's a get it right the first time only product - or it was for me. Then there was that little detail of a wretched allergic reaction. I thought the first time I had just fuddled about too much and got loads of it IN my eyes but no. The 2nd time, I applied neatly and the reaction was worse. Itchy rash and watery eyes. It was also the only new product I wore that day. So back it went.
I love this shadow, but not for the reason I bought it. I was looking for a no-shadow shadow - something to give some coverage and even tone without looking like I had on eye shadow. This is way too light for that. What I did discover is the yellow tone completely gets rid of the purple/red of my eyelids. I have always had pink undertones, but as I've gotten older, and thinner-skinned (?), the teency vessels really show through and it is NOT attractive. I've tried several primers and am either allergic or they emphasize any wrinkle that might or might not actually be present (I'm not putting THAT definitively in writing!) on my eyelids. This is an excellent color-corrector and base. I *will* definitely repurchase.
Smog is my go-to every day favorite shadow. Even though I am quite fair, I can wear intense shadow without looking overdone. This gives my eyes stunning depth and does not go orange. Not too shimmery for the office either. Tons of color - it's like Brylcream - a little dab'll do ya. :-)
No color payoff. I've tried application with various brushes, sponges and my finger - it goes on pale & blotchy. Very disappointing.
